When we arrived we were immediately accommodated without having to wait until the 2pm. The lobby looked clean and nice and all the guys at the reception desk were polite, usually smiling. Could understand czech a bit (perhaps russian), bulgarian, and they could somewhat communicate in english. The hotel has a wi-fi connection only in the lobby but there is a number of comfy seats available. It also has a room with darts, billiard and table football. The room. Bathroom clean and modern, although the light was unsatisfactory. The brihtness was quite low and you could see almost nothing in the shower. Balcony adequate to the room with 2 chairs. The furniture looked quite new - there was a big wardrobe, some hooks for coats, and a shelf for shoes, a big mirror, 2 nightstands with 1 drawer each, 2 pouffles with a round table, a rectangular table with 1 drawer, minifridge and a small telly. The bed, however, was not very satisfactory for me - I could feel the spring. The pillows were soft and fluffy but do not take the cover from it - it is all yellow (probably from sweating). We found blankets in the wardrobe and the bedsheets on the bed - a bit queer, if you ask me. However, you don´t really need a blanket in this location. The carpet was awful - stained and at the entrance to the balcony worn thin - you could see the concrete underneath. We stayed for 11 nights and the sheets were changed once and towels twice. The emptied the bin every day as well as putting a new toilet roll in the bathroom. That is all the cleaning we noticed, but they probably cleaned the balcony too - because the little sand we brought on our towels was usually gone. The swimming pool was great. It has a paddling pool for kids and a whirpool. It is also quite large and the sun shone on it almost all day long. The breakfast was usually satisfactory. Hot drinks (coffee, cocoa, tea,..) from a machine and 3 types of other drinks - water, and two squash "lemonades" which were terrible - you could taste the artificial sweetener in it. Although there wasn´t an appropriate number of glasses or cups - they were refilled regularly - but sometimes there was nothing for even 10 minutes... No choice of bread - only 1 type, but fresh, small pots of honey and jam (not great), butter, sometimes a cake, usually 2 types of fruit (mostly nectarines and plums). Then you could find 2 types of cheese (white and salty (very yummy) and yellow sliced), cucumbers and tomatoes, salami, sausages, fried bread, pasta with cheese, some pastries I couldn´t identify, sunny-side-ups OR scrambled eggs and that is basically all. Not enough seating. You could find a place when it opened (8am), and then in 20 minute intervals. Make sure you find a table sooner than putting food on your plate. If you do it the other way around, it may well happen, you won´t find a place to sit. Once we came later - around 9.20 and there wasn´t much food left. Considering it should be opened until 10 - poor. We ate another meal in there only once (late lunch) toward the end of our stay and we got diarrhoea from it - we are sure it was from there, because it was the only food we shared that day. The location was quite good, not so far (5min) from the northern beach and close to the centre of the town.…
