The hotel is closer to the Polhena beach so you can go and swim there. You do not get the waves (up to a certain distance) cause there is a reef around which prevents the waves coming to the show. The sea which is directly opposite the Amaloh is not that calm.
Since there is no life guard hotels cannot suggest any guest to swim cause if something happens guests can always point the finger at the hotel and say they recommended it so suggested it. Like parking at your own risk, you can swim but you have to take the responsibility.
