We are visiting the resort for a second time. Sadly, this summer we have experienced very poor service. The communication between the hotel and its guests is barely existent. The level of service compared to last year is significantly lower but the price stays the same. The bed sheets were shorter than the size of the bed, in the bathroom water was leaking from the shower cabin. The towel holder broke the first time, I tried to put a towel on it. The quality of the food was poor this year. Although they offer beach towels, it is very hard to get one as they never have enough ready to hand out. In the pool, there were bird droppings. It is overpriced for the level of service offered. The staff at reception are unprofessional and barely know how to communicate with the guests. Usually, if there is a message, they would leave a handwritten note under the door. The beach is superb, though we will not come back to the same hotel again. I would not recommend it to anyone who would like to have a nice, memorable holiday. There are other hotels nearby and we might try them out next year as the beach is great.

There is a terrible smell in the rooms. I was forced to change rooms several times because I couldn't sleep in them. The hygiene in the restaurant is terrible, no kovid measures, dirty tablecloths and glasses with lip prints. The electrical outlets in the room were broken, it was still a family hotel and children were walking around them. I note that I complained several times at the reception about the things described above and there was no reaction from the hotel staff. The only positive thing was the children's animation.

I am not an easy customer, but I must admit I love this place. I have been coming for 6 years now - sadly missed last year. This year I came for the wind-surfing, which was great. The hotel is not new but is well maintained. If there is an issue Dimitry (Thank you!) would fix it very quickly. The room I stayed in was big enough, with a cute little balcony. It is basic, but all you need is there - the bed is comfortable, bed linen is soft, pillows are fine. Also there is an electric kettle and a small fridge in the room. Quiet AC. The hotel provides the amenities and a tea/coffee supply. Beach towels are also provided. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Beware the hotel is on the hill, so you might have to do some walking up and down. I did not use the pool, so I can not really comment. Food is not exquisite, but sufficient, I was sorry they removed the healthy food corner. Plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. General cleanliness could be improved, but overall it is reasonable. This year I found that the beach got more crowded. The hotel has its bit, which is good. Unfortunately It was not clear how Tikhomire, the beach attendant decided on removing the belongings from the first row - there is a policy that you should not take a place until you are actually on the beach. Nobody follows it though, and some times my stuff was moved while other people's not. Staff speaks passable English. A note the non-smokers: the Bulgarian do smoke, almost everywhere, so if it is an issue for you, pls, be aware. My stay was excellent and I want really say thank you to wonderful and always very efficient Megi - the hotel manager. I am sooo coming next year.

Overall very good experience, because of the beach. We stayed in an apartment- spacious, clean and well equipped. I would rate the food average to good in terms of quality and variety. The service in the restaurant was average, big ques at the buffets, missing cutleries, untrained waiters, most of the time no-one to organize and supervise them. It is not normal 4 waiters to sit at the stairs and smoke next to the guests. During the pick times there are not enough tables for the guests due to slow service and lack of organization. Unfortunately there are lots of biting mosquitos and this makes the stay unpleasant. The animation for the kids was average in terms of variety and quality, the area is situated at the top of the hill, a dark place with lots of mosquitos. The pool is clean, not enough sunbeds, some of the guests are "reserving" early in the morning by putting a towels on them. Same at the beach. The beach is beautiful, it is a bit annoying to walk the distance to the beach with 2 kids and all the toys and towels, but it is a good exercise :) and the distance is not 300m as stated in the brochures :)

The rooms are quite small and not well maintained. There is no daily cleaning services, they are not changing the towels and not making up the beds, I had to complain several times to tidy up the room. The maids are leaving the bags with the garbage in front of the rooms, not just a bag usually at least 5-6 big bags in the corridor left there till late afternoon. In the morning the pool is never cleaned, it's always dirty with leaves and so on. They start cleaning it at noon after several complaints. The restaurant is also a real nightmare there is dirt everywhere. The staff is not tiding the tables and if you need a clean table you have to wipe it otherwise you can just wait for ages for the staff smoking away to come and to wipe the table. You can enjoy all they the staff sitting on a table smoking cigarettes dressed in ragged dirty clothes What about the food....I can hardly comment this attempt for all inclusive, the food is not acceptable for 4-star hotel and for that price, the alcoholic drinks are poured from huge plastic bottles, but the non-alcoholic drinks are even worse. THIS IS NOT 4-STAR HOTEL. It's offers low quality food, low quality drinks and terrible unfriendly staff.

Me and my family went on a holiday in July. This was the most awful trip we’ve ever had. First of all, the food is really bad for the money you pay. Secondly, there were a lot of mosquitoes and other insects that really hurt when they bite. Thirdly, the hotel isn’t well-kept. The electricity is bad and isn’t clean. Last but not least the animation programs was poor. There is an animation team, but they don’t come to invite you to join the animation programe. Although, the hotel is bad the beach is great. The water is warm enough and it’s shallow for a long time.

The best beach on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Big sand dunes. Beautiful landscape of forested hills over the dunes and sea. The Ropotamo river mouth is just over a small hill. There is a desolate beach next to the river's mouth, yet impassable due to thick barbed (prickly) vegetation. Most of the beach which is very long is not covered by sunbeds and umbrellas. One part is nudist. The hotel is is just ok. One side of it is on a main road but one can still see forest everywhere. The more expensive rooms have a nice view to the sand dunes, hills and sea. The food is just ok. In general the hotel is not something much but one can put up with it considering the astonishing beach. Beware of mosquitoes. The place is surrounded by marshlands where one could see water lilies if at the right time. I was looking at many Greek beaches and resorts these days, wanting to go to Greece, but I and family caught ourselves always comparing the conditions in Greece to those in Arkutino in Bulgaria and were always finding something coming short (not enough) in Greece. So I highly recommend a stay at Arkutino. The beginning of September is a very good time as there are less people than in July and August, sun is not so scorching and the water is still warm - for example it is 27C at this moment. Though chances of rainy days increase in September!

The place is green and nice, but outside. We were disappointed by the room, because the TV was really small, torn mosquito net and clogged drain of the bath. When you are with baby and needs to sleep is good to expect at least the howskeeping lady to respect that, but even we especially asked not to enter the room, she knocked again same morning. There were no signs for the door and lockers are ordinary, which means - easy to weak you up! The quality of the food was not really good, at least not in our taste. There is no suitable food for babies. Animation team was with really poor schedule. We have visited the kids disco a couple of days - one and same music, no really attractive for the kids. We need to admire great beach nearby, where lounge chair and umbrella were included led in the offer. For the people who would like to have all inclusive offer with beach is appropriate place, but with too many negative points from hotel side.

The resort is okay for families with children, but it is not worth the price. There is a great variety of fresh and cooked food, the BBQ is very good, but the drinks are of poor quality. We were very disappointed with the room - it is not the expected 4-star quality, it was small there was a smell of mold, and there were a lot of things that were not okay in it. The pool is okay, but it could be cleaner, the water could be cleaner as well. The complex is situated on a hill and the streets are very steep. Some houses are really high and it is not very convenient, especially if you have small children. The staff seems not very motivated and friendly, rather bored.

In my opinion this is a very nice hotel, which offers all that you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. It offers nice rooms, pool and very good all-inclusive service. It is also located near the beach and has enough parking lots.
