We unfortunately had 24 hours of non-stop rain and the dilapidation of the hotel proved its limits: infiltration in the glass roofs, flooded bar, flow through the ceilings in the bathroom with water running down the power sockets, water flowing from the light fixtures etc.. the establishment is in dire need of renovation, however the management is reactive in handling problems and apart from this very dated side everything is clean, the bedding correct (however small beds and very narrow duvet), the towels changed every day, the repetitive catering at the starters and very correct on the hot dishes. The all inclusive very wide in terms of cocktails (well measured!!!) a very wide choice, the spa very pleasant and the massages at the top. The beach is beautiful but deckchairs pay 10 euros per day, the sea is rarely calm, the waves are very present.....
The hotel swimming pool is beautiful, very large, clean, supervised, there are enough deckchairs. The neighboring town 20 minutes on foot or free hotel shuttle twice a week or taxis at negotiated prices and without surprises (this should be pleasantly noted). Uninteresting town of Primorsko, only shops for tourists. In terms of excursions, we only went to Sozopol after visiting Ravadinovo Castle, an astonishing place, the town still has old wooden houses, a superb chapel at the remains of the old town and a market for tourists where it It would be difficult not to find happiness there. Be careful, the euro is not king even if Bulgaria is part of the European Union, the currency is still in leva (around 1 euro = 1.95 leva) there are not that many merchants accepting the euro.. We returned yesterday my head was still in the great atmosphere of this place the season ends the animators being only 5 left but very invested in their way of making our stay as pleasant as possible, a big thank you to them, we will keep excellent memories of our stay and the inconveniences experienced will quickly be forgotten.
Enjoy your stay to the next vacationers
The Food was also pretty tasty and there was a decent variety and choices every day (the couple of last days were a bit samey but still very good overall), you should definitely try out their soups , they were amazing. The Pool size is great and the hotel is pretty close to the beach. There is also a Pétanque spot to practice and play if you would like.
My only minor complaints was the fact that the Wi-Fi is of not so great quality and you can barely get any connection if you are not in the lobby. The Billiards game is also pretty pricey (4 Bucks a game). The alcoholic drinks were of low quality and the coffee was just awful. There was also a minor miscommunication with the bartender but as I said those are some minor issues(except the coffee that needs more work).
The restaurant is filled with a unique smiling staff that energizes. The food is varied, especially in the themed evenings, which are worth attending.
The nature surrounding the hotel and restaurant is wonderful for relaxing on your vacation.
I was a guest during the French celebration, the decorations were great and so was the food.
It is worth to be a guest in this hotel.
Delicious themed dinners - mussels, snails, barbecued pork ribs, unique soups and donuts.
Large rooms enough for a family of 5 with a baby.
Negatives:
1. The pool is open only between 8AM - 6PM. Then it is forbidden to swim.
2. You can’t use any inflatables or toys. All restrictions are in the attached photo.
3. All furniture is damaged in some way.
4. There is mold in the bathroom. The photo is attached.
5. Our room wasn’t cleaned everyday. Only towels were changed. Even after we asked for it.
6. The staff do not speak English. If they do, they barely speak it.
7. The indoor spa or relax centre is small for few people. During our accommodation the jacuzzi didn’t work. The pool isn’t heated.
8. The gate on the bridge between the hotel and beach is closed at 9:30PM.
9. The surrounding area is full of garbage.
There are few hotel managers. We met
two. Soňa was rude and impolite. The person who doesn’t like her job and you can feel it. She threatened us to leave the hotel the next day because we were swimming in the pool outside the permitted hours. Although lot of people were in the pool unfortunately she chose us. She used words that aren't even used behind closed doors... Big minus.
Pros:
1. The cuisine was great and we loved the food.
2. The beach was near and beach chairs are free of charge.
There are have a wonderful pool and garden. The food in the restaurant is varied and very tasty.
Тhe staff is very kind and always responsive. Safety measures are observed by all staff.
My family spent an amazing and unforgettable vacation. We can't wait to visit you again!
