The highlight of Desert Luxury Camp is its location. We are set away from the crowds of hotels and other camps in a quiet stretch of the desert dunes with breathtaking views. We offer different pricing levels of desert glamping from our Main camp to more private settings such as the superior camp or our Dome tents. If you are looking for something unique then choose our exclusive Royal camp. All tents are also fully equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower, which will make you feel like royalty, especially after a day out in the dunes! When you arrive, you will be welcomed with a drink, introduced to the staff (who by the end of your stay will feel more like family), and shown to your air-conditioned tent. There is electricity in every tent. Your tent is also fully equipped with a toilet, sink, and shower, which will make you feel like royalty, especially after a day out in the dunes! In cold winter months or hot summer time during the night time hours there is AC to warm you up or cool you down so you sleep comfortably, working at night. Desert Luxury Camp may be the only accommodation of its kind in the world, as there is an in-ground swimming pool just a moment’s walk from each guests’ tent! The pool is located within its own tent pavilion, which keeps it clean and cool: the absolute perfect place to escape the heat of the Sahara. Please beware there are camps with similar names we are Desert Luxury Camp (no other names with it!)

My husband and I planned our trip to Morocco around our stay at Desert Luxury Camp. We booked a 4 day / 3 night trip from Marrakesh to Fes. On our first day, our AMAZING driver picked us up from our Riad in Marrakesh and drove us to Skoura Oasis, with some trips along the way - we drove through the majestic Atlas Mountains and made a stop at Ait Ben Haddou. The next day, we stopped at a Berber Family's home where they showed us how they make beautiful Moroccan rugs. We also stopped at Todra Gorge as well as a family's store that sold traditional desert scarves. We arrived at the camp that evening and it took our breath away. The tent was ridiculously large and well maintained, with a full shower and toilet (with great shower pressure and hot water). It was clean and well air conditioned during the day (and heated at night when the temperatures dropped). We had a delicious beef tajine dinner outside by a large bonfire, with a local group playing music on drums. We were invited to join in on the drum circle and dance around the fire. Later that night, one of the staff took us out to walk out into the desert - we laid in the dunes and watched shooting stars. It was truly surreal. The next day, we rode camels, ate a delicious breakfast (& lunch) and then were taken to a local Berber family's camel herd where newborn camels had just been born. The visit was during a dust storm and was again, truly breathtaking and a memory we'll never forget. We had just found out that Morocco had closed its borders due to Covid and we were surprisingly calm as the staff was reassuring and the scenery made you feel like you were living in a different world (and somehow safe from it all). The last day, our driver took us from the camp to Fes. We were very sad to part ways with our driver, who offered us lodging at his own apartment in case we got stuck in Morocco due to Covid! The whole staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe and at home, their generosity during such a insane time was so beyond our expectations, we are grateful we were in their care. I cannot recommend this stay enough - it was one of the most memorable trips of my life and we plan on returning (and bringing our family) when the world rights itself again.

One of our best experiences traveling in Morocco, and ever, period. From the start of our journey with our amazing driver Abderrahim picking us up from our Riad in Marrakech, with the knowledgeable info, very respectful nature, excellent driving skills navigating the winding roads, and equipped with WiFi on the drive!, we were in for such a treat.
To the desert experience. Wow. The camp itself and its surroundings are incredible. There is a POOL in the middle of the Sahara desert, how is that even possible! Each tent is equipped with a private bathroom and hot shower which was such a luxury. FYI there is heating at night but no a/c during the day.
Major kudos to all the staff who we were in touch with booking the experience online. Their level of professionalism did not go unnoticed. We are especially thankful because we made a mistake on our booking for a day later than we had meant to, and they were very quickly able to accommodate us and rearrange our booking as needed so we could be on our way.
The only thing we wish we had known or done was to 1) bring our own alcohol going into the camp (no problem, they helped us source it for the next night), and 2) ask how we could’ve made the experience even more special to celebrate our anniversary because I bet they could’ve done something amazing!
We did have an opportunity to have a mirage lunch out in the desert during our camel ride (as brilliantly suggested by one of the guests who was also staying at camp). We also woke up in the middle of the night to watch the moon rise over the horizon which is something I will never forget. Pro tip: Download the app called Night Sky to help you see how close the moon is to the horizon before coming out of your tent!
Thank you to everyone at the camp for making this stay so memorable for us! Hope we will have a chance to visit again one day!

My friend and I did the 3 days 2 night package trip from Marrakech to conclude our semester long study abroad program in Florence last December. Our driver was so kind and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed making the nine hour drive to the Sahara much more bearable. He stopped many times along the way to show us different landmarks and for lunch at a beautiful Riad. When we arrived at the camp we were greeted with a warm welcome dinner and Berber music. The tent we stayed in was stylish and clean consisting of two queen sized beds, heat and a fully functioning bathroom with shower. On our second day we were taken on a three hour camel ride with a guide which was a surreal experience. All meals were included and not to mention were amazing. The camp itself was so relaxing and had many lounge chairs and hammocks to relax on. The staff was so incredible making us feel comfortable and welcomed at all times. As two young girls (both 20 years old) we felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. I would recommend this experience to everyone and highly recommend booking through Desert Luxury camps!!

This trip into the desert has been the most incredible experience of my life. The tents were clean, super comfortable beds and gorgeously decorated. Running water, flushing toilets and toiletries provided in the middle of the desert is pretty incredible. Our guide, Youssef, has been helpful, kind and so much fun. We haven’t had to think or worry about a thing, everything has been taken care of. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was provided, and the food was fresh, well prepared and delicious. The camp is beautifully decorated, picture perfect in every way. The hospitality from the staff is 5 star, everyone is so kind, helpful and accommodating. I would recommend this company to anyone, this is an experience of a lifetime.

Overall, our experience with Desert Luxury Camp was wonderful. I spent a lot of time researching camps. I finally decided on Desert Luxury Camp and happy I did. I was looking for a desert experience that provided transportation to the camp because I was doing a DIY trip to Morocco with booking everything individually. This really worked out well as the company provides a driver tour. Our driver, Adbul (Abdel Ali Chaair) was wonderful. He is a lovely young man who came to pick us up at at riad right on time. We opted for the 2 night/3 day tour due to our limited time in Morocco.
Our tour took us thru the High Atlas mountains. We spent the first night at the Hotel Xaluca Dades. The hotel wasn't terribly busy (I didn't realize we were coming off season), but it was decent. A little worn but fine for the night. Dinner and breakfast was provided. It was a buffet style for both.
The next day we headed to Erg Chebbi and the camp. I had inquired about quad biking and Adbul was happy to stop for us to take in this experience. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough dirhams to cover the cost and and using my credit card would cost us twice as much. The electricity was out in the closest city so using the ATM was a no go. Abdul was so sweet and kind and loaned me some cash to cover it so I wouldn't have to over pay. I am so thankful for him doing that.
We were the first to arrive at the camp. Three young men greeted us with tea and snacks. We looked around and tried out the sand surfing that is right there. Later, we did a camel ride, dinner was served in a separate tent and then traditional berber music by the campfire. The tent was unexpected with two large king size beds. We had heated blankets, a shower, toilet and a heating unit. Very much glamping. Overall, the experience was great and Adbul was a wonderful driver. I would highly recommend this experience.

Absolutely Life Changing Experience into the Sahara with Desert Luxury Camp. We began our journey from Marrakesh, where our driver Youssef was right on time and ready to go. Our ride was outfitted with wifi, plenty of bottles of water, and Youssef introduced us to some traditional Berber Moroccan music. We went straight for the High Atlas Mountains, all while Youssef was telling us about the history of the area as well as some geographical information. He also was cracking jokes all along the way, which was just part of his great character. The mountains were beautiful, and Youssef even had a couple of windy back roads for some great scenic views. We stopped in a small town for some lunch, a very nice cafe. The food was excellent and all handmade (of course). We then continued to a Kesbah where we did a tour, very cool. We finally arrived at to our hotel in the small city of Boulmalne Dades, in the Xaluca hotel. It was very nice, and the views were astonishing! The next morning we headed out towards the Sahara. we stopped at the Dades gorge for a bit in the morning (best time) and took some pictures. Later that day we arrived in a small Berber village, where we got a tour and had some Berber pizza, which was excellent. We learned about Berber culture and history, and of course some rugs were involved, but not any pressure. We then made our way to Erg Chebbi. Here, Youssef asked if we wanted to ride a dune buggy or ATV's. We opted for ATV's and went out for a dune riding tour. It was a ton of fun, and our guide was great. Finally we arrived at the long awaited Royal Tent, and it did not disappoint. Nestled right above the dunes, it was a beautiful setup full of tapestries, rugs, teapots and places to soak in the beauty of the Sahara. We enjoyed dinners right by the dunes, sunrise breakfasts, and sunset cups of tea. Our host, Mustafa, was incredible. He was friendly, funny, professional, and really made us feel comfortable and relaxed. The food here was excellent, with their tangine style cooking. We did our camel ride during our second day morning, where we went out exploring and then settled in some shade for a spot of whiskey Berber (tea). Our guide was funny, relaxed, and sang some nice jingles. We went for a hike during the day (climbing dunes rly) for some awesome views, and that evening we went down to the main camp for some Berber music by a band they brought in. The band was excellent, and many of us got up and danced around the fire with some traditional moves. Finally we made our way to Fes, stopping in some areas of the Rift mountains along the way/ Youssef took us to a pottery place we really wanted to go to, and then to our next Riad. Overall and unforgettable experience. Thank you Youssef, thank you Mustafa, and thank you Desert Luxury Camp for a once-in-a lifetime trip!

Let me preface this with the fact that I am an OCD planner. I love to do research and read reviews and all that jazz. Now deciding where we were going to stay when we did the trek from Marrakech to Fes was not something we picked quickly. We thoroughly reviewed and crosschecked 6 different companies. Many seemed to offer similar things (on paper) but Desert Luxury an additional night in the desert. Little did we know we would have wanted even more nights in the desert (it's simply something from a dream). If you are presently deciding between companies, I can assure you Desert Luxury is a great choice.
The ride from Marrakech to the desert is no short trip. As such we, we are SO grateful Youseff was our guide and driver. Youseff is such a gem, we honestly can't imagine our trip without him. He is such a comedian, always joking around yet serious in a sense that he is always looking out for us with our best interest and safety at heart. The long drive didn't seem like a drag, one being due to the magnificent backdrop that is Morocco and two because it seemed like 4 friends on a road trip (opposed to 3). Youseff is someone we still consider a dear friend and hold close to our hearts to this day.
The accommodations at the camp blew us away.
There was real plumbing and hot water inside the tents, and to our surprise the hot water and pressure was the best of the entire trip. We were initially concerned about the temperature drop at night however the heater and cozy/heavy blankets did the trick. The service was 5 star throughout our stay. Omar was always there if we needed something. The berber pizza is a must have and is something we miss dearly!
There are not enough words to describe how amazing our experience was with Desert Luxury. The desert was by far our favorite part of our trip (which included Marrakech, Fes and Chefchaouen)
All in all we can not wait to go back. This road trip made us fall head over heals in love with Morocco.

I have always wanted to go to Morocco. It was me and my husband's honeymoon and we decided to adventure to a different part of the world as it was a year of firsts for us. First year married, first time in Africa, first time to Morocco.
We were feeling apprehensive at first, as I had completed a lot of research on Morocco and there is a lot of information that can make you feel unsure of exploring a new continent, which is why we decided to go on a guided tour. Their service did not disappoint! It made planning for our trip easy, exciting and educational. Desert Luxury camp tours was a wonderful way to see the various landscapes Morocco has to offer, the spectacular towns, learn of the history, and of course meet the warm people. Staying in the desert was a highlight for me and the camel ride at sunrise would forever be a moment my husband and I will never forget.
I would especially like to thank Abdul our driver. He was so accommodating, friendly, helpful, informative and just an all round beautiful human being. It was such a delight that he invited us to his mother's home, meet his family and that they offered us lunch out of the kindness of their own homes. If we had better organised ourselves and our time, we would have stayed. Abdul really looked after us and I can not praise his diligence, flexibility and kindness. It really was a trip we will never forget. Thank you for making this an unforgettable honeymoon
I hope we can do it all again with Desert Luxury Camp.

I Have been absolutely enchanted by the beauty and peacefulness of the desert thanks to my experience I had at the Desert Luxury Camp!
We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by the staff at the camp who extended such kindness and consideration during our stay .
I am so grateful we went with this camp as it is set further into the desert away from town and the congestion of the other camps that are crowded together on the fringe of the desert . This camp indeed offers luxury amenities one wouldn’t expect to find in the desert like exquisite bedding, clean hot showers and a pool!
I enjoyed being in the desert more than I ever imagined . It is ever changing in the different lighting from sunrise to sunset both of which were highlights of each day . The camel ride into the desert with Bakar will always be one of my sacred memories of my trip to Morocco ! The other memorable experience was the 4x4 ride we had with Hamid . He extended such hospitality and always made us feel safe and comfortable .
If you are contemplating adding this camp into your Morocco itinerary ...don’t hesitate ! It is golden !

Our family, including one in a power wheelchair, had the most amazing trip to the desert this past November. From the first email, Jana was super helpful and responsive, assuring us the trip would be possible with a wheelchair. Once we got there, we were picked up in Marrakech by our driver/guide, Rachid, one of the nicest people we've ever met. Rachid was so wonderful the entire time during the LONG drive to and from the desert. He was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable guide, and a super friendly guy who took care of us the entire way. By the end of our journey, he was like part of our family. I would highly recommend asking for Rachid as your driver!
On our way to camp, we stayed at Dar Jnane Tioura near the Dades Gorge. Mostapha warmly welcomed us and made our stay so special. We had some of the absolute best food we've ever had in our life. I highly recommend staying here on your journey to/from the desert!
Once we got to the camp, we were greeted and welcomed by Omar. We arrived close to sunset time, and Omar made sure we were taken to watch the sunset. After sunset, we settled into our amazing "tent" with a full private bathroom and electricity. The best glamping experience we've ever had. After settling in, we had a wonderful supper and then enjoyed an amazing live performance around the campfire. The next morning, some of us wanted to do a camel ride at sunrise, and Omar made sure this was arranged for us. We saw the most magical sunrise. After breakfast, it was time to go. We were so sad to leave camp, especially after Omar and company made us feel so special during our stay at camp. I only wish we could have stayed for 2 nights!
The whole trip was such a wonderfully unique experience. Definitely a trip we will never forget!

I think that region of Morocco will still be quite hot during the day. So I doubt the evening/overnight temperature will be truly cold. However, to get more accurate information, I think you can google this question and there will be links to help guide you.
