We don't usually choose KOAs for our camping stays because in general, we find we can get what we're looking for (quiet, clean, some amenities) at less expensive campgrounds. However, this July we found ourselves at the Sturgeon Falls KOA for 8 days because there aren't many campgrounds to choose from in the area. We'd read numerous reviews and all... More

We stayed at the Sturgeon KOA and it was great. We showed up a after check in and had to ring the bell. The lady was super nice (the owner). The washrooms and showers were the cleanest i have ever seen at a campsite. Will definately be back again this summer.

We turned up on spec at this campground about 4pm to an enthusiastic welcome from Geoff and Gina. The site was clean and well laid out, every pitch had full services including WiFi, could take a full size RV and the price was similar to all the other sites we visited but they had far worse amenities. The river front... More

Cruise Canada informed us about KOA-locations, and as we planned a stop in Sturgeon Falls, we chose for the KOA Campground. Only excellent performings here! * A very friendly and personal welcome - thank you so much, Gina * Good information provided, even without having to ask * Spacious camping lots, with all services included - and: you are guided... In the month of July we stayed in 13 different campgrounds! These owners were the friendliest, most sincere people we talked to on the whole trip. Check-in/out was a breeze and they even came back to make sure we had everything we needed. The kids were thrilled to see a trampoline and a slide that went into the river. During... More

I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I've stayed at tons of campsites but this will rank among the best. The campground was clean and well-maintained. Some of the buildings were fairly new. I asked for a quite campsite and we got a campsite on the far part of the campground that was far away from... More

We had a very nice one night stay at the Sturgeon Falls KOA on our way west from Quebec to Sault Ste. Marie. This campground was immaculate, with a fabulous playground. Our kids loved the trampoline. We would have liked to have tried the slide off the dock into the river, but it was chilly the evening we arrived. The... More

My husband and I have stayed in 5 KOA's this summer and this by far was our favorite. We stayed in the deluxe cabin which was clean, modern and comfortable. It had a loft and a double bed with a fold down couch. There was a mini kitchenette with a BBQ outside. It is situated on the River and has... More

We stayed here for 3 nights on our way to Nove Scotia. It's a fairly new RV park, so the trees are still small, and the best sites on the water are all long term units with decks etc. but the sites were large and level, and we had EXCELLENT wifi and satellite. What makes this place special are the... More

All sites are full service and offer water, sewer hookups and power. With a 50-slip marina in the middle of the campground, you can bring your boat along or rent one of the aluminum fishing boats.
