Spent 10 days at this hotel and i would like to recommend this facility for its service, cleanliness, excellent location and affordability. The hotel has parking capability at no cost and is located 50 meters away from bus stations leading both ways of Pitz Valey. Arrieved at reception I had a very friendly and hospitable welcome. Information and imediate support was provided by Alex and the charming hotel manager who are approachable and ready to point you in the right direction. The hotel is well maintained in all areas satisfying highest higene standards. The restaurant is well set-up and organized, with a diverse and exceptionally well prepared menu. The service is very friendly and professional where i would like to recommend Balasz, Karolin and Dominika. Menues include dishes for children and vegetarians. Rooms are sufficiently large with free wlan, tv, and a cleaning team which is doing a great job leaving no room for complaints. This facility includes also at no extra cost two swimming pools, one for families with children and one with sauna for relaxation. There is a massage saloon offerings a various qualified program. The hotel is offering guided trips in the surrounding mountains with a highly qualified and experienced mountain guide, Huber. The hotel is pet friendly and for handicapped persons compatible. Overall 11 points out of 10 ! Had a great stay and I will definitely go back to visit.…
we stayed in summer for a week. this hotel is in a great location, 45 mins to Innsbruck one way and 45 mins to the glaciers the other. Lots of walking trails on the doorstep and a lovely outdoor pool/lake in Wenns for only 4euros. the hotel was clean and friendly, but the rooms let it down for us. we opted for a standard room as we wanted a balcony (some of the newer rooms have glass doors only). There is no air-con, and the rooms do get very warm, had to sleep with doors open. The rooms are dated, old furniture, faded carpet. bathroom from the 80's. very lumpy pillows. but it was very clean, although our towels/bedding wasn't replaced in the 7 days we stayed there. no toiletries provided. we were lucky and had a balcony with a partial view of the mountains, but some of the rooms are not so good, I'd request in advance. breakfast and dinner included, food good, lots of selection. although dinner is served 1800-1930 which was far far too early for us when the sun sets very late, and we were out and about. we missed dinner a few times. they were strict on the times too, 1930 and the food is taken away!! drinks quite pricey 3.50EUR for a bottle of water!! everything is in German, we used an app to translate the menus etc otherwise it was a stab in the dark. some staff spoke a little English. Overall, a nice, friendly, place to stay, but don't expect anything fancy, it's very basic. I wouldn't pay more than the £90p/night which we paid (incl food). The region is lovely and we really enjoyed our trip. A car is essential for seeing everything. there are lots of buses, but you can't beat the freedom of your own transport.…
Old rooms and very uncomfortable due room temperatures too high "everywhere", food below average and just warm. Towels left on the floor for changing were hung back up!!! Family member's room left unlocked all day. Male bar manager totally unfriendly! Sorry but never again!
Friendly staff, good service and excellent value for money. The hotel is nice with two pool and sauna areas (one for adults only). The location is easily accessible by public transport that also connects well with the ski areas. Very nice stay over Xmas.
If you want to visit the Tyrol, the Alpina Natura in the little town of Wenns, in Austria. The hotel has some good points, other not so strong, but the average for me is a 4-points. Why? food is fantastic, really good, gourmet chef creating nice dishes and very tasty ... maybe, the selection that they prepare for the kids' menu at night could be improved. Also, the play-room downstairs in the basement for children really, REALLY needs an improvement immediately. BUT, on the positive side there are many things: the pool is great, the sauna also, the relax area as well ... then you're very conveniently located to visit the Pitzal valley ... they also provide you with a free-bus of the local network which is very good ... yes, overall, excellent price-quality ... staff at the reception very friendly ... special tip for the kids: the Tarranz Witch Path !!! kids will love it and you will enjoy nature ... just some minutes away ...…
Our suite wasn't really decorated or furnished to 4 star standard, but to get 2 decent sized separate bedrooms each with en-suite for a family of four at the price we did is pretty good value. The rooms may not have been plush, but they were immaculately clean. The food is what you would expect in Austria. Four courses with 3 main course choices (1 vegetarian) and a well stocked salad buffet. Children have their own option each evening. Breakfast is a buffet with a pretty good selection. There is soup laid out for anyone who is around at lunchtime and there is an afternoon tea snack at 4pm. Tea and soft drinks are available free throughout the day. The bar area is nice and quiet with reasonably priced drinks. The swimming pool is a bit like the bedrooms. It could do with a bit of a spruce up, but is warm, a decent size and kept clean. We didn't use any of the other wellness facilities. There is a kids playroom which seemed to keep our children occupied in the evenings. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They don't get a lot of English guests, but made every effort to make us welcome. The ski area at Hochzeiger is reached by the ski bus that leaves from directly outside the hotel. The bus takes about 20 minutes. The hotel has a number of ski lockers at the lift station which takes a lot of hassle out of the journey. You use your lift pass to lock/unlock the locker and it costs 1 Euro per day to have it added to each required lift pass. The ski area is good for all but novices and extreme skiers, as there really aren't any easy pistes to progress to and all the pistes are groomed which means it isn't good if you want moguls.…
Nice hotel but for sure not 4 stars. Our room was outdated : poor tv, bathroom very old condition, beds need repair , some light were not working , wellness was ok but also overhere some repairs need to happen on showers. Food was good but you need to come on time as otherwise the salad bar is empty and not refilled, dito for the children buffet. Personel is ok and friendly. Location excellent to explore pitztal. To conclude we had a very noce stay in alpina but not in a 4 star hotel more 2,5 to 3 star . Price is correct value . A pitty with some small changes this can become a better hotel (4star)
Unfortunately just an overnight stay while travelling through, certainly worth a longer stay. Bright entrance and bar. Upgraded without question to a beautiful room with view looking up the valley from the bed, or the bath! Meal was excellent value, good choice and well presented. We were relaxed about breakfast, so choice was diminishing but still wide, normal alpine range. Hotel is in the village on the main road, with ample parking, this is a quiet road after the skiing rush. Definitely reccomend
