This B&B is in a historically interesting building in a quiet riverside location with wonderful views, and is also very well-placed for all that the Ironbridge Gorge offers. The owners are welcoming and helpful whilst also managing to be unobtrusive - having the 'run' of the guests-only dining/sitting area, complete with tea, coffee, and wonderful home-made cake, is a great... Just returned from two nights at The Severn Trow - a group of three couples who were the only residents for the weekend. From arrivng until we left we felt that the accommodation was all about us - and making sure that we left feeling chilled and well fed. From the fresh scones, bread, blueberry muffins and Coffee Cake that... More

Very welcoming with lots of nice touches including free access to cake, biscuits, coffee and tea. Our room was nicely presented with ample storage and fresh flowers. Breakfasts could be as big as you liked with cereal and toast in addition to the cooked breakfast. Parking is on the road but it is a quiet side road so no problem.... More

We had a very pleasant one night stay at the Severn Trow, a lovely guest house in a beautiful setting. we received a warm welcome, it was my birthday so we arrived to a lovely fresh coffee and walnut cake. Breakfast was great, our little dog was provided with his own sausage and egg breakfast which was a lovely idea,... More

My husband and I stayed at the Severn Trow for 5 nights. Overall I would say that we had a good experience at the B&B. The breakfast is rather decent - as there are cereals to choose from and then a cooked breakfast as well should you choose. Plus we discovered cake set out for afternoon tea over the weekend... I'm honestly not sure how many times we've stayed at the Severn Trow now, but my daughter and I always love it. This time we treated ourselves to a couple of night's luxury after a camping trip, and it couldn't have been better. Our dog came for the first time, and was welcomed just as royally as we always are,... More

I have just returned from a three night stay at the Severn Trow and I will definitely be back. I received a very warm welcome from the owners who made me feel relaxed and at home immediately. They also welcomed my dog with open arms and allowed him to be part of the family (even providing something for him at... More

Our stay was very disappointing, and we will most certainly never stay there again. The fact that the owners, Ken and Sara, were not there really did not work for us - on our first evening we were left to our own devices, and found we could not connect to the wifi or make the tv in our room work.... I cannot begin to apologise for what sounds like an awful stay with us. I am so so sorry. Thank you very much for your courtesy when we phoned - I am not sure I'd have been so kind. As you now know we got married in June and were away for several weeks afterwards - we have in fact... More
