We tried for the first time Primorsko and the Ropotamo Maisonette. Here, maisonettes are small cottages with ground floor and attic. The ground floor is an open space arranged with a double bed and a sofa and the attic are two single beds and a sofa bed. In principle, a family of 5-6 persons can be accommodated without problems. The bathroom is between floors with direct access from the staircase leading to the attic. Boiling water at discretion (is a large electric boiler), shower great but cabin lacks a glass wall and with all the care, on every shower on bathroom floor full fill of water. Obviously, mop, sweep, nothing there. Towels changed every two days, bed linen once a week, large beds, comfortable mattresses.
Air conditioning upstairs and downstairs, functional and efficient and even necessary because the air is very humid inside. Smell of damp could not be removed from room even with a professional freshener.
The so called kitchenette area ... does not have a sink!? You have to go into the bathroom to wash a cup of coffee or tea, in fact the only things that you can prepare in the room - the total lack of pots, pans. There no microwave. It was a kettle so you can make a cup of coffee or tea. On all inclusive, everything served at the restaurant in the center of the complex. The distances shown both on site and at the agency are easily "styled" in the sense of diminished! Maisonette Ropotamo are somewhere back in the forest, from them to the restaurant are 3-4 hundred meters. From restaurant are still around. 200 meters to the beach. No one makes all lanes trails for a drink! All-inclusive is actually a more generous full board, have no added benefit.
The restaurant is great, had no trouble finding a table and we were two families with four guys, so 8 people and ate together every time. Foods were excellent, varied and rich with barbecue and fish every day, salad vegetables and many fruits, ice cream. In total contradiction with food were liquids, such as juices and drinks for adults.
Juices horrible dispenser, washed-out, no taste, the lowest category (E 100%), served in disposable plastic cups. The glass of the same quality as the content: the harder you grasp it in your hand the faster cracked. Bulgarian spirit drink but the worst quality (we drunk "Bulgarian" in the past and was great to ones served here). Sadly, on bar was not possible even with money to buy something to drink! In the whole complex there was only one little store at Forest Beach hotel where you could buy a soda, crisps or cigarettes but at prices much exaggerated ...
There are playgrounds for children and entertainment program both day and night. There are two pools, one right restaurant building and one on to the sea. The first is big, beautiful, crowded and heavily chlorinated. It has a hydro massage side, interesting and even pleasant; all activities (aerobics, games etc.) happen in this pool. Loungers surrounding the pool deal quickly, but there is a little rows back directly on the pitch. On the second pool was no one, was full of sand and I have not seen someone doing clean there.
The beach is public, broad and sandy. In fact a large open bay, full of waves, forest and cliffs on one side and sand and sea on the other, awesome!
As a general impression, we liked. Still has an air of half-hearted, a bit overgrown. Staff pretty apathetic and bad trained, none foreign languages. From the reception they gave us only the key without any guidance. No information about complex, where can you go, what the all-inclusive incudes where you sit or were you eat. There was not even a paper with that information. The official ranking of complex (it was a sign on reception building) is 2 star and not 3 or even 4 how shows some agencies. In conclusion it is a pleasant place with greenery, trees, squirrels, birds song etc. but still a hit for active people, who like movement, willing to accept the crowds and bustle in a resort without large claims.

We (3 adults and 2 kids(age 2 and 5)) visited Villas Ropotamo Maisonette in the mid of June on all-inclusive base.
Location: quiet place in the forest; 2min. from the pool/restaurant; 5min from the beach.
Villa: clean but moisture; TV, small fridge, AC both on 1st and 2nd floor; nice mattress; towels - 3days; no mop/broom, microwave.
Food: nice surprise - excellent! Bbq, fresh salads, soups, fish, some vegan dishes, desserts, fruits. Professional organization of the service in the restaurant - no big queues, tasty, enough food qty...
Drinks: only local budget brands + post mix.
Animation: a team of nice young animators; various games and program for the kids also; dances, sports: water polo, beach volley, aerobics. Good job, guys!
Facilities: 2pools (by the restaurant and by the sea), children pool and playground available also, Wi-Fi in the pool/restaurant area
Beach: Sandy; clean water

At first I was shocked - the room smelled like moist, there was mould in the bathroom and the kitchenette looked poor. But with good organisation and some cleaning I quickly stop noticing this and started enjoying our stay.
The location is actually a big advantage - we were with a 1 year old baby/toddler and being in the shade of the trees allowed us to spend a lot of time outside. Even the hottest part of the day felt pretty nice on the porch.
The other grate thing - a vast and clean beach is only a 5-10 min. walk away from the villas. With a child, so young and with all the stuff you have to take to the beach, a long distance to walk may be a killer. So we were really glad that going to the beach was so uncomplicated.

So, despite the rather poor cleanliness these villas are great, if you have kids and like to enjoy a quite holiday.

The bungalows, which are also part of the complex are basic but with everything what you need TV and small refrigerator. The humidity is very high and this is one of the disadvantages of the complex. The biggest one is the mosquitoes. They are everywhere and nothing can help you. We tried with electric antimosqito things but without luck. The spray is also useless. But whatever the best thing is the beach. The free part of the beach is quite big and quite. The sea at that time was quite calm. The food in the restorant is delicious.

Poor conditions in bathroom,broken tiles,
horrible odor of mold and sewage that is hard to stand and the bathroom door was broken and impossible to close.
Change of towels - once during the 8-night stay.
Food - every day the same menu and the quantity of everything - quite insufficient. People are fighting for food, which is ridiculous and humiliating.
Advice - the best place to choose for stay in MMC Primorsko is the hotel - Forest beach. The food, though is not good.
