What fantastic apartments, ours was a standard , which was huge. With a large balcony overlooking playa de las Roques. Traditional Spanish style, with an AEG oven and hob and full size fridge freezer. Oh and 5 piece Roca bathroom . The staff are really friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, I would guess it was about a third full. The gardens have lots of plants and trees, there is a fish pond, a terrapin pond, and a good size Cesar Manrique inspired swimming pool . Being built onto the cliffs there are some steps down to the apartments, there is a lift from the reception area though.
It is a bit tricky to find, The roads are narrow and very steep, with a lot of one ways, drive carefully !
The town of Toscal has plenty of restaurants and bars, it is very much a Spanish area, don't expect English Pub or anything like that.
It is a little cooler on this side of the island, but still sunbathing in October.
This is an excellent location for exploring this side of the island, The town of La Orotava , The Anaga Mountains and of course mount Teide. The capital Santa Cruz is great to walk round, lots going on, lovely. We went on Sundays, less traffic and easier to park.

I would say, you really need a car. Focus absolutely on the road, road markings and speed limits.
Learning a little Spanish would really help, this is not a British tourist area.
Would we go again ? Yes absolutely it was a great holiday !

The apartments are very nice & quite well equipped.
Some staff like the night porter do not speak English but were still welcoming when we arrived.

The reception staff are great, particularly Agostino who was brilliant.
Agostino and his colleagues were very helpful with directions, calling taxis & general local knowledge.
Streets are very steep so not good for people who have limited mobility.

The Wi-Fi is patchy & intermittent which is frustrating. Phone signal is poor - great if you want to be out of touch.

Breakfast offers good choices unless you're vegetarian. My husband is vegetarian so found his choices of hot food very limited due to meat in almost everything, including scrambled eggs.

The location is amazingly beautiful and stunning.
Most of the guests here are German and very nice and polite. Some guests are Spanish.
We met one American & his Albanian wife.

People tend to smoke everywhere - during breakfast which is inconsiderate, unhealthy & disgusting.
Young children were here and should not be exposed to passive smoke.
We hate cigarettes & smoking so it reduced our enjoyment of our balcony.

We booked last minute on a platform and what a good choice...
3 bedroom apartment: c22
You open the door and it's exceptional... as if you were struggling at sea with the large bay window.
The rooms are spacious, 2 have a balcony overlooking the ocean.
Bubble bath in one of the 2 bathrooms.
The pool is very good size and refreshing. We had it to ourselves since the weather was not at the
rdv...
Our apartment was really luxurious and it is probably the best value we have had since our trips.
The complex looks aging and is not complete as of early July.
Holidaymakers probably prefer the southern sun.
In short this complex would have been inaccessible if it were located in adeje or other...
The feeling of being alone in the middle of the ocean in apartment c22...

The apartment complex is very well located and the views are amazing. It's very wide. The area, very quiet to rest. Maintenance could be better.Kitchenware scarce. No microwave. Still, I would come back without hesitation

All we wanted on our holiday was peace and quiet with lovely sea views. And we did get peace and quiet, there were sea views as well but unfortunately spoiled by highrises opposite the apartments. It would not normally bother me, but on their website they do make it look like it is very isolated with nothing around when in reality you are within residential area, opposite three highrise buildings which really spoil the whole experience. Rant over.

Car is pretty much a must, around the hotel there is no restaurants really, so to get something to eat you have to walk to the main village road which is 15 minutes walk up the very steep hill and even then the choice is limited to couple of pizzerias, chinese restaurant (which in lack of anything else we went to and it was absolutely fantastic).

Apartments themselves are very nice, we stayed in one bed app. Big bedroom (with somewhat hard beds), bathroom is just ok. Main living area/kitchenette is very spacious and nice, well furnished. Balcony again nice and big, shame there was no loungers, just two plastic (not very comfortable chairs). Hotel caters for mainly Germans (90% according to the lovely receptionist) so the only English TV channel was CNN. Apartment was very clean, during your stay they are cleaned every second day.

Hotel grounds are very nicely up kept, area around swimming pool is nice, all very green and looked after. We didn't eat in the hotel but have seen the menu and it sounded quite nice, three course dinner for ā‚¬12.50 seemed very reasonable. There is wifi which is free but only in the pool room.

Staff were amazing, very friendly, nothing was too much trouble, always polite and smiley and happy to help.

It is a lovely place, such a shame that due to their website our expectations were higher in regards to location/view.

Was a dream place for us. :-)
We had a feeling like we were at our second home.
The apartment was very clean and fragrant.
The view from the terrace was incredible and the sound of the ocean is immersive.
If next time we come to Tenerife, then we want to stay here again...

We had a lovely stay here and would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay. But..... and there are always buts. Firstly a car is an essential unless you do not intend to move off the site at all and eat all your meals in the pool bar or restaurant. With the car you will need a Sat Nav without which we would never have found it. I have a Garmin and the route it took going to the complex was narrow, windy and we wondered where on earth we were going but we got there. They give their address as number 11 and this is what we put into the Sat Nav. In fact the entrance is at number 14, just follow the road round the complex and you will find it. It is a dead end and you will be VERY lucky to find a parking place there but there is a turning area where we unloaded the cases before parking up round the corner. A different route out and still windy but not as narrow. The complex is relatively near the motorway so handy for getting around. It is an upside down complex you enter on the ground floor which is also the top floor. The floors are minus 1,2 and 3. We were told our apartment was on Minus 3, E12, but we could not find it and the receptionist had to come and show us. You will easily see C apartments which are up a few steps and D apartments which are down. The E were not obvious and are down past the D. I felt I was going into a pit it was so dark and gloomy and was a little apprehensive. No need the apartment was light and spacious. I soon came to realise that there were about 4 apartments on the E level that had the paved terrace in front of the glass doors with an addition of a further graveled area beyond so much more room. The apartment was East facing and had the morning sun but the sun stayed on the extended part of the terrace until 4.30 to 5 so almost all day sunshine. The extra terraced area has only about 9" walls around it and at the end there is a drop of about 4' onto a small service area and then a drop of perhaps 20' down so would not really suit those with small kids. On opening the doors the first thing to hit me was the noise, it sounded very windy but wasn't. A walk to the end of the terrace showed what it was, an inlet from the sea with a couple of large rocks and the noise was the waves hitting these, it was ever present but in a way quite soothing. The apartment was a sleep 4 but there were only 2 chairs on the terrace by the small table and inside there was the sofa bed which at a push would seat 4. There was plenty of room for a further easy chair and feel this should be provided. Kitchen equipment was pretty basic, a pair of kitchen scissors and a kettle would have been useful additions. I don't cook but a cuppa Is needed now and then and scissors to open packets of cheese and ham and the like would have been better that risking slicing a finger with a sharp knife. We ate one meal in the restaurant. The choice was very limited and the food was OK but not special, I would not have wanted to eat there on a daily basis. The pool looked clean but we didn't use it, it was not huge and there was a small children's pool and play area off to one side. While we were there there were no scheduled activities for children or evening entertainments. I do not know if these are provided in the height of the season. Absolutely not something that we missed. There is no shop on site and you definitely need a car to get to a supermarket. There is a small one in the town and a Lidl just on the edge of town. The reception staff were polite, friendly and helpful. They all spoke some English but seemed happier in German and most of our fellow holiday makers appeared to be German. The whole complex was as clean as a new pin. My assessment is that it suits older couples or those without children who are happy for a quiet place to stay. It comes highly recommended by myself and my husband.

we were staying there for a week where most of it we spend traveling arround the island so location was very handy for us (very close to motorway). amazing view from our terrace (we had room E13) but we were the lucky one as we had the very bottom apartment with terrace. happy with cleaning service , equipment in he kitchen , furnitures maybe are not the newest one but comfortable . tv in room - most of chanels german but you can find some radio on it as well - which was good enough for us as we were there to relax not to watch tv. had dinner in hotel's restaurant once - was tasty but a little bit cold , very small choice. most of staff is speaking german not english but they are helpfull and friendly so language barrier wasn't a big problem for us. very quiet place so you can enjoy evenings on the terrace with glass of wine .

We just stayed at this fine establishment for a week with our 3 and 6 year olds. We booked it through a discount travel agent so we were not sure what to expect...it was amazing! It is not four star...there is paint chipping on the balcony and the food is just ok...but that same balcony looks out on a gorgeous beach and the food is digestible and served by kind/helpful people. The pools (a child size and adult) are pristine and gorgeous. There were always enough dun chairs and umbrellas and never crowded or loud.
The apartment was also pristine and cleaned Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The one bedroom apartment fit us well and the beds were firm but comfortable...again, not four star but clean and adequate. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, dishes, pots and had coffee maker.
The complex also has a coin operated washer dryer and each apartment has a drying rack.
There is no air conditioning but we left the large sliding doors of the balcony open and that was enough.
I would bring towels as they only provide the small white hotel kind.
The beach from the pictures is a pretty good trek down and then back up a steep hill but it is easy enough....our 3 year old did it daily.
There is parking outside the complex...it is in a neighborhoody area in which we always felt safe. ALL of the staff are wonderful and helpful.
I really cannot recommend this place enough...it felt like we stumbled across a hidden gem....will definitely book again.

nice residence but not easy to find (car is essential), if you can, it's better to have the apartment number 22 (22E is the best in my opinion, we were in 22D), these larger apartments with sea view but also the most expensive. own residence, the WIFI is only possible in some places (common area), nice pool. cleaning rooms are made only every 2 days. Residence frequented by German tourists (the fist contact that you have is in german)! Breakfast not very rich and not necessary in my opinion.

Within walking distance is a very small store, where you can get a few basic provisions but honestly not much. It is my opinion that a car is a must if staying in this resort and there is a Lidle's store within a few miles.
