The pension is in a good location in Pec pod Snezkou, Krkonose. Rooms, bathroom are clean, shampoos, towels provided. Comfy bed, good view from the rooms. After returning from hiking we enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a good czech beer, and got indulged with an amazing, peaceful view. The staff was very friendly, helpful and with a smile. Pec pod Snezkou is a great point to start your trip to Snezka.
Therefore it is a pitty that the breakfast was very poor (luck of fruits and veg), no good tea or coffee, no eggs, no good bread, oats ... We even skipped 1day breakfast. in general the menu is very meaty and fried food including the side dishes. My personal experience: I ordered warm vegetable and I imagined some seasonable vegetable (it was summer) will play a main role in this dish, but I got 1/4 of a pack of frozen vegetable (carrot, cauliflower, broccoli) made it warm without any seasoning. We didnt have half board, only breakfast included. The half board for dinner usually consist of a soup and a traditional czech dish (roast duck, svickova, roast meat, dumplings,...) but since I am not a heavy meaty person I would enjoy light meat such as fish, more veg, fruits, nice marinated or grilled cheese,...

Staff friendly, though if you don't speak Czech it might go a bit slow, great locale, clean room. The food was OKAY, that's as much as I can say about that. But overall, I'd stay here again. For the money it's very good. Staff will go out of their way for you.

Should be great, but it wasn't. According to the reservation I should have 3 double rooms with 3 bathrooms. I had reservation via booking.com for 7 persons, but I had to change it to 6, so I contact booking and the owner. Owner called me back and propose to cancel this reservation and make new one directly with the same conditions. When I arrived I found out that I had different rooms and I heart: If you don't like them, you can go away, right now... (of course they made per-check for this reservation).
Two days later I had opportunity to talk with the owner. I asked why she lied me about the reservation...
I felt like stupid... My mistake, I should be more clever next time and my reservation was just great...according to the owner. No apologies...
And should make extra payment for the little dog...(of course, I didn't know about it earlier).
Place wonderful, mountains great, but do not go to this pension or have a reservation only by booking.com and others.

This was a great surprise for us to see that Czech accommodation for reasonable price could be managed by professional staff focused on perfect service. Clean room, experienced staff, nice cuisine, enough parking spots, kids and pets friendly - this makes the hotel exclusive. Carry on!

I am very happy that I chose this "penzion". It is modern and clean, the staff are very nice, helpful and friendly. The penzion is situated on the hill so the view is lovely from room windows or from the terrace available for the guests. The food is quite good- we chose to have breakfasts and dinners at 7 pm here. There is a small playground belonging to the house so my daughter was happy.
