PECR Apartments Hotel is located in the very heart of the Pec pod Snezkou ski centre-- a centre which has yet to exhaust all of its potential for its visitors. This peaceful village at the foot of the highest mountain in the Czech Republic is beginning to change. Of note is not only the newly-built gondola ski lift to Snezka, but the transformation of the ski centre in Pec in particular. The modernisation of the centre, which includes an additional chair ski lift, new downhill courses, and the gradual interconnection with the centres in Jansky Lazne and Velka Upa, will make this one of the largest ski centres in the Czech Republic. Leisure-time infrastructure beyond the winter months is being gradually built as well. Hiking trails, bicycle routes, a ropes course, a bobsled roller-coaster, and a myriad of other attractions offer active leisure time in our tallest mountains for all of our visitors.

Great location with comfortable apartments, a very nice wellness area and helpful staff. The hotel restaurant/burger house is offering also great food (if you like steaks and burgers). If you want to relax for a couple of days, PECR Well is a truly great place to be.

Accommodation as a whole hotel was very beautiful, we had an apartment. Staff helpful and no matter how I think I can't find anything to complain about.
Next time I just hope in better weather, let me fully enjoy Wellness with drinks as it should be :-)

It has been a struggle finding a decent accommodation in Krkonose Czech Mountains for years. I love Pec Pod Snezkou - in my opinion the best place in Czech high mountains region for all summer/winter activities. Not as overcrowded as Spindleruv Mlyn and local people are so very nice although a little shy.

'Pecr Apartments' is a first hotel in years that can stand up to the demands of Londoners. I trust the original purpose of the building was a new residential development for sale which eventually ended up being a hotel hence the internal sizes of the hotel 'rooms' are enormous, in fact they are 1 Bed and 2 Bed fully fitted apartments. High ceiling height, private balconies, fully equipped kitchens (including brand new dinning ware, cooking utensils, pots&pans, kettle, dishwasher etc.) Perfectly working WiFi. Easily accessible underground secured parking with a private lockable storage rooms for mountain bikes or skies. Lift directly from the underground car parking.

All this for a very competitive price.

Top floor (4th floor) has the best views, ask for the rooms located away from Hotel Upa (otherwise you overlook the run down roof and chimneys).

The Spa on the entire top floor (5th floor) is a must. It is not included in price of the stay but it is very affordable, brand new, clean and I dare say luxury for local standards. The No-Swimming-Costumes-Allowed rule (in unisex area) could be a bit shocking for British but I can assure you that nobody's checking people's naked bodies. It is simply the global sauna rules.

Rather than an average hotel consider this as a luxury rental apartments concept with the extras of having cleaner every day and a plenty of towel supply. There are no safe lockers in the rooms and no hotel phones and the concierge is not as you would understand within standard hotels however this place does exceed expectations.

Breakfast is not included but there is a great Cafe as a part of the complex and also a handy Intersport shop, both on the Ground Floor.

Fresh bread can be bought in a bakery opposite of Pecr. If on skiing trip do not miss the Kuhstall Apreski which is a chalet up in the mountains above Pec Pod Snezkou within the skiing complex (fairly easy to find) - house music, trendy people, food & drinks - hard to leave.

Fun. I love it and will be definitely returning any time soon.

Many 4* properties do not achieve real 4* standard unlike this appartment hotel in Pec. It is not a standard hotel but in many respects it works much better than expected. So far we consider this place to be the best in Pec by far.

Hotel is newly refurbished and rooms are clean and very spacious. The Spa is also very nice and offers nice selection of saunas however it is charged extra and time limited which makes it very hard to relax while using saunas and relaxing room. You need to monitor your time at all times and leave at least 10mins earlier to avoid being charged extra. Hotel also offers breakfast for extra charge which we once availed of. I must say that the standard of served breakfast was more like 1, max 2 star hotel. In any 4 star hotels I have ever stayed there was an option of ordering freshly fried eggs, omlets or other hot dishes. There was nothing like this in this hotel. There was no cake or sweet option to finish your breakfast neither. Travelling and staying in different hotels myself I must say that I have never came across such a poor breakfast in 4 star hotel.
Pecr hotel has a great potential however to match 4 star hotel standard they should improve their breakfast standard, include it in the room price which is already quite high. If they want to charge for Spa they should stop limiting stay to 90mins but charge per entrance and allow guests to relax and enjoy their Spa. In reality most people won't stay longer anyway but at least they can relax.

We picked this hotel due to the "good" reviews, but there are a few things I found sub standard while staying here.

The good: location to town and size of apartments. Parking underground.

The bad: when we checked in, we handed over our passports for identification and she informed me that my visa was not valid. First off, she was looking at a visa for another country I visited years ago. But more strangely, why was she scanning my visa????? The info page should have been enough and I didn't realize that the hotel also served as customs and border control.

We paid an extra 500 Kc for the queen bed that was advertised in the room (via booking) per night. When you advertise a room as having two queen beds, I expect both of them to be made and ready. Even if we were two adults, what if we wanted to sleep in separate beds (ie if we were friends and not a couple?!). Please also refer to my photo as to the state of the bed - you can see part of the sofa cushion, so if two people were to sleep on the second bed, one would sleep directly on the sofa cushion.

Breakfast is pathetic for a hotel of this level. They charged quite a lot for what you get. Even children aged 5 are charged 80Kc. Adults are 110Kc. I'd normally expect children 6 and under to eat free.

Also be careful if you open your windows. We had spider webs outside all of ours. Please see picture.

Firstly, yes it can be a little more expensive than most of the pensions/guesthouses... is it worth it!? YES! The rooms and hotel are designed and built to an incredibly high standard. So often you look at the hotel pics on websites and it looks amazing and you arrive, and it doesn't look half as good. This hotel looks every bit as good in real life as it does on the websites. We had the romantic package, very good value, prosecco on arrival, 4 course meal (although note - you can't choose what you have - it's preset - we were given Beef carpaccio, A starter salad, main of assorted cooked meat chicken, pork and local burger, and a trifle for dessert - very good though! oh and glass of sparkling wine). The private spa package is very special, and then discount to the spa by 20% outside of that - so around 180czk pp per 90mins. The outdoor jacuzzi in the spa is amazing, beautiful views of the mountains. The restaurant food is amazing, and very reasonably priced, in fact cheaper than a lot of the local places. Location is about as central as it gets, and a 15 min walk from the cable car up to the very top of Snezkou. Even though the weather was bad, we had an amazing time in this apartment - highly highly recommend it!

As we travel with two little kids, we found their 2 double King Beds setting for this 50m2 apartment very helpful. Additionally you get a sofa in the living room. Whole finishing and furniture are very new and good quality. The kitchen is well equipped so we were very able to prepare the breakfasts for ourselves (not included, you can buy in it from the bistro downstairs starting from 65CZK.

The parking is included with a place underneath corresponding with your room number. Reception is open till 8pm, but this is enough. Everybody there is very helpful and speaks well English (understanding also Polish). Comparing to previous only 4 star choice in Pec, Hotel Horizont, Pecr is MUCH better.

The apartments are new, modern tastefully furnished, clean, very spacious and well thought out. Two double beds, one of which is in the living room, are absolutely great idea, a much better solution than a sofa bed. Heated floor in the hall is also useful. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. Balcony with nice view, plenty of storage space. Breakfast is sufficient, a selection of hot and cold buffet. The food in the restaurant is delicious and you can order it to your room. Wellness is great, our kids really enjoyed the hot tub. The hotel is in an excellent location, the ski bus stops just a short walk away. The complex also has sports equipment for sale and rent, which we used. The only thing that was not perfect, it is WiFi in the room. It worked only on mobile, laptop instead. Good signal was only in the restaurant. But in the end - you're on vacation in the mountains, so why internet ;-)
