We stayed at Torre Fiore Hotel Masseria the last week of June after having spent a week travelling. We are a family of four and this was a perfect stay for each one of us. There is a lot to do nearby if you choose to. The beach is beautiful, Matera was incredible and amazing, lunch in Bernalda at Cine... More

Beautiful hotel in beautiful surroundings. We stayed one night in this gorgeous hotel, our second last night before our holiday ended. It was a perfect splash of luxury to end a break in Italy's most beautiful corner. Pisticci town a ten minute drive up the hill is well worth a walk around and gelato in. The pool area is divine... It is difficult to describe how wonderful this masseria is. For us it was like an oasis in the desert as we arrived after a very long journey. The views are amazing from the restaurant and pool. The rooms unique as is the whole atmosphere. The staff are very attentive and the owner goes out of her way to welcome... More

A Masseria is an old Italian fortified farm or country house built to resist invading peoples so its ironic that they are now mainly used to encourage an invasion of other peoples and this place is a great example of this modern form of holiday retreat. Torre Fiore is owned by a lovely Italian Canadian lady by the name of... More

My husband and I stayed here at the end of September for just one night during a tour of southern Italy to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. The only downside being that we could hear the loo flushing and a chap coughing next door so soundproofing not great. The hotel is... More

This lovely hotel, a renovated collection of whitewashed farm buildings arranged around a central courtyard, was the perfect introduction to the region of Basilicata. Our suite was large and comfortable, with a perfect combination of old (two fireplaces, a collection of vintage ceramics) and new (a very contemporary bathroom). The small restaurant is very pretty, with a beautiful breakfast buffet... More

We haven't felt this relaxed in a long time. After a long day of biking and sightseeing, I really enjoyed the long showers in our beautifully appointed bathroom. The hotel grounds and rooms were tastefully decorated and very clean. Lounging under the Italian sun by the infinity pool was a real treat. The hotel staff and management were so warm and... More

We loved the hotel - really fabulous place that we used as a hub to see surrounding areas like Matera and the Sassi, Alberobello with the Trulli, Taranto, Ostuni, etc. Easy drive to all of them and then when you're done your day of touring you come back to this exquisite and relaxing haven. The views are breathtaking as you... More

A lovely hotel. Beautifully furnished. Everything has been thought of, even the tiniest details. Having travelled the world and stayed in 4/5 star hotels this features amongst one of my favourites and the best one in Italy. It does not have large numbers of guests although the space is large, it feels intimate. The food in the restaurant was very... More

A perfect place to relax, The location is away from the tourist traps in a traditional part of southern Italy with easy access to the coast or the surrounding places of interest i.e. Matera. The hotel is excellent with good rooms, good food, a pool and excellent facilities and very helpful staff.
