We visited Beach Rd hotel bistro on a very hot Sunday for a late lunch and a cool drink. The staff were attentive, the food good and the air conditioning and cool drinks wonderful. It was shaping up to be a lovely afternoon, but then the music started. It was impossible to talk. I did speak to a staff member,...

Having memories of the friendly dining atmosphere, my family and I went here for a easy bite to eat after a long working day. how we wished we went anywhere else. The music was unbelievably loud we couldn't hear each other speak. we tired moving tables, it didn't help. The food was pretty awful too. The pizza was greasy to...

I remember when this was one of only a few places you could go in Bondi and it used to be heaving. Times have changed in Bondi and so has this place. It's matured, refined its offering while still staying true to its Bondi pub roots. Still the best place in the world for a Sunday session.

I went to this hotel to see a gig this past week. Had a great time! Very cool place and atmosphere to hang out. If I ever head back to Bondi this place will be one of my first ports of call. Definitely recommended.

If you're in Bondi and want to burn the midnight oil, go to beachy! It's got a little of everything for everyone. Sports bar and eatery down stairs. Night club up top. You can't beat this place. With hordes of beautiful people coming to party, you're sure to have a good time. Why take my word for it.. Go experience...

The first time I came here a few years back I really didn't think much of the place, however since I wanted to better idea of it before I wrote a review I decided to visit it again and discovered that it was much, much better than I originally discovered. In fact not only does it have a great beer...

We had dinner in the bistro on a Saturday night. We had a large group of adults and teenagers and everyone left very happy with their experience. There were 17 of us and we ordered a large variety of meals between us. Everything we chose was cooked beautifully. The meals were huge and very good value. Good selection of wine...

Beach road can get a little busy and seem a bit unfriendly at times, but for one of the larger bars in Bondi it's probably the best. There are plenty of small bars in Bondi that have a more intimate feeling to them, but for a bigger venue this is the way to go.

I stayed in this "hotel" for one day in April. The pub is OK, the bartenders were nice. But, the room I stayed in can only be described as a dump, it smelled of urine for one thing. That is not the worst part though, even though I stayed for a night, they charged my credit cards for two nights....

If you've ever been to the UK then you'll be familiar with a Wetherspoon's establishment. This is basically that but with better food. Big beer garden, pool tables, sport shown on the big screens, dodgy carpets and an even dodgier dance floor on weekends. However, it is something of an institution. This is partly because it does have some good...

Staying in Bondi Beach

Neighborhood Profile
Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
