Rooms are 'so-so', but the welcome is pleasant, the breakfast good, and it provides free parking and internet. It's a 400metres walk into the attractive town centre. Owner is happy to give you tips on local restaurants. Beautiful mountainous surroundings.

Very expensive for what you get. Tiny wc, musty bathroom. Light fittings screwed to a piece of wood used as attic cover. Would rather have a duvet than layers of dated covers on the bed. Soft furnishings just give somewhere for all the flies to sit on. Screw sticking up from the floor on runner & holes where old curtain...

Only stayed for one night, but we were made to feel very welcome. Room and bathroom was pleasantly decorated with a friendly feel and had lovely views from the front and back or the hotel. Good choice of breakfast although would have liked more than the one Croissant supplied. Barcelonnette village square was beautiful with a good choice of shops...

Very warm welcome by the host Pascal. Good recommendations for where to eat, and even made the reservation for us. Beautiful old building with lots of parking and a storage for bikes. Only a couple of minutes walk from downtown Barcelonette. Nice room, a little dated though very clean. Room has a nice little terrace to enjoy the sunset, the...

The good: Secure garage parking for our 2 motorbikes. This has all the looks of a grand old house, and the general ambiance of the hotel is welcoming. The gentleman on reception was charming and spoke clearly so that I could understand his french with my limited ability of french - then in the morning when he saw us off...

This town was really nice place! We only stayed for one night this hotel. It was wlking distance from the center of the town. Really good service even we didn't speak French and they didn't speak that good English, but that was not problem! I really liked the place and could stay here again. Room was really average, nothing special....

We stayed in this hotel one night on our road trip leg between Mote Carlo & Geneva. The hotel has seen grander times but it's nice clean & comfortable. It's a short walk into town that has plenty of shops bars & restaurant. We were there in August and there was live music in the square. The hotel was easy...

We spent 4nights here on a cycling vacation. The cycling was epic and the hotel was excellent. The rooms altough not large were very clean and interesting and the beds very comfortable. The best thing about our stay was the accommodating owner. I would stay here on future trips. The secure bike storage was also very handy for our group

Unfortunately only stayed the one night - very comfortable room, bearing in mind this is a grand old dame of a house rather than a modern chain hotel. Madame could not have been more welcoming when I arrived without a reservation. Her English more than adequately made up for my schoolboy French ! WIfi worked OK in the room. Plenty...
