It is hard to put into words the experience of staying in this beautifully restored guesthouse! Our host Mohammad and his family were absolutely delightful and so incredibly accomodating. My roomie and I stayed on the 1st guest floor which had a cute lounge/sitting area. Our room was beautiful and cosy with very comfortable beds. There is a terrace for viewing the stunning views of the town and the food they served us for dinner and then breakfast the next morning was the best food I've had in Morocco so far! I would highly recommend staying in this gorgeous family home!

Stayed here as part of a small guided tour, and was so impressed with this place. The rooms are cozy and have AC, the location was convenient, the breakfast out of this world delicious, and the hosts so welcoming and inviting. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat! :)

Come and experience this family home that's been converted into an outstanding guesthouse. Enjoy the three-course Moroccan home-cooked meals provided by the family and take a saunter through the kitchen as they're preparing it. Each room is different and has an en-suite. The staff is very helpful. The terrace has spectacular views of Moulay Idriss. La Colombe Blanche is located right in the heart of everything and it's an experience to have a donkey carry your luggage through the narrow and steep streets of the village.

This place is very cool. Super authentic and the family that run it are very welcoming. They cooked us a delicious dinner. Rooms were comfortable and clean which is not what you can say about some of the hotels in bigger cities in Morocco. Loved it.

Central to the market but quiet (the market shuts at 10). Clean and tidy place with helpful staff. Nice open common space nicely decorated. Good rooms but bed a bit hard. Rudimentary breakfast of boiled egg and roti. Good wifi available.

I stayed here as part of an organised tour for one night. We all said that Moulay Idriss and this particular homestay was the highlight of our trip!! It is much much bigger in the inside than it looks from the outside. The hospitality and food were just great here. We had so much tasty Moroccan food for dinner and breakfast. We had a warm shower. We had an ensuite bathroom which I wasn't expecting. Our room was very spacious with a double bed and single bed. Wi-Fi too! The views at the rooftop terrace were lovely. Moulay Idriss is off the beaten track. Very authentic. Not a lot of tourists (that we came across anyway!) We had donkeys to carry our luggage to the homestay. I would recommend staying here if going to Moulay Idriss.

We stayed here as part of a tour group, but we felt so welcome here. The facilities were fantastic and our room was perfect for what we needed. The views are just lovely from the terraces on the top floors. The food was amazing and we were invited in to the kitchen to learn how to make cous cous and tagine dishes. A very warm and welcoming place to stay which is kept very clean and all necessities provided for. We would definitely stay here again!

This little homestay is amazing. Accommodation is comfortable and clean but the stand out is the hospitality from Mohammad, Rashida and family. We were lucky enough to have a home cooked Tagine kefta and cous cous. Views from the roof top late in the afternoon are incredible. This is a must

I stayed here for 1 night as part of an organised tour. Moulay Idriss felt very off-the-beaten-track and not massively touristy which was fantastic. It has narrow streets and fantastic views! This guesthouse is not all that accessible, but everywhere in Moulay Idriss is like that. There are donkeys available to transport luggage and maybe even people. We were greeted with mint tea and Moroccan cookies. There was even wifi which I did not expect, and it worked pretty well. It felt very homely inside and the owner was very welcoming. Our room was fine, not huge but fitted both of us in with our cases. We were there in December and there were extra thick blankets for warmth. The bathroom was not fantastic, but it was clean, had a western-style toilet, and hot water in the shower. We had both dinner and breakfast here, and were spoiled rotten! There were tagines, cous cous and chicken aplenty, all freshly cooked and delicious. The breakfast was also great, a typical Moroccan breakfast but very fresh. There was bread, pancakes and fruit. Overall a delightful stay. Bear in mind that this is a guesthouse in a rural town so don't expect hotel standards, but it's very comfortable and homely.
