We stayed here for one night as part of a 4 day excursion with Desert Majesty tours. It being August (and 46'C) we were the only group staying at the Auberge! We felt welcome and well cared for. We went on our camel tour at sunset which was perfect. We had a tasty tagine dinner in the main building then... More

We had a great time at the Auberge Sandfisch. We slept in two different types of accommodation: a tent and also in a room. The tent was a more interesting experience, but the room was much easier with a toilet and bathroom much closer. ;) Sleeping in the desert was a great experience, but remember to wear some warm clothes... Sandfisch Bivouac is a great place, great location and with the possibility to become even greater!! The staff here make the place special, Ali and Reda are two of the most gentle, kind and funny guys you could encounter in the middle of the Merzouga desert. Said, who sents us here from Fes, thank you! Omar, thank you for your... More

Spent 1 night here as part of our 3 night desert safari. A massive sandstorm came across the area while we were out riding camels, so we had to return to the site early. We retreated to our "tent" for a couple of hours, nothing else to do, while sand and dust was filling the tent through gaps and cracks.... More

Had a great night here. Cosy tent with very comfortable and warm bed as well as en suite bathroom. Delicious dinner followed by music. The highlight was amazing camel ride to Erg Chebbi. Sandfisch is quiet as it is away from the rest of the accommodation. So peaceful and a real desert experience.

Let me preface this review by saying that I loved the dunes of Erg Chebbi and that I am fully aware that Sandfish is not a hotel but a desert camp and that I did not expect the comfort of a hotel of the same price. That said, despite our expectations we did not like Sandfish in any way. Positive:... More

We spent one night at Auberge Sandfisch, on our desert trip. Experience in general was amazing, from riding their camels to beautiful dinner in the evening. It's a bit cold during the night, but they will give you a lot of blankets. I'd like to say that desert is not for everybody, and if you mind heat during the day... More

We spent the night at Auberge Sandfish after camel trip to the dunes. What a great experience! Sandfish is located far from busy roads, so it is very quiet and we had a good sleep (we have noticed this might not be the case for all the camps). It has has very comfortable tents with electricity and clean toilets just... More

It was an incredible stay and we loved it sooooo much. The Hotel is located a little away from the big dunes. Around the hotel you have only sand, no other hotels and you feel like you are alone in the desert. It is really wonderful. The owner are very kindly and fullfil every wish. We booked a night in... If you are looking to get away from everything and everyone this is the place. Rooms are comfortable and big, warm water showers and a spectacular view from your bed. The next town is about 3km away. Food is good, internet is not. Staff is friendly and helpful. If youre a skilled negotiator you can get a very good deal... More
