My husband and I just returned from a 12 day vacation at Mayan Princess/Las Sirenas and I cannot rave more about this beautiful resort on this gorgeous and healing island. Everything from the the room, grounds, beach and staff... especially Roberto, Douglas, Mario, Vanessa and Bryan the beach attendant ... was spectacular. WE WILL BE RETURNING NEXT YEAR!

Very nice resort. Pretty quiet and not much for night life, good for families or those who like it laid back. They have live entertainment 2 times a week, plus a karaoke night and local Garifuna tribe who do a show. By 11 pm the bar is pretty quiet. There are numerous beach bars on the beach just a short...

I agree, finger printing takes awhile but safety first. We couldn't check into the room until 3 p.m. and they were very strict about this. Changing in a small bathroom was uncomfortable. Lots of sand flea's. You don't see them until the end of the day when YOU scratch your body until bleeding. This was the only negative. I am...

It was our first trip to Roatan and a first stay at the Mayan Princess, which was highly recommended by a colleague. We travelled with a 2 year old, so our main concern was safety and comfort of our child. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and felt very relaxed at this hotel. It has a wonderful property, clean and well-designed...

I have been to the Mayan several times. I love the beach so much...I can't be bothered going anywhere else. The size of the Mayan Princess is perfect..big enough for privacy should you want and small enough to make many new friends. the rooms are spacious and come with a kitchen. the upstairs rooms are smaller ..around 780 square feet....

I love Roatan, and I have been to the Mayan Princess many times. The hotel management and staff were excellent. The management team, Juan, Mary, and Victoria were exceptional and treated us with excellent care. The front desk staff, Roberto, Ivan, Mario and Douglas and Jen always had a smile, and were always eager to help us with any request....

be aware customs have a new process, when you first arrive you will be finger printed and a photo taken at customs, this is very time consuming 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I have travelled a fair amount and have never ran into the situation where they put you in a shuttle to take you to your hotel and your luggage...

I would like to start off by saying I did enjoy my stay at the Mayan Princess, however as always there are positives and negatives. The beach is beautiful, unfortunately a storm had rolled in just before we arrived and the beach was filled with seaweed, but the maintenance crew worked hard and soon enough the beach was back to...

Amazing vacation. Loved the fact that this resort was small. The ala carte's were the best, we especially enjoyed the Luna Maya two evenings we were there. We stayed in room 110, it was a garden and perfect. Ground floor, huge living area. We didn't use the kitchen. Yes it's older but we feel it was amazing value and we...
