I’ve just returned from the hotel after staying there for a week on a tennis holiday. It was brilliant from start to finish. We had a sea view bungalow and the view was simply stunning. Food in the restaurants was of a great standard and the staff were always very friendly. They catered for your every need. Special shout out to Lilly, the cake lady, so friendly and always so helpful when you’re trying to pick from amazing selection of macarons, cakes and cookies - Yum! Beautiful beach area with plenty of sun beds. Highly recommend the crepe bar for amazing ice creams! Two little issues we found was service could be slow at times in the main bar & the pool bar at busier times and the floor in our room although it was swept daily it could do with a mop every other day or so as made feet very dirty once you came out of the shower. Even so this did not ruin our holiday and has not stopped us from rebooking for next year. Can’t wait to be back!!

From the minute we entered the reception to be met by a wonderful receptionist who explained where everything was. We went to our room 601 which was lovely. The location, view and size was great the only thing which would have made it perfect would have been to have a bath in the bathroom yet the shower was nice. The buffet breakfast had a good selection but I didn’t think it was that good what made it was the staff as they were all amazing. The pool was lovely and we did not have a problem getting a sun bed each morning. I think that was because the school holidays had ended. We had no problem getting booked into all the restaurants as I pre booked using their app a week before. Our 1st night we went to the Hot Stones - this was very nice and when I read the mixed reviews I was a little hesitant yet all I would say is if you can cook you will have a lovely meal and if you can’t it will be the worst restaurant as you are cooking your own food. They have a good selection of wines and the staff were amazing. The next night we went to the Gattopardo again the food, wine and staff really made the evening special. The next night we ventured out of the hotel to an amazing restaurant called the Squirrel Restaurant it is about 10 minutes by taxi and the food was out of this world as well as the hospitality but you need to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. The following evening we went to the Tavernaki the staff were fantastic yet to me this was the restaurant I was disappointed with as due to it having traditional Greek food I thought that this would have been the best yet it wasn’t. The location was beautiful down on the beach and you could get a buggy to drop and pick you up which was great. Our last night we went to the Asia Oliva again by the beach this by far was my favourite restaurant and made our last night perfect. I would like to say a very special thank you to Stathis who was amazing as well as Mr Kostas the F&B Manager who made our stay extra special, I would also like to mention Spiros, Katerina, George, Ksenia, Athina, Kostas, Aggeliki and Eva who looked after us in the various restaurants. The beach is lovely and so is the location. What really made this hotel is definitely the staff we had the pleasure to meet.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, with a nice pool with sunbeds and parasols and a walk down a steep hill to the lovely beach with plenty of sunbeds, either right on the waters edge or amongst the trees. A Beach bar and an Ice cream/waffle parlour are also down by the beach. There were free water sports, paddle boarding, kyaking and pedalo's. The food in all the restaurants was great and there was an extensive range of drinks to accompany it. Particularly enjoyed the Asian Fusion restaurant and the Fine Dining restaurant. I would recommend booking prior to arrival as these restaurants are limited. What made the holiday so amazing were the friendly helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and they all loved their work which really showed. Special mentions to Christos (sous maitre) Athina, Aris and Sathis !! Would highly recommend

My son is a vegan and the buffet restaurant manager (Christos) treated him like royalty. He had specially made dishes for most meals that were served to him, even in the buffet restaurant. I will say that this was in addition to all of the amazing fresh salad dishes, condiments, pickles, freshly cooked vegetables and fresh fruit platters that were available at every meal time. We have been to a few 5 star all inclusive resorts and the quality of food on offer at this hotel is superior. We also enjoyed the four a la carte restaurants (particularly The Tavernaki Greek restaurant). The patisserie chef even made vegan treats for him on a daily basis. Yes, there are wasps but you will not be bothered by them if you are able to eat your evening meal after dark (around 8pm at this time of year). The burning coffee granules help and you could bring a portable fan to the table if you have to eat during daylight hours. Yes, the bathrooms in the hotel could do with some very minor cosmetic work but the bedrooms in the main building are lovely. We were on the 3rd floor and had a wonderful view of the bay and mountains. Contrary to a previous post, the main pool was supervised all day by an agency lifeguard who took great pleasure in interacting with the children. The pool is 'refreshing' and although I can see that it could get busy at certain times of the year, it was lovely and quiet during our stay. From the moment we stepped through the hotel doors, we could tell that the staff really cared about our needs and happiness. They greet you so warmly and seem genuinely interested in helping you to have the best holiday possible. We have never experienced service like this and commend the management and all of the hard working, kind and professional individuals that we met. To add some context, we visited 'Grecotel Eva Palace' for a dip in the pool and for some drinks. The attitude and level of service fell starkly short of Daphnila Bay so perhaps Grecotel should find out how Daphnila Bay are so successful and get them to train all of their other hotel staff! Thanks again, Christos. You deserve much of the credit.

The setting is beautiful, very pretty beach with plenty of sunbeds and shade and calm water. The beach is down a steep hill which may be a problem for some although there is a shuttle bus. I liked the option of the a la carte restaurants. The food was particularly good in the Asian and Greek. The hotel staff are lovely - very helpful. I went on a tennis holiday and the hotel has plenty of courts. I used the water taxi into Corfu town - only 20 minutes.

We had a fantastic holiday here. Nice rooms, excellent food, big pool. The beach is a two-minute walk down a hill to a beautiful bay with clear water where you can have an excellent buffet lunch by the water. I'd say the buffet was better overall than the a la carte restaurants. There's a greek restaurant right by the water with stunning views which is nice. The Asian restaurant by the water is ok and again made by the views of the bay. I didn't personally like Hot Stone. Eating off a searing stone I found a bit gimmicky and stressful. There's a little kids club by the beach and some fun stuff for them to do (inc mini-disco) although it's not overbearing, so you could go without kids and have a relaxing time. And there are some fun watersports like pedalos, kayaking, and paddleboarding included. All the staff at this hotel are BRILLIANT. Friendly and always keen to help. Would defo recommend this place as a relaxing family getaway.

A family of 6, aging from 79 to 4, all happy! Stunning view, great service, fresh food and clean comfortable rooms! Some guests were ridiculous complaining about dated deco etc; some fixtures looked a bit dated but still in perfect working condition. Do we really need to change everything once it looks a bit old??? Think about environment! The guy makes crepes works incredibly hard; he made a crepe for a guest once and there was a tiny hole on the edge and the guest demanded another one!!! Someone made a formal complaint to the manager about a salad being served without dressing. Really??? Could you just ask for some dressing? Shocking! Great exercise classes at the hotel by the beach is a must try! Great trainer! I really hope everyone staying there will be kind to the staff! And focus on the positive!
