Fantastic day trip Snorkeling- our Diver and Captain are knowledgeable and eco- environmentally aware - protective of the reefs and sea life. First thing we saw was a stingray gliding right by us following a barracuda . The reefs are alive , the fish 🐠 were stunning - like swimming Over the Grand Canyon.... beautiful Day , thank you so much ! ♥️

Regular rooms are so tiny that when having suitcases in the room, there is hardly a space to move or sit. The room does not even have a small table as it would not fit. TV is on the wall partially covering the mirror. It was a very depressing experience for us. This is definitely not a 4 star resort. The entrance to the hotel is full of pot holes. There is no facility to exercise when there is an inclement weather. We had 5 days of heavy rain and strong wind. The only uplifting experience was a one time a stay dinner - no extra charge that we managed to book in a restaurant beside the buffet. The meal was superb and so was the service.

The good: Rooms are clean, pool and grounds are beautiful, the staff are super friendly and the place gets real quiet by 9PM. The sand never gets hot and the water is beautiful. Not much wave action here since the coral just about a hundred yards away act as natural breakers. A short walk out into the water on the western part of the beach offers you all the snorkeling that you need. The bad: Because the resort is so small, the buffet variety tends to suffer. But its not all bad since we never had any issues tummy wise. The ugly: Too many tourists from the cruise ships make the beach very crowded and the vendors can be annoying. Like most resorts, get up early to reserve a beach chair. The police and military are often seen walking the beach which adds a sense of security. This is probably because many Hondurans from the mainland also come here to vacation, some are quiet while others not so much.
