This is a very good hotel, part of the Dyuni Royal resort. I am amazed that no one wrote a review about it. I stayed here three times and this year (a shorter visit this time) was excellent as well.
The hotel is a little bit away from the beach, around 400 metres. But this is not a problem, as you walk to the beach on a very nice pavement with green area around. The hotel restaurant is an open air style, you can see the sea and the hills. The food is ok, it was better in the previous years, but is still very much eatable.
The rooms are facing the green area in the back or the sea in the front (but you can see a part of the sea front only from the upper levels). Pretty good size rooms. Last year we had a junior suite, big one, this year we had a standard room, that was close to the main ventilation or AC system and it was a little bit noisy. Otherwise, the rooms are quiet, but it also depends on the neighbors (the walls are thin). The wi fi was not free.
The green area surrounding the hotel is well maintained, also the alleys to the Holliday village villas. The staff is well trained. I can say that we enjoyed our stay at Belleville Hotel, we liked it much more than Pelican, Marina Beach and Marina Royal.

Duni is probably the best resort for a family holiday with children on Bulgarian sea cost. It is not so over-crowded like the other sea resorts in Bulgaria and it offers combination of green nature with beautiful spacious sand beach, swimming pools, water slides, tennis courts, amphitheater with lovely animation program etc.
The sea beach is large, with very fine sand and shallow water.
Duni is a closed all inclusive resort - and it makes it perfect for family with kids. The teenagers can be free to exercise various activities within this closed resort (it's secure) and they can consume food or drinks freely.
The resort consist of a huge green park, holiday village - with houses and streets, three 4-star hotels and one 5-star hotel.
Belleville Hotel would be probably one of the best choice, but it doesn't have enough apartments for families and the majority of the rooms are for 2 people only - hence you must be very lucky if you manage to get a family apartment in Belleville (they are lovely).
Normally we don't repeat a summer holiday in same place - but with this hotel we made an exception. The thing is that every year the vacation in this resort might be different. Last year (2016) they opened a new Aqua-park with additional swimming pools and water slides - very close to the all-inclusive restaurant "Sozopol" and close to Belleville hotel. The Italian restaurant is in Belleville hotel itself. The traditional Bulgarian restaurant "Mechana" is also close - it's above the restaurant "Sozopol" and the Wunder-bar. The amphitheater is just next to Belleville hotel - hence this hotel has the best location for quickly going to the room late in the evening, after the animation program has finished, or from the disco in the Wunder-bar or the new bar at the Aqua-park.
All other hotels in Duni are too far from these attractions... Pelican hotel is probably 1-2 km away from the amphitheater and Aqua-park. However, if you prefer tranquility and green surrounding, then you might find Pelican a good option. If you prefer a hotel with sea view and easy access directly on the sand beach then Marina Beach hotel might be better.
We have been in Holiday village house before, but the standard of the houses cannot compare with the one in the hotels - and the price is similar.
This year (2017) we plan to go again and stay in the 5-star Marina Royal Palace. I hope we will enjoy the summer holiday again.

I go there for the third time. It's a nice and peacefull location for a family trip. I stayed first year on Marina beach but don't like because the noise of the swimming pool. Bellevile is a more peacefull location. The food is good but sometime people that serve are not very nice. (For example at 14,30 when the lunch is close, they close in front of my kid the refrigerator with icecream). Instead of this we feel well and Sozopol is a little ancient town at 5 km around that you can visit

I was with the family at the of August 2016 for 7 nights.
It was perfect for the kid, I've choose the hotel because of the water slides.
We arrived by car just before 4:00pm, the checking was really fast and people from the reception desk were really OK and helpful (the tell us the resort rules).
Then we enter to the room, here was an unpleasant surprise: there was no hygienic paper, no soap, no shampoo... nothing except the towels.
I was going to the reception to ask for paper and soap, few minutes later they bring only the paper, no soap :) ; and we didn't get any soap for the entire period.

That was the only unpleasant thing; because of taht I rate it as 4* and not 5.

What else should be said:
Food - there is nothing special, but it is really OK.
Drink- I use to drink beer and wine. Beer was OK. Related to the wine I could drink only the red one (dry); there were also withe and rose, but both were just too sweet.
The water slides are perfect, my kid liked them a lot.
Sunbeds: there are plenty on the pool and on the beach.
To mention that there is free wifi only to the lobby. during the evening it is not working so well - too many devices connected on one router.

This hotel is a part of one resort that includes other 2 hotels (Marina Beach and Pelican), and a lot of villas; so there a huge garden.
Notices some tennis courts, but never used.

We (several families with children) were there 5 times in a role. Hotel Belleville is not directly on the beach which makes it calmer. The sun seems to be not so strong there because the hotel is surrounded with a lot of green.
There are several hotels in this resort and 2 of them are directly situated around the activity pool area and we find them quite noisy during the day. There is air conditioning in the rooms. The service is good, children are more than welcome. The food is fully okay. There are 2 main restaurants and a kind of bar on the beach, where during lunch food is served. Towels available on the beach area.
The beach is really long, the sea is usually calm and does not go deep immediately. There is a diving school, which we tested and even though the Black sea sometimes is not so clear, the diving experience was worth it.
The resort is close to Sozopol. One of oldest Bulgarian towns and a quick visit to the old town of Sozopol is an opportunity. We went there by taxi.

We had another good vacation in Duni. We had been before (3 years ago) and we're glad to be back again. The hotel is nice and is very close to open air restaurant (named Sozopol), amphitheater, aqua park and the beach. Plenty of food and drinks and pretty good (not fancy, but safe to eat and sometimes tasty enough). Good shows in the evening in amphitheater, mini aqua park is fun (I used to use it before lunch and dinner) and the beach is great (long and sandy; the water bottom is sandy and is not steep). You could also walk or run on the green alleys or choose to play tennis. We particularly liked the bar in the evening at Pelikan hotel. What can I say, for the valued payed the complex is offering plenty of facilities.
And...bonus: you can choose to make a trip nearby in Sozopol (the old city) - very nice old houses made by stone and wood on sea shore.

I was glad, that we chose this particular hotel when we stayed at Duni Royal Resort. It was close to main resort attractions (restautant, amphitheatre, aquapark). The price was reasonable and the service was good. The only thing I disliked was toll wi-fi.

We had a great meal. Very quick service. My little boy fell asleep at the table on my lap. So as we were leaving, I had to carry him and I left two pairs of sunglasses on the table. They would have cleared our table before the next guest. So surely they would have pick them up. They had our name, number and room number. They could have called. I went there the next day and only got back my daughters cheap sunglasses while mine were not there. It had to be the staff. I’m really disappointed with them as it has put a damper on our holiday. They were expensive sunglasses and to lose them in this way is gutting.

Duni Royal Resort is one of the best places to stay in Bulgaria during the summer. It's suitable for friend trips, couples, family (with kids) and can offer you a quiet vacation or a loud 24/7 entertainment.

It has areas designated for relaxing (with no noise), the beach area is huge. Also, the resort has an area where you can play different sports such as beach volleyball, beach football, table tennis, tennis, etc.

The food is good, the alcohol is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I recommend staying there for at least a week.

((I've been going there every year for 10 years now))

The Belleville Hotel is not on the beach (not a first line hotel). It is closed to the restaurant Sozopol and the amphitheater. I suggest that you look at the map of Duni Resort (you can google it). It takes 5-10 min to get to the beach. You don't need to cross the road - there is a subway below the road, so that you can get quickly to the beach.
