We stayed with Monique and Pierre for five nights in the Empire Room. Everything was perfect. It felt as though we were guests in their home, not like staying in a bed and breakfast! The room was very comfortable, well equipped and traditionally furnished. Breakfast was fantastic in the garden. We particularly enjoyed the many home made jams served with... More

This is the most beautiful place to stay for a taste of the 'real' France - and not the usual tourist fare. The house is beautiful, inside and out, and the rooms are absolutely amazing - you feel like you are a true guest of Monique and Pierre, and not just a customer. We stayed in the Empire room which... I think it has all been said before, but this is the perfect b&b. Monique is such a generous, kind and helpful host - she couldn't have done more for us. The breakfast is outstanding. All the home made jam, but also little dishes Monique had cooked. Dessert for breakfast, what a fine idea! All set in the lovely back... More

We have stayed in a number of chambres d'hotes and bed & breakfasts, but our stay at Monsieur Pierre's with Monique and Pierre was the best, and is worth 6 stars! The breakfast is outstanding - twenty different homemade jams one morning! Individual little pannacota, homemade cake and biscuits, fruit smoothies, bread, toast, cold meats, cheese, fruit - the selection... More

A superb place to stay. It has a lovely feel to it with antique furnishings, comfortable bed with antique linen sheets, good shower, amazing breakfasts, and Monique and Pierre are very hospitable and helpful. Our French is not exactly great, but Monique is a born communicator and speaks some English. We would not hesitate to return and we highly recommend... More

Found this by accident when looking for places to stay in Perpignan. Other reviewers speak highly of it and we were not disappointed. Monique and Pierre have created a welcoming home and the room we stayed in felt like a piece of France from days gone by. Great breakfast featuring Monique's home made jams. Worth visiting Lucate for it's pretty... More

We were so pleased with this Chambres d'hote we stayed an extra 2 nights. Monique and Pierre are excellent hosts, helpful in every way, nothing is too much trouble. Our room was beautifully furnished with period furniture and crisp white embroidered linen. The breakfast was far above what was expected. In brief; there was an extensive selection of homemade jams,... More

The Chambres d'Hote is centrally located in Leucate Village, located about 2 Kim's from the beach at Leucate Plage. Although on the main street the windows are sound proofed against traffic and the building dies not need air conditioning even during high summer. The bedrooms do have air conditioning though. The room we stayed in, for eleven nights, is called... More

Me and my husband spent 4 night in this lovely B&B.We really enjoyed our room and the hosts are most charming and accommodating people. Monic is so sweet and helpful and a great cook. The rooms are big, clean and cozy. Our bathroom was way beyond my expectations. It didn't feel like a B&B but more of a hotel. Many... More

Don't go here! You will never want to go to any other b&b again. Monique is a fantastic host providing everything you could ever want in the way of information on local attractions and places to visit. She also provides a fabulous breakfast with all sorts of nice homemade treats. Of course Pierre helps out. THIS IS SERIOUSLY THE BEST... More
