We loved our time here - the gers were absolutely beautiful and the food fantastic. Our days were full as we checked out the area. (We booked a personal guide through Nomadic Expeditions which I would highly recommend. Muni did a wonderful job of showing us around and communicating the history and culture). With so much to do in the... More

The ger was beautifully decorated and very comfortable - ours had an adjoining bathroom which we had pre-requested. There looked to be around 35 gers. There are lots of insects around so pack your repellent. Food and beverages were very good. Staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English (I think they were mostly uni students on summer break).... More

The Gers are built on concrete with a connecting bathroom ger. You have running water so it's not exactly authentic nomad living from that perspective; in fact it is the ger equivalent of Glamping. Easy, comfortable and slightly disappointing from an adventure perspective but I guess if you're attracting less vigorous US customers, you have to pamper. It's the business... More

This accomodation far surpassed our expectations on creature comforts. We arrived late in the evening (due to delayed flight). It's is an hours drive from Airport in Dalanzadgad) across the grassy flat turrain. Although it was cool the night we arrived, the stove in the middle of the ger was not required. We were escorted to our ger (Genghis Kahn... More

This was a splurge for me, but I was really glad for having the experience. The property is a great spot in the never-ending Gobi. The gers are exceptional in terms of cleanliness, comfort, warmth, and amenities (I had one with a bathroom). There is a "clubhouse" where you can hangout on couches each evening and purchase a drink or... More

Much needed stop in the GOBI! Traveling in a group of four; we all loved the location, staff and sensibilities of the Three Camel Lodge! Local foods, solar showers and comfortable accommodation in Mongolian Gers (yurts) made for an amazing once in a lifetime experience!

This is a great ger camp in the middle of nowhere! The gers are comfortable. There are staff members that will come to stoke the fire whenever you want. The food is very good, so you will enjoy every meal you eat there! There is a little pathway that you can walk to reach a lovely spot on the mountains... More

I've been to many ger camps in Mongolia, but nothing compares to the Three Camel Lodge. It provides the best in service and accommodation. The atmosphere in and around the lodge is peaceful, quiet, and breathtaking. One of my favorite places in the Gobi is watching the sunset from Bulagtai Mountain, which rises up from the desert right behind the... More

This remarkable ecolodge is a unique cultural experience in the south Gobi. The central library/bar is a tasteful stone and wood building with books and videos about the natural history of the area. Lodging is in very comfortable gers. Recommend the deluxe double gers with attached stone bathroom. The restaurant ger provides very good food in a pleasant setting. The... More

I was leading a group of 23 on a week long trip to Mongolia. Chose the Three Camel Lodge for our stay in the Gobi Desert.
