Beautiful boutique hotel facing the Dolomites Mountains with large bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen, wooden floors, a fun terrace, large and comfortable bathroom, underground parking, laundry room for laundry and drying. The hotel charges EUR 7 per night for cleaning the room when leaving, it would be fair if they explained at the reception of the room what this cleanliness includes to match expectations
The staff is friendly and accommodating at all times. It is clean and there is so much to do close by outdoors. It is cool all day long. Easy to enjoy nature in this wonderful setting. The rooms are very large and the kitchens are fully equipped. Each apartment has a balcony with splendid views of the mountains.
We stayed there only 1 night which was not enough, welcoming was great, the apartment was perfect equipped, although Internet access should be surcharge we got the password for free, the residence offers Private underground parking... The location is great for family activities like rafting, cable car to the ski site is just few hundreds meters from the residence... Bottom line - great location, excellent facilities,,, I would only suggest to add some English channels on the TV...
We stayed at the Moretina for two nights toward the end of April, 2013. The apartment had good space, with somewhat spartan but tasteful wood-themed decor, like what I would expect being in the mountains near the Italy/Austria/Swiss border. The beds were sufficiently comfortable and the down comforters warm enough. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook an array of meals, and included a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove and oven. The shower and water throughout was hot. Lots of windows and deck space to open much of the apartment up to the mountain air should one wish. The property is in an okay part of the Val di Sole, though it would be helpful to have a car here. There's a nice, spacious underground enclosed garage, and an awesomely big, quality elevator by Italian standards. There's a nice reception/dining area that was pretty quiet, probably due to being the shoulder season. Good base point for exploring both up and down the valley, and it's within easy walking distance of bike and hike trails, a playground and a little village with a market and restaurant. The owners were very nice and ended up not charging us an internet fee when we were unable to access the internet. Inability to access the internet may have been due to the type of computer we were using. Probably the very best thing about La Moretina was the price. We booked through Hotels.com and as a family of four, for what we received for our money, we were very satisfied. Recommend.…
