We visited Qeshm in late May 2020. After looking for a couple of tours and places to stay, we got to know Aref. He had things to offer that most probably nobody else had. His hospitality was notable. He and his family were among the friendliest people We'd ever met. His deep knowledge about the Island was really surprising. He had a nice and decent car to take us to all beautiful sights in Qeshm. He took us to the best places around the Island. He gave us lovely souvenirs as well. He was friendly and polite all the time.If we get a chance to visit Qeshm again We'd definitely go to Aref's place. We'd recommend everyone who's planning to visit Qeshm to stay with Aref and take his tours. Trust Us you won't regret it at all.

First off, the home stay of Aref is simply great. He has a beautiful house in a quiet neighbourhood, where you can relax after a busy day. He and his family made delicious breakfast and dinners for me evey day. We had great personal conversations. I really enjoyed playing some soccer with his little son. Aref picked me up from the airport when I arrived on Qeshm. Aref can also take you all around the island with his car. And because he grew up there, he knows every little place that is worth visiting (not just the famous tourist ones). He can also take you to the ferry, from where you can visit Hormuz island. It's a tiny island, but with some of the most spectacular nature that I have seen since visiting Iceland. Btw: you can ask Aref for a friend he has on Hormuz that can guide you. The friend will take you to some amazing places that most other guides will not take you too. Second, just when I arrived on the island, the corona virus epidemic hit in Iran. It was a very scary time for me, to be in a country where I did not speak the language and all of a sudden everything was in upheaval. I was very fortunate to be staying with Aref, as he really helped me make it through the whole ordeal. I was able to still visit many places that had been suddenly closed (because of the virus) - because of his local knowledge and connections with people on the island. He also took me to some amazing places that only locals really know how to get to. I also needed to quickly extend my visa because of this whole virus sitation (or I'd have a big problem) and this would have been very hard for me if it was not for him. Multiple times he helped me visit the local government building and there he also fought like a lion to get them to extend my visa. It was a nerve-wrecking time, but because of him I was able to get it in the end and also fly home safely again. For this I will be forever grateful.. But I hope your own stay on Qeshm will take place in a more relaxed time :) And Aref's homestay is the perfect place to be your safe base there. Highly recommended!

My husband and I stayed with Aref for 3 nights. He picked us up from the airport and showed us around one day. We enjoyed staying with locals, watching the neighbours and visiting the next-door. The room was clean and we cooked dinner in their kitchen. A great place to stay!

Me and my friend stayed in Aref's Homestay for 3 nights and it was superb! Aref picked us up from horbor and brought us to his place. The place was clean as much as me as a neat freak slept on the bed easily and used hostel's blanket not mine:) The bathroom was comfortable and it was easy to take shower. I was really comfortable there. Aref's wife,Shirin,is amazing! She is really kind and hospitable. I do enjoyed spending time with Shirin and her mom! Their son , Mohammad is lovely and polite:) We ate delicious breakfasts there and tried local bread...!😊 Aref showed us the island as a tour guide and it was nice as well! He has many local friends there and this really helped us be more comfortable. We spent nice time in Aref's Homestay...! You can trust Aref and Shirin they are kind , helpful and hospitable family.💐 Highly recommended...💫 Best regards!

What a nice place to be. With Aref and his family, every guest has found the best guide and the place to be on Queshm. In December I was able to explore the island with Aref for 4 days. Every wish to explore the island could be implemented. Aref was also able to explain places that are not on the list of sights very well. From the beginning I felt like I was at home. You will be welcomed very warmly and friendly. I wish Aref and his family the best for the future. Greetings Thomas
