Detailed Reviews
My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in super deluxe ger there. We did not expect that such a good place to stay would be available in Gobi Desert. The ger was very spacious, airconditioned and had attached personal bathroom and shower. The people took care of all our needs. We are elderly couple and have some diet restrictions. The young chef is unbelievable. He prepared special meals for our needs and did not repeat the same menu during any of the lunches and dinners. We enjoyed cold beer and wine too.

We stayed in 3 different luxury Gers, round traditional Mongolian tents, during our 2 weeks in Mongolia and this was our favorite. The Lodge has 3 levels of Gers, the lowest level are very good with clean separate toilet and shower rooms, the second are larger and better decorated with the same separate toilet and shower rooms, and the third, where we stayed, are super luxurious large tents with magnificent modern attached bathrooms with large shower. We ate in the main dining room and the chef is really wonderful. Highly recommend.

I stayed for three nights recently, in one of the top level (deluxe) gers (yurts), for 2 people. It was spacious, with lovely furnishings and an attached beautifully-appointed bathroom. The food was outstanding , and beer and wine were available. The Gobi desert location was convenient, within reasonable drives from the Dalandzadgad airport and Gobi sights (Yol Valley, Flaming Cliffs, sand dunes).

Stayed in a large ger with ensuite bathroom. Very roomy, one king bed, two chairs and a table for a sitting area, shelving to place your things, kettle. There was AC available, but we didn’t need it. The room had small, black flying beetles here and there, which wasn’t a problem for us, we just brushed them away. Food at the restaurant was vegetarian/vegan-friendly, and the staff was welcoming and some spoke English. Complimentary water bottles in the room and at dinner. This was a great place to stay for our first night in the Gobi.

My wife and I visited the lodge in September at the end of the tourist season. We stayed in the Super Deluxe Ger. It was spacious and BEAUTIFUL with an in suite bath, hot water, rain shower and the works. The food was so good that we had to call the young chef to compliment him in person. Service was excellent and they pay special attention to detail.
It must take a lot of effort to make thgis happen in the middle of the desert. I give them 5 stars + and strongly recommend.

It was an underwhelming experience. The lodge was advertised as luxury experience and it simply did not deliver. There is no restaurant as advertised just a kitchen that serves one kind of meal per session . No meal choice , if you have any allergies or diet limitation, such as vegetarianism or diabetic you are going most likely to go hungry. To get decent meal, we had to drive through the rough road one hour to town to eat in restaurant. Our Gear (Yurta) wasn`t very clean , carpets were loose , walls had obvious water damage stains, no daily room cleaning either. No furnishing in the room, only one side table by the bed. There was no place to sit on, no cattle to make coffee, no even simplest hospitality tokens provided. Our things were lying on the floor in open suitcases. Room wasn`t heated well and on second day our heater was taken away as" it was needed somewhere else more". Staff not really willing to help, we were denied possibility to upgrade room even though there were empty larger gear`s.
This lodge was my personal choice (against my agents advise). I was fooled by way the place was advertised, and I deeply regret my choice. It was very big let down.

Bed duvets and covers were full of bugs. Some of them were fallinf lg from up. Strong and strange odour outdoors like some chemicals. No silence time so even in 1 a.m. koreans students were partying, some drunk guests or workers (?) were playing table tennis etc without the management of the camp to be present. It could be a great stay but it turned an experience not to be happy for. Absolutely not suggested.

Loved every single moment of this 2 days private trip! Our tour guide Sarah picked us up from hotel & flew with us to Gobi. Driver Tuugii was waiting at the airport. We stayed at the deluxe ger, so we had private toilet & hot shower, Provided L’occitane shower amenities. The gur & bathroom was very spacious - double bed, two couches, table, two tools & shoe rack. Bed & pillows were comfortable & everything was very clean. All the meals were served on the table & 3 course meal portion/amount was right, food was good. They don’t provide bottle of water during dinner, if u need water either buy it from restaurant or bring it from car with you! Provided a clean, comfortable 4 wheel vehicle, Tuugii is very experienced, well mannered & friendly driver, he made the bumpy road drive as smooth as possible. We visited all places according to the itinerary. Sarah & Tuuggii was never late or never rushed during the trip, they arranged horse ride, camel ride, Nomad family visit, we felt very comfortable with them. Thanks to both of them for making it a happy journey for us!

Being in the Gobi Desert in July was exceptionally hot and we were very grateful to be upgraded to an Air conditioned Ger for part of our stay at the Gobi Nomad Lodge. The Gers were so comfortable and the restaurant food and staff were both excellent. Plenty of variety in the meals. Everything in the camp was tidy and very clean. We would recommend this Lodge to anyone visiting Mongolia in this area.

There are three styles of accomodations to meet everyone's needs and budget. We were upgraded to a Super Deluxe Ger with ensuite bathroom. It was a stunning space, as was the deluxe ger. With an outside area to sit and meet others, we had a most delicious visit. Close to the airport and near the Yol Valley and Singing Sands. Lovely staff as well .

Hello,
We serve vegetarian meals at our lodge. Liquors are available at our restaurant and lounge too. A glass of wine would be about $6. Bills can be paid by USD or Mongolian tugriks
Kind regards
