hope everyone in DLC safe during this crazy time Loved loved loved all of it! Really good set up and execution of this tour. They picked us up from Marrakesh and took us on our journey to the desert! Stopped at a really lovely guesthouse and yummy restaurants along the way. When we got there they had tea and cookies waiting for us : ) The tents and the camp are GORGEOUS... the swimming pool is icey cold (perfect for cooling off). The staff is wonderful! They are so helpful and nice, and truly care about you and your stay. Youssef is THE BEST! Literally the best. Made our whole trip❤️ #habibi

My husband and I planned our trip to Morocco around our stay at Desert Luxury Camp. We booked a 4 day / 3 night trip from Marrakesh to Fes. On our first day, our AMAZING driver picked us up from our Riad in Marrakesh and drove us to Skoura Oasis, with some trips along the way - we drove through the majestic Atlas Mountains and made a stop at Ait Ben Haddou. The next day, we stopped at a Berber Family's home where they showed us how they make beautiful Moroccan rugs. We also stopped at Todra Gorge as well as a family's store that sold traditional desert scarves. We arrived at the camp that evening and it took our breath away. The tent was ridiculously large and well maintained, with a full shower and toilet (with great shower pressure and hot water). It was clean and well air conditioned during the day (and heated at night when the temperatures dropped). We had a delicious beef tajine dinner outside by a large bonfire, with a local group playing music on drums. We were invited to join in on the drum circle and dance around the fire. Later that night, one of the staff took us out to walk out into the desert - we laid in the dunes and watched shooting stars. It was truly surreal. The next day, we rode camels, ate a delicious breakfast (& lunch) and then were taken to a local Berber family's camel herd where newborn camels had just been born. The visit was during a dust storm and was again, truly breathtaking and a memory we'll never forget. We had just found out that Morocco had closed its borders due to Covid and we were surprisingly calm as the staff was reassuring and the scenery made you feel like you were living in a different world (and somehow safe from it all). The last day, our driver took us from the camp to Fes. We were very sad to part ways with our driver, who offered us lodging at his own apartment in case we got stuck in Morocco due to Covid! The whole staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe and at home, their generosity during such a insane time was so beyond our expectations, we are grateful we were in their care. I cannot recommend this stay enough - it was one of the most memorable trips of my life and we plan on returning (and bringing our family) when the world rights itself again.

My friend and I did the 3 days 2 night package trip from Marrakech to conclude our semester long study abroad program in Florence last December. Our driver was so kind and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed making the nine hour drive to the Sahara much more bearable. He stopped many times along the way to show us different landmarks and for lunch at a beautiful Riad. When we arrived at the camp we were greeted with a warm welcome dinner and Berber music. The tent we stayed in was stylish and clean consisting of two queen sized beds, heat and a fully functioning bathroom with shower. On our second day we were taken on a three hour camel ride with a guide which was a surreal experience. All meals were included and not to mention were amazing. The camp itself was so relaxing and had many lounge chairs and hammocks to relax on. The staff was so incredible making us feel comfortable and welcomed at all times. As two young girls (both 20 years old) we felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. I would recommend this experience to everyone and highly recommend booking through Desert Luxury camps!!

(March 2020) This entire trip far exceeded any expectations imaginable. Every single day was perfect, including the travel to and from the camp and Marrakesh. Our driver, Hassan, was extremely accommodating and made sure we enjoyed our time. The Atlas mountains and Berber villages were breathtaking. The camp was absolutely beautiful and the service was excellent. Perfectly unforgettable experience.

Venturing to the Saharan with Desert Luxury Camp for our honeymoon trip was adventurous, romantic, and surreal! Everything from the moment we got picked up by our friendly, easy-going, and knowledge driver Kamal (he’s amazing and smart), to the last minute of this incredible adventure was beyond our wildest dreams. The radical change of landscapes road tripping to the desert, the food, but especially the friendly and wonderful people that work for the camp, made this whole experience truly unforgettable. We adventured on the 3-night/4-day package and we're SO glad we did because we really got to soak up every moment to the fullest without feeling rushed. Every part of the itinerary luxury desert camp proposed worked our perfectly. The camp staff were very responsive and communicative since the very first moment I contact them. Our driver Kamal was very communicative at all times and keep us updated on our next stop, plan for the day, etc. We felt taken care of without feeling smothered! Once we got to the camp, Omar welcomed us with the sweetest smile and huuuug!! We love him and would love to see him again when we go back to Morocco. The tents are truly luxurious... bathroom with running water and showers, huge beds with a heating system in case it gets too cold at night, chargers, etc. Regarding food... our taste buds were blown away by the meals prepared by the camp’s chef, Joseph! You’re in for a treat if he’s cooking during your stay. Though I’m certain whoever the local chef is during your stay, will make you appreciate the simplicity of their meals while tasting the richness of flavors encapsulated in the fresh, organic ingredients they cook with. Food is truly delicious!!! Mohammed, our camel driver along with Omar, led us on camel rides to the largest and tallest sand dune in Erg Chigaga for a picnic. We also drank classic, delicious mint tea, which may sound crazy to be drinking hot mint tea on a hot day in the Saharan. But we kind of cooled down... probably because of mint’s cooling properties that cause a “cooling” effect when one consumes it!! Gosh! We loved every experience of this adventure so much, that one month + later we’re still talking about how profound and surreal of an experience this was! Highly recommend traveling with Desert Luxury Camp.
