The location of the Barn Guest House & Tea Room is amazing, with wonderul views across this extremely picturesque village from our bedroom window. The hosts are great, very helpful and provide an excellent service. Definitely recommend it and hope to return ourselves before too long.

Had a trip out to Farndale to see the daffodils with my wife and 94 year old Mother as a belated Mothers day treat for my Mother. Sadly a bit to late for the daffs so visited Hutton le Hole to get a bite to eat. We came across The Barn Guest House and Tea Rooms and what a lovely...

I found The Barn on tripadvisor when we were looking to book our September 2016 holiday. What a find. The Owners Caroline and Gareth were very welcoming and I had mentioned when booking that it was a belated honeymoon for my husband and I. A nice touch in the room - a chilled bottle of fizz. Lovely touch. The room...

We regularly frequent the barn on our weekend rides, the staff are great, nothing is ever too much, always polite and welcoming. Today just confirmed this, the cafe was closed for cleaning but the owner saw us and came out to chat, next think she invited us in for coffee and teacakes! Spectacular service. Good to Hutton-Le-Hole and make sure...

Called in for a snack one lunchtime, was directed to the area where there was a log fire burning, very cosy. Decided to have the soup of the day which in fact was a choice between two different soups, so we had both complete with a roll and butter. Homemade and more a hot puree than a soup, mine was...

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your lunch. We are sorry to hear that you found the soup disappointing. We take all comments on board to help with our continued improvement. Following your comment we have discussed having two varied soups - maybe one thick and creamy and a chunky vegetable soup. All our soups are fresh...

Hutton Le Hole is a lovely little village and The Barn Guest House was just the ticket as it was right next door to the workshop where I was taking a wood turning course! Had our first visit to Hutton le Hole today, what a beautiful little village. Called into the tea rooms for a drink and bite to eat before we went round Ryedale Folk Museum, had the most scrumptious sausage butty and pot of tea. After going round the museum we went back to the tea rooms to sample the home made...

Although I had only once briefly driven through Hutton-le-Hole before now the sight of the beautiful village made a big impression on me. I knew I wanted to return someday to explore it more and was lucky to come across the Barn in the village as it had a single room en-suite which, for me, was a real bonus as...
