Not much choice for accommodation if you're waiting for the ferry, but this turned out to be a nice little motel. The owner, Michelle, was super friendly, the room was a little small but clean, good and the bed was comfy. There's no breakfast, so you have to find a restaurant down the road.

This place is great. Comfortable bed, super clean and quiet. The owners are very nice and very helpful in providing information about what to see and where to eat etc. The location is very handy for exploring the island. I wish we could have stayed another night.

A very nice smaller motel style accommodation run by a charming couple. The rooms were clean and updated. Just met my expectations. There are only a few motels in this immediate vicinity and I think this is the best. Best to pre-book as the rooms go fast.

Wonderful place to stay for a few days, very warm and accommodating hosts, who seem to genuinely enjoy what they do and the people they meet. The property is clean, attractive, the room I stayed in clean, very comfortable bed, amenities one might find in a boutique hotel rather than an island motel ("fireplace" unit, spa lotions, etc). Michelle was...

Nice, clean, good sized room, great service. Would definitely stay again. Owner was very nice and helpful with ideas of places to see and eat while we stayed on the island. Only bad thing was no local places to eat.

This motel rates A+++. We couldn't ask for better service on check in. We were warmly greeted with a friendly smile when we showed up a little later in the evening. We were given some great suggestion on what to see on the island and aprox. how long it would take from there. All very helpful. When we entered our...

Manitoulin Island is not known for it's amenities. In fact it's hard to find a restaurant open at dinner time. But the owners of My Friends Inn have created a little oasis. This small little boutique motel is stylish and modern and very clean and quiet. It was the perfect home base from which to explore, bike ride and hike....

Spent two nights in a king room. Clean and comfy. Owners have done a great job in updating this motel and went out of their way to see we enjoyed our stay on Manitoulin Island. We recommend My Friends Inn with confidence.

Super clean, very friendly couple... what else can you ask for. The place was really nice, everything you need was there. Lots of tips from Michelle where to go and what to do... they even invited us for a "bonfire"! From Aug. 31'16 to Sept. 02'16... awesome stay, awesome experience! This place is highly recommended!

Very friendly welcoming owners. Room was small but it had everything we needed. Completely renovated and updated. Easy to find from hwy 6 South...signage excellent. We drove the island in the evening and the scenery was terrific. Rock cuts are spectacular..unique color. Worth the trip just for the drive.
