Tenerife is the largest island of the Canary Islands. With a mild climate all year round, the Canary Islands are the ideal destination. With an area of about 2,000 km², Tenerife is the largest of the archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean. On the outskirts of the picturesque Puerto de la Cruz, the tourist center of the north of Tenerife, right on the cliffs with an unforgettably beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean, the Orotava Valley at the foot of Pico del Teide is the Precise Resort Tenerife. The Precise Resort Tenerife is surrounded by 40,000 m² of subtropical gardens and offers numerous sports activities, such as tennis, padel, fitness or mini golf. The extensive gardens offer three freshwater pool areas, a luxurious sun terrace and a comfortable sunbathing area. The beautiful Playa Jardin, the most beautiful lava sand beach in the north of Tenerife, can be easily reached on foot in 10 minutes. We welcome you to the "Island of Eternal Spring" to explore the countless natural wonders of the island while enjoying our hospitality.

We booked this holiday purely because of the bargain price for the school summer holidays. The hotel was lovely in the communal areas, very well looked after. The outdoors was amazing! The gardens are gorgeous and a treat to walk through. There were 3 pools all kept immaculately. There was never a worry that we wouldn’t be able to get a sun lounger! It was so peaceful by the pool. There was some sort of summer club on for kids that looked very busy, once you were by the pool you’d never know it was on.

The bedrooms are slightly dated, I think the carpets make it feel more dated. All the furnishings are comfortable and good quality. We had an issue with the toilet not flushing and they sent someone to help us right away. We did notice the carpet wasn’t vacuumed daily, but the bathroom was cleaned every time. The air con worked perfectly keeping the room nice and cool. The sea view from the balcony was my favourite thing about the hotel, beautiful!

The breakfast was average, always something to have, we certainly didn’t go hungry! Bread didn’t seem too fresh, and we did see sliced oranges with mould on them. The area to get toast gets a bit congested and some guests got grumpy about it. The drinks are all together in a small area that gets too busy too so quite often we didn’t bother with a drink because it felt too chaotic. The restaurant was kept clean and tables quickly set up. There is a small area where you can sit outside for breakfast and enjoy the view of the sea 😍

The location of the hotel is a little bit tricky! If you walk it takes about 10 mins to get to a few small restaurants, but about 40 mins to the main area. We walked to town but got a taxi back (€6) because the hill back to the hotel is very steep. Half way up the hill there is a gate to the hotel, it would be great if that was available for guests to use to get back in! There is a beach very close to the hotel but the path is closed off, very beautiful!
We used the hotel shuttle bus to go to town, it was definitely needed. Takes you into town right next to a supermarket and in a shopping centre.

The staff on reception are really good very helpful, always more than willing to help in anyway!

Overall we had a lovely time at the hotel, we loved the pool at the top and the beautiful sea views!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful views, well-maintained communal areas, and our immaculate gardens and pools. We have taken note of your feedback regarding the carpet and the freshness of some food items, and we will address these concerns with our housekeeping and restaurant teams. We are continuously working to improve our services and facilities to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests. Regarding the location, we understand that the hill can be challenging for some guests, and we are glad that you found our shuttle bus service helpful for getting to town. Best regards, Daniel Neubauer, General Manager

A good 2 night stay for my Birthday.
Booked through Secret Escapes, we had a Suite with Sea View @ £80 per night, Half Board.
The Suite was originally 2 bedrooms & the 2nd bedroom is now a very comfortable lounge, & we had the benefit of a bathroom each.
Suite was clean & comfortable, though the furniture was a bit dated.
The Reception staff were very helpful & let us check in early, & supplied us with an extra Wifi code, as each code only covered 2 devices. They also organised the Car Parking @ €8.00 per day.
Restaurant & Bar staff were very efficient & nothing was to much trouble for them.
The food was good, (though there could have been more choice of Evening Main Courses), all hot food was hot & replenished regularly. Salad choices were very good & fresh.
Good choice of Hot & Cold Brekkie.
Bar Area was comfortable.
Gardens were very extensive & made for a lovely stroll after Dinner.
Overall we had a Great Stay & will certainly consider staying again.

The hotel itself is good. Beautiful ocean-view or city view (with beautiful lights at night on the mountain). The pools are clean and one of them is heated. The staff is nice and very helpful. Shout out to the cleaning (ladies) who made our beds every day and changed our towels; their work was really appreciated.

The only thing is that the hotel looks very 'old'. It has a lot of deferred maintenance. The hotel its name officially is 'Precise Resort', while still everywhere in, and outside the hotel you read about 'Maritim' (the old name of this hotel). It's very confusing and not up to date.

During breakfast sometimes I found fruits, cakes and muffins that were very dry, old and not fresh. As if they put the same food back from the day before. I would say that could be better.

But overall we had a nice time. I would recommend this hotel for couples or singles, who like peace and quietness. There were a lot of calm, 'older' people.

The best thing about this hotel? The turtles in the lobby!

A fabulous hotel, built in the 1970's with space, luxury and an understanding of what a traveller wants. To some it may look dated, but look again. It is clean and so very well looked after. There are so many beautiful places to walk and sit. The gardens are exceptional and the 3 different pool areas mean you never feel you are on a 'package' holiday.
The food is really good, healthy and variable.
I can not recommend this enough for the traveller who wants space to unwind and relax. We have already booked our return trip and we are still here!

The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast has a good choice of items that are replenished throughout the set times, so nothing runs out. The room was clean (if not a little dated) and the bed very comfortable. We had a room on the 11th floor with wonderful views of the dramatic coastline; unfortunately the balcony doors rattled in the night as the howling winds and crashing waves danced in harmony! Surprisingly it was not cold in the room despite the elements outside. The mini bar was empty, which suited us as we kept our own drinks and snacks in the fridge. Not much information was given as to when the sheets/towels/toiletries would be replaced - but we followed the international rule of putting our towels in the bath tub and they were changed - the sheets were changed once during our 8 night stay. There is a free shuttle bus service that takes you into the main town which is a nice touch, with the last bus returning to the hotel at 19.45, which is a bit early but to be honest it is not that far to walk, just uphill a lot! Too cold to go in the pool for us, but others enjoyed a morning swim with free towels if you asked for them. Overall a pleasant experience.

Dear Guest, We appreciate the time you took to share your feedback. We're delighted to hear that you found our hotel very clean and our team friendly and helpful. It's wonderful that the variety at breakfast met your expectations and that our room provided comfort and stunning views of the coastline. We acknowledge your comments regarding the balcony doors and appreciate your understanding of the natural elements at play. While our minibar is typically stocked, we're pleased that having it empty suited your personal preferences for storing your own items. We're glad the shuttle bus service added convenience to your stay, and it's heartening to know you enjoyed the swimming facilities even though the temperatures were not to your liking for a dip. Rest assured, we are continuously working to provide clear communication about our housekeeping schedule and appreciate your feedback for further improvement. We hope to welcome you back. Overall we had a very good experience at this hotel.

All the staff were kind, pleasant, smiley and helpful, always. Our room was clean and comfortable. It was on the seaward side with a balcony and spectacular sea view, but very noisy as the Atlantic waves crash on the rocks directly below. We didn't mind this, but if you want a quieter environment, ask for a room on the garden side.

Breakfast (buffet style) offered a lot of choice, including cooked food, fruit, pastries, cold cuts/ cheeses etc. The evening meal buffet was also perfectly acceptable, although we mostly chose to eat out as there are various tapas bars and restaurants within 10-20 minutes walking distance. Loro park entrance is a 15 minute walk away, and impressive black sand beaches and associated beach bars another 5-10 minutes.

What we liked the most about the hotel was the extensive and beautiful sub-tropical gardens, where you can swim in 3 pools located at different levels on the site. Because the gardens are so large, you can find a quiet spot if you need one. There's also a pool bar serving drinks and light meals.

There were a few downsides, but they were minor. The decor is a little dated and our room could have done with a refresh. To go up in the lift you need to use your room key card, but the card readers are not reliable. It can be a little frustrating trying to get the thing to work so that you can access your room. But these niggles were well outweighed by the positives.

We felt that the hotel offered good value and we would stay there again.

Dear Simon, Thank you for your review. We are thrilled to hear that our team's kindness and helpfulness stood out during your stay, and that you found your room to be clean and comfortable, offering a spectacular sea view. The extensive and beautiful subtropical gardens that surround our three pool areas are indeed a highlight for many guests seeking tranquility. We appreciate your candid feedback regarding the room decor and the lift card reader. While we maintain a classic style, we are always considering ways to enhance our guest experience. We regret any inconvenience you faced with the lift access and will look into ensuring its reliability for all our guests. Your positive remarks about the variety offered at our breakfast buffet and the convenient location of our hotel, close to attractions and beaches, are greatly valued. We're glad these aspects contributed positively to your stay. We hope you will return to enjoy these improvements first hand. Best wishes, Daniel Neubauer, General Manager

Quite pleasant family stay at the Precise Resort Tenerife hotel. You can park at the hotel for €10/day. Otherwise in the free public parking lot 150m opposite but you have to be very careful when crossing the road (2 directions of traffic) because there is no pedestrian crossing.
We were well received by the hotel staff, in the restaurant they were a little overwhelmed but always very kind and smiling.
We really enjoyed the hotel's 2-3 swimming pools. The main swimming pool (with paddling pool next to it) was the best because it was well exposed and always heated. Right next door, a mini golf course and a beautiful garden.
There are renovations going on in the hotel so a bit of noise during the day but given previous comments, that's a good thing!
We had a spacious family room, 2 connecting rooms with shared bathroom. It was clean when we arrived but during the stay the cleaning was not done well: the floor was not cleaned, the sheets were not changed once (over 6 days), dirty towels on the floor forgotten/not changed, no soap to clean our hands despite our request..
The room was on the mountain side, the wind hit the bay windows a little but it didn't bother us too much.
Finally, the restaurant offers a beautiful view of the ocean, it is possible to eat outside on the terrace. The breakfast was not bad and quite complete. Dinner was also good, with several dishes to choose from.

We were here as part of an Akon health trip. The building blocks of our trip were health hiking and progressive muscle relaxation. Our trainer Markus was great and always took the participants' level of ability into account. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We had half board and were very satisfied because there is something for every taste. In the morning, for example, you could have an omelette freshly prepared. The only thing that could have been a bit warmer at dinner was the food, there could have been more vegetable side dishes and a drinks menu. You can sit out on a balcony to eat (limited seats) and in the evening enjoy a cocktail on the terrace with a sea view. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy in the morning when rush hour starts. The bathtub and shower curtain in room 1123 (land side with partial sea view) could do with replacing. The pool area is clean. There are new pool towels every day and you don't need to reserve the loungers. You can always find a lounger. The slightly larger beach with black sand is about 10-15 minutes' walk away, beautiful & clean. However, there are no loungers or parasols to rent. A rental car is recommended as the resort is a little out of the way. It takes about 30 minutes to walk into the town of Puerto de la Cruz. The only attraction nearby is Loro Park, which is a 10-minute walk away.

So yes the hotel feels a little impersonal when you arrive, yes it is old and deserves to have the rooms modernized. But :
- he is clean
- it is rather well maintained. We passed painters and workers in the corridors. Could this be a first sign of modernization?
- the rooms are large and the beds comfortable
- the breakfast is quite good with a choice, homemade pancakes, omelettes made to order, fresh fruit, salty foods, several varieties of bread, donuts and other fritters, cheese, vegetables, real coffee . There is something for every taste
- there is a large, well-kept garden with 3 large swimming pools
- mini golf and tennis/padel lessons
We were a little scared because of the comments (we had a wonderbox weekend and 2 possible hotels on Tenerife) but were surprised by the hotel which we ultimately found very good.
We also tested 2 rooms: one overlooking the garden but it was very hot because the sun shines. And the other on the sea which was very pleasant because it faced north and had a very beautiful view.
I also confirm the other comments which indicate that the staff is very nice.
We didn't try either lunch or dinner, so I can't say what they're worth.
It is also possible not to use the hotel parking which is chargeable, there is an underground car park 2 minutes away or places further down the street. We also found it well located, 5-10 minutes from the motorway, 13 minutes walk from a Lidl.
There are also nice restaurants not too far away.

We have travelled my husband and I to Tenerife and the hotel stay has been eight days. We had never travelled with such an option to a resort like the Precise Resort and the experience has been absolutely fabulous. The hotel is very large, although it is cozy. It is very beautiful, its facilities are very clean and uncluttered, it has delicious, lush and very careful gardens, through which you can relax walking at any time of the day. The pools are spectacular, clean and crystal clear water. Next to the main one is the Corsair bar with an outdoor table area where you can eat or drink while enjoying the serene and natural landscape of the surroundings. The dining room where the buffet is served is very nice and also offers views that take away the hiccups. The offer for breakfast and dinner buffet is abundant, fresh and varied and, in addition, constantly renew dishes. We chose Full Pension and, to put a “but”, the midday menu, not being buffet, is less varied than those for breakfast and dinner, as it is the same every day. It seems more intended to "chop" something.

Facilities include a gym and paddle tennis courts, mini golf and a spa. The truth is that we did not use them because we were more dedicated to moving around the island, but we visited them and people enjoyed them. The rooms are spacious and have privileged views and light. We were in a double with a very nice terrace. We had read that they are a bit old, however, everything is very clean and tidy, the staff keeps them spotless. In addition, the hotel management is carrying out renovation and innovation work in the different areas and also in the rooms. The person in charge of the project is doing a magnificent job.

And what was the best thing about it? Without a doubt, the best thing was the staff. From the first moment, when we arrived at the reception to check-in, to the last when we said goodbye, the treatment has been unbeatable, SPECTACULAR. Each and every one of them deserves our congratulations, the full reception team, the Corsair waiters and those who serve in the dining room, the kitchen team, the housekeepers, the lifeguard or the entertainer, all of them have been lovely. I don’t want to leave any name without mentioning, so I don’t quote all those I remember, although I think it would be practically all ;). They are attentive and friendly, chatty, very Pro and respectful, but at the same time tremendously natural and friendly. Diligent, pending every detail we could need at any time, in the cleaning of the rooms, sitting at the table in the bar or dining room or looking for fresh fruit among the buffet offering, there they were. With sympathy and speed and, in addition, with a smile, a greeting or a little talk. Like I say, everybody. At the front desk they immediately notified locksmiths about an incident with our room door and resolved it in a few minutes.
With their close dealings, the pleasant conversation and the small details they have with you, the staff at the Precise make staying with them a bit like being at home and with family. We want to thank you all and encourage anyone reading these words to meet you in person!

Pool towels are provided at reception. You pay a deposit which you get back when you return the towels at the end of your stay. Saves packing in your luggage There are soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom, plastic shower caps and a couple of other useless things.
