Definitely not a five star hotel. The cards for the doors were not working, the elevators were out of order most of the time, food was horrible - breakfast: old vegatables, meat, which was more like a dog food, water-like coffee, etc. Lunch and dinner were the same. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. I would give it two stars the most.

We stayed in Grand Hotel Primorsko 8 days and today we arrived at home, so we have got a fresh information:-) This hotel is the most modern building in Primorsko and when you stay in front of hotel, you must say wow, it must be superb holiday in this hotel, but opposite is true. Hotel Grand Hotel Primorsko has got nice and luxury rooms and good location, but this is the end of possitive rate. Absolutelly terrible is food, restaurant and also staff on restaurant and lobby bar. On lobby bar is some waiter, I called him boxer:-), he was 100% unfriendly, he never look at us, when he operated us. There is also dirty restaurant with unable staff, food is every day the same, hotel incl all inclusive, but we eated outside of hotel, this is not food and restaurant coulture of 5* star hotel. Drinks in plastic cups, paper napkins, untidy cloth, ...
In Primorsko are others hotels to saty nice holiday, but not in GHP and I think, there is better to stay holiday in pension without food, becose there is great to eat on the street.

My worst vacation, and I managed to find out in 24 hours on the territory of this "5 star" hotel. The food is bad and cold, the same every day! There are no parking spaces! The hotel is not on the first line, to get to the 30 umbrellas on the beach, you have to walk 15 minutes! There is no beach bar from the hotel. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, IT IS AWFUL!

Excellent location - only 100 meters from the dunes. Big rooms with Big beds. Clean and big pools, delicious food. Own Beach. Very polite staff. 5 minutes away there is Aqua Park. Great place for children and their parents. Beautiful beaches

If you read Wendy M's & Kath J's reviews you will get a very good idea of what this hotel was like, but let me tell you they are being very, very polite. The food was awful, very limited choice and it was always cold and greasy. The staff were very offhand, often rude and very tip orientated. I was informed once that "No tip, no drinks", now this might have been said in jest, but as they have no discernable sense of humour i don't think so. Often when asking for a drink we were informed that they had run out. On every occasion i would ask to see the manager and l and behold the drink in question would appear. We were told by a member of staff that on our second week the hotal was going to run out of food - this didn't happen but i know they were desperate for money. The hotel phone was cut off because of an inpaid bill - i tried to dial out and got a message in English informing me of this fact - 5*(?). Don't go!

This hotel it lovely.... cant fault the rooms or pools!
But I would not suggest any British to go there, the hotel staff cannot speak a word of English. This can make ur stay very stressful as it was even hard to order drinks sometimes never mind ask for advise at reception.

Food is.... German/Polish style, not really my kind of food. Shame there was no plain options like chicken or chips.

The hotel is good, but not five stars deffinetly... its still whole in recovering... the food was not for five stars... the main bar on the main road is with only one bartender... the best thing in the hotel is the animation team, the boss of it is Milena-sweet and nice girl... the worst thing is that the animators dont live in the hotel and its very hard for them to come three times a day... we home something to change...

There are no words in the dictionary that can explain the disappointment of that hotel. First: it's not 5 stars it is so clear and obvious,I wouldn't give them more than 2. Second: the food was BAD,no variety what so ever, or undercooked and manly stew kind of food,(who want to eat that when is 30degree C outside?).Third: The AC in the restaurant was never ON,the staff..( Oh my!), gloomy ,rude and uncooperative. Rooms were god, stylish kind of looking and clean, but for the 10 days that we were there not even once we had shampoos or conditioners,(always had to ask for these). We liked the pool, but not enough umbrellas. For the stay I heard probably 7times that the coffee and water machines are out of order "How convenient" it was frustrating! Oh and if you want to have a cocktail after hours you have to go outside of the hotel in the city of Primorsko because everything in the hotel is closed by 11pm, not to mention that they have one bar with bartenders with no knowledge of simple cocktails. My family screeched that destination" Primorsco" out of the vacation map!

A nice start then it went downhill, the hotel is very nice but not 5 star, rooms are good but the cleaner was not so good (same long hair and piece of toilet paper at the side of the toilet when we arrived till we left no cleaning products used for the two weeks we stayed). The hotel and local bars/shops and beach where in the process of closing down for the winter therefore we had no entertainment /bars closing /night club closing /the food was getting less/running out of drinks. Most days we had to really demand what the hotel said was on offer when we booked. Most of the staff where really nice, the ones who could speak a little English where far better than those that did not not.On our first day we had a tip box thrust into our faces which we did not like (we always tip at the end of our holiday) Things got worse when we found the telephone system did not work and enquiries where told the hotel had been cut off for non payment of the bill. One evening there where no vegetables and we later found out the delivery truck would not drop them off because there was no money to pay for them. This is probably the worst holiday we have had having been to Bulgaria before in a 4 star hotel (The Arabella in golden sands which was brilliant )It will not deter us from going again to Bulgaria as it is i lovely place to holiday but not to this hotel.
