We stayed at the guesthouse for 2 nights a week ago & it wasn't long enough! Lovely converted original Norwegian buildings make up the main building ( with its reception, dinning room and tv room ) and the guest accommodation ( some of which are self catering ) We stayed on a full board basis and the food was incredible!...

I drove from Utsjoki to Kongsfjord and the scenery was spectacular but nothing prepared me for the beauty of Kongsfjord itself. The guest house is easy to find as it's such a small place and it is truly magical. The setting is stunning and the guesthouse is wonderful. The room was cosy and warm, well presented and it had everything...

Kongsfjord Gjestehus offers one of the most spectacular places to stay on the very northern tip of Europe. There's only water and ice between you and the North Pole. It's far out of the way, but offers good accomodation in amazing surroundings. The views are spectacular, and as an added bonus the little penninsula it's situated on is littered with...

This is undoubtedly one of the best places I have ever been. The setting is everything I wished for: tranquil, comfortable, excellent food, more-than-helpful owners who quite clearly enjoyed sharing their passion for the place. We had the only clear night of the holiday and sat on the top of the hill watching the sun starts to rise again just...

My wife and I stayed here for a night after warm recommendations from a friend. And how right he was! This is a very quiet and relaxing place. The guesthouse consists of 5 different buildings. And while the small buildings look quite anonymous from the outside the rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We stayed on the 1st floor...

Two nights here as part of an Inntravel Norway holiday. Probably the most dramatic and remarkable part of the whole holiday. The ladies running the guest-house were the most friendly and helpful you could ever want. The scenery was just wonderful and the ability to wander around the peninsula in the deep snow and across icefields, with no sound but...

This is the most delightful guest-house you could imagine. Its characterful, has beautiful surroundings and the ladies who looked after and fed us were superb. It felt like home...so much so we wanted to help clear the table after the lovely meals they prepared for us. The onward journeys were well organised too. The only thing they couldn't do was...

It would be difficult to find a more remote place. Our welcome and hospitality has been fantastic, the owner and her staff have gone out of their way to make our stay a magical experience. The accommodation is a cosy and homely retreat far from the pressures of our working lives, a little gem. We have been well fed with...

Fantastic food, staff and environment! I tried snow crab, fish and lamb. Everything was perfect! I will absolutely return one day and I will spend a night there. I can definitely recommend this place!

I have visited Gjestehus already three times and cannot wait my next trip up there. I have been there alone, with family and friends, stayed at the Månedskarbua, Hilmar Olsen barn and also at the cheaper/simpler Vandrarhem, called "I havna". (All the prices are quite reasonable, it is Norway after all.) Gjestehus is calm, cozy and beautiful paradise. Experience is...
