Lovely quaint hotel in the centre of the square. Parking at the back of the hotel for motorcycles or they have a garage and bicycles can be accommodated inside, they even have a drying room! Not suitable for folk who can't manage stairs. The reception is on the first floor, with a small bar, breakfast area and seating areas and... More

Perfect location in the centre of Barcelonnette (in the main square), clean and spaced rooms, great breakfast and staff super friendly. Prices acceptable. Private garage for our bikes close to the hotel. We stayed here two nights and strongly recommend this place.

Quaint old hotel set right in the middle of the main town square. We were travelling on motorcycles and were lucky enough to park right outside the back entrance. They do, however, they also have garage parking for bikes. Lots of creaky wooden stairs that add to the atmosphere, leading to mine host, who enjoyed testing out his English on... More

We were traveling on motorcycles and found this wonderful hotel in the downtown Barcelonnete. It was very nice and fronted on a large plaza. It had a parking garage for the bikes. The rooms was just the right size for us and was just remodeled. It was a older hotel with just right amount of good funk. There was not... More

It's right in a square in Barcelonnette, a small city on the Alps. When I saw the hotel from outside I wasn't exactly enthusiastic, but when I entered it, immediately felt a nice atmosphere, different from hotel chains. Besides, the room was very cosy, clean and the wifi worked perfectly. A bit overpriced, but for one night, it was a... More

A delightful room to stay in, bright and airy, with views out our window of the French Alps. Comfortable bed and terrific bathroom. Did get a little warm in the room at night but couldn't really open the window for long due to noise outside. Owner was pleasant on arrival but did get a little pushy on our checkout day,... More

A lovely change from the normal corporate hotels. Very friendly and in a great position in the centre of town. Free secure parking for our bikes and when I found I had a puncture before leaving the owner arranged with a local garage to get it fixed.

The hotel is ideally located to many restaurants and shops in the center of the village, and there is parking nearby. We stayed in room 33, which had two singles. The room was clean and modern, and there was plenty of room in the bathroom and a small area with a dining table. The beds were comfortable although we needed... More

We stayed here for 5 nights to ride the route Des Grande Alps. The hotel is situated in a small square with numerous bars and restaurants to cover all tastes. The hotel was clean and welcoming and the bathroom was spotless. The owner ( a keen cyclist and biker) was friendly and helpfull. There are 2 large garages for bikes... More
