Yesterday, I was driving in horrible weather on my way to Ottawa. I couldn't find a hotel in North Bay with vacancy, and drove to the next little town, Mattawa. After a quick google search I found Le Voyageur Inn, and stopped in at the hotel to see if they had a room. They did,

I am a native of Mattawa; born here in 1958. The Mattawa House as it was known back then was a bit rough, not a place to bring your family. When visiting in the past we often stayed at Valois...clean but extremely outdated. When searching this time the pics looked like Valois

Dear value guest Thank you so much for taking time to write review for us and we are glad to hear that you have a good time at our inn. It is not easy to renovate the building that was built in 1881 and has not been renovated for 20 years but we try our best and we wish to see you next time. Thank you Sudawan

Excellent service. Clean. Incredibly friendly. Fantastic food. We also enjoyed that passes for the local gym were available through the front desk. We would definitely go back. Location is convenient to the trails.

The Thai cuisine is simply DELICIOUS! Definitely worthwhile to come here for dinner. We’re so fortunate to have this kind of cuisine locally. Looked at the other reviews and found a few to be quite amusing. No dog policy is good for those with allergies. This is Thai food made

Ordered Take out- they said come to pick it up in 45 minutes. I showed up 45 minutes later. Food was not ready. I’m still here 45 more minutes later and still don’t have my food. Manager won’t come out to talk to me, and will not give a discount.

Hi Jess Thanks for your review and sorry to hear that. When the restaurant is a full house (which is about 30-40 customers at the same time), we usually tell the customer it will take about an hour and a half (for takeout), and then let the customer decide. We always try our best. As a regular customer, you know that. However, whenever it is very busy, the manager always goes to help out in the kitchen, to help send out the orders as soon as possible. When the waitress told her that you want to speak with her, she refused to come out because that would delay the orders further, not because she did not want to talk to you. However, you decided to walk straight to the kitchen and saw how busy it was inside. We hope you understand that we value all customers.
