You have to be careful about traveling to Qeshm island and specially staying Amini house. on the Iranian vacation on cold seasons, Island is full of traveler. As Mr.Amini told me he will host Max 120 person in his hostel, while I think its max capacity os 50 person. About rooms I prefer 2nd floor rooms for its better view and avoiding mass tourism. Inside rooms mattress and sheets are old and not so much clean. But the best part is their delicious local food. I am sure if you travel in low season will enjoy there
I was there 3 years ago but everyone know Mr Parviz Amini and his Family in that area. cause his father was one of most famous Sailors there, so they are very hospitable and honored family there and they are very Kind with big hearts. The price was so good ,but everything was simple.
Located in the center of the island , captain Amini’s guest house is a very welcoming traditional house with rooms around a patio, shared clean bathrooms and common space. You can take your meals there as long as you tell them in advance, they serve fish and shrimps and many local dishes, all homemade. Captain Amini can organise any visit for you and prices are very good.
Like other traveller reported, the hospitality of this place is far from true. Its the cheapest place I have seen on Qeshm (500.000 per night inc poor breakfast) the place is nice and clean but try to bring your own water or soft drink like I did and you will be sent out with: "I don´t like, go drink it outside". But if you plan on visiting the Roof of Qeshm or Statues valley, this is a good base.
My wife & me and our 2 years old daughter went there at lunchtime and they brought us a mix of fish & shrimp with rice. It was really delicious. Mr, Amini is really hospitable and his house has a warm and traditional atmosphere.
