We recently spent a week at the West Bay Lodge with family and friends to celebrate a wedding anniversary - there were 30 of us total. Celeste and her amazing staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The short walk to the beach at West Bay is beautiful and not exceptionally crowded. Snorkeling is a must, so many things to see just off the beach. Plenty of restaurant choices in the area.

Celeste and her staff do a great job of trying to please all their guests and make sure they have a memorable stay. Bungalows are nice and the grounds are well kept. There is a restaurant on site that serves delicious meals and has a nice menu. The pool is a nice place to relax and their is always a breeze on the patio. They plan a snorkel trip which is always a lot of fun. Since this is a smaller resort you get to know all the employees and guests. They are active in donations for the residents of the island. My wife usually brings shoes and powdered baby formula to help out.

My friend Mary and I just returned from our first visit to West Bay Lodge and Roatan. I can't wait to go back..! Celeste and crew go out of their way to make sure your stay is the best. They picked us up and brought us back to the airport...arranged for a sloth and monkey visit and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great and the FREE breakfast each day was beyond what I expected. They get two thumbs up from me!!

We were able have an unplanned week's stay at West Bay Lodge when our travel plans changed unexpectedly. We stayed in bungalow #2, king sized bed, well-stocked kitchen and roomy bathroom. The balcony with a hammock was a plus. We would like to thank Celeste for her welcoming personality, Melony, who cheerfully and patiently made sure that all our questions and needs were met, and Beverly, who managed the included breakfast every morning. Special people! I will miss them! The grounds are beautiful, shady and breezy. We enjoyed all the animals... Roo, the dog who pays such careful attention, the rabbits, turtles, parrots, and all the kitties. We were always pleased when little Bonnie dropped in for a visit, a cuddle, and some play. My wife and I rented a bungalow #7 by the pool. It came with balcony, kitchen with 2 beds. It was a beautiful setting in the trees near the pool area. The faclity comes with bungalows and a couple of small houses. The landscaping was great with well grown trees and shrubs with small turtle ponds and a rabbit cage. A very nice setting. The restauraunt was great with had a seafood platter and eggs benedict in the morning. Both meals provided by the Celiste Restauraunt on site. The food is excellent here and we will be returning next year.

Celeste and her team as always providing a wonderful experience. Facial in the jungle, fresh ceviche and cocktails by the pool. Life is good at West Bay Spa. Highly recommend everyone treat themselves to this bliss. I plan on going back again soon.

If you want to feel at home in paradise West Bay Lodge is the place to stay in Roatan. Celeste, is by far the best host, she makes you fell like family and caters to every need. Her staff of Meloney, Quincy, Elsa, and the rest of the group will take care of any meal, excursion, taxi, or reservation you may desire. We have been coming to Roatan for years and can’t imagine staying anywhere else but the West Bay Lodge. They made our vacation (and first time with the grand kids) a perfect 10.

We just had a 4th or 5th trip to West bay Lodge. It is truly a home away from home. The entire staff is wonderful and gives everyone great attention. I love the bungalows which give you so much privacy. And the way everything is spread out, there is no concern about covid. No enclosed spaces and the bungalows make it easy to social distance. Our trip we hade 8 people so we had fun hanging out with each other at meals and on bungalow porches. Melony had everything taken care of for us and Quincy even made us ceviche! Celeste is a great hostess and even joined our group on some activities.

We stayed at West Bay Lodge for 10 days in June 2021. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary. We met very nice people staying at the resort and Melony was awesome help and Her son was a sweetie, too! Breakfast was very good every morning and I enjoyed all the various animals on the resort. Our trip was better than I expected and it was because of the service, food, the people, and the beautiful beach. I can’t wait to go back again…

What an amazing place tucked away like its own little oasis. Just a short walk to the beach for some snorkeling and beach time! The owner Celeste (my name is Celeste as well so that was fun) was very accommodating to pick up and drop off at the airport, coordinating day trips from a tour of the island, zip-lining, and dolphin encounters just to name a few. She ensured we had everything we needed. The lodge and employees make you feel like you are home and part of the family. Beautiful tropical feel, great food, great service, and amazing massages at the spa. Melonie, Quincy, and Loirilie along with the owner Celeste made our first trip to the island so special we want to go back! I can't forget about Mailbu and Batman the resident parrots...miss those two characters! We kept them busy with a group of nine of us from all over the US.…
