Having just returned from 2 weeks A/Inc at this lovely hotel we want to praise highly everyone from reception..cleaner's.. bar..restaurant and any other staff who made our stay 100% brilliant. We stayed in suite 313 and it had everything we needed and more! Our room was cleaned EVERY day by very lovely ladies ( sorry don't know names but one had a New York accent ! ) 1st class cleaners ! All Reception staff were so helpful & kind and went over & above to help with everything ! Bar & restaurant staff were all really really good ....especially Spiros on the main bar & restaurant manageress who was on the ball all the time !!!! Food was plentiful & good if sometimes not quite as hot as we would like ...but ...we understand the procedure of preparing for large quantities...but ...a microwave was available if we wanted it ! The hotel has lots of steps & a steep hill down to main road to shops & bars ..so..think twice if you have walking problems !!!! Overall a lovely welcoming hotel ..good food...good staff ...and would definitely return again :-)

We actually were booked at hotel Amalia, a sister hotel of Hotel Magna Graecia. We only found out upon arrival at the airport that the booked hotel closed. We wanted to stay in a small hotel in the first place and as we saw the building of Hotel Magna Graecia we were skeptical, but the staff at the reception were so nice and understanding, they made us feel comfortable, saying "you will enjoy it here". They assigned us a quiet room with a nice view and indeed we enjoyed our stay. The staff at the restaurant were also very nice. I wish to emphasize the kindness of the two cleaning ladies, always courteous and very thorough in the cleaning. there is one thing that needs improvement, however, i.e., the diversity of the food. Being on an island, we expected more fish and seafood, but this was not the case. There was always one fish option, but it could have been more. The buffet for the starters is excellent and so is the buffet for the sweets. Also, we expected more fruit, but there was every single day only two types, water melon and honey melon. This could improve.

Thank you for sharing your impressions and for praising our staff. We are glad to know that your overall experience in our hotel was pleasant. Concerning the fruit at the buffet there were also apples and oranges and grapefruit and kiwi in the morning meal but your comments will be taken into consideration as we are eager to please our guests. We will be delighted to have you here again soon.

Thank you for your kind remarks concerning our staff and the food. We are content to know you had a pleasant and comfortable stay in our hotel. Live entertainment is commensurate with the number of guests and it is late season. We would be happy to welcome you here again perhaps at an earlier date.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We regret that your expectations were not met but certainly the hotel cannot be held responsible for the age groups that arrive during late season. In addition please try to realise that animation has been restricted to what is solely required by greek law after Covid. We offer live music entertainment three times per week and we have greek dancers every week but we have to abstain from activities involving a big number of people. The island is full of attractions. Unfortunately a hotel cannot cover all your entertainment needs. You must explore and organise your daily itιnerary to get the most of the islands beauties and attractions.
