From the minute we arrived until we had to say goodbye, it was pure bliss. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our gorgeous room!! All I can say is VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS 😍 Not only did we have the most magical view but we had a fireplace which was lit and looked after by Shane until we got back to our room from dinner. The decor is stunning and have taken some tips for my own home one day! What did I like? I loved everything and wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Looking for something different , be in the open , fresh air , out of the rat race then Duikersdrift is the place to visit. Wine / mixed farm with very friendly donkeys, views of the mountains and a great farm to take you mountain bike and do a cycle. Venue for Parkrun so don the takkies for a Saturday morning run through the farm before breakfast. Farm style menu , average prices , very friendly staff. Furniture of the old years gone by which adds to the feeling of the venue. Food was very tasty and presented . Fresh ingredients and value for money. No need to rush so you can take your time and enjoy the surroundings. They also offer accommodation on the farm. Separate cottages .

Exceeded all expectations. The rooms are so tasteful with every small detail catered for. The restaurant is homely whilst still retaining sophistication with great food. The fusion between 5 star elegance and country living is matched by the great hosts and the unsurpassed beauty of the landscape. Well Done!

Seldom do you have the pleasure of visiting an establishment and it exceeding all your expectations. What a fantastic experience this was, the food was some of the best we have ever had (the curry deserves a special place on the menu) and the hosts couldn’t do enough to ensure we were looked after. We even got a tour of the farm and a lesson in the local wildlife - one of the highlights of our weekend!!

We were given the name of this restaurant from a competitor because on Sundays many of the places close at 3 pm.. It is about an 8 min car ride out of town, down a 2 km. gravel road. Great views of the mountains along the way. The main course menu is limited. We choose the 300 gm Rib Eye. The meat was cooked to perfection, juicy, flavourful, and probably the best steak on our trip. it came with a excellent salad and fries. The staff were friendly, helpful in what to see and do in the area. Atmosphere was very African. We loved this restaurant!
