First went to Hof Ter Doest to dine at their restaurant which serves fantastic meat from the grill. Their rooms comes in handy after too many alcoholic drinks to get behind the wheel home. Rooms are modern with good wifi connection. Only draw back is the noise from the train starting before 6 am. Remote location but in walking distance...

there is a nice welcoming house. Just what we needed for a short stay on Saturday night on our way from Brugge to Knokke. Apparently, we have got the best room with two floors - loved it. newly refurbished, bath in the room(extra from the shower), sun in the morning to gently wake you up together with birdies singing. Perfect...

This was our third visit and, yes, the best room is quirky. The steps up to the bed and bath level are somewhat hazardous and make sure before you get in the bath that the soap and towel is with you from downstairs. Watch your step if needing the loo in the night after a good dinner!! In fact make...

We stayed 1 night at Hof Ter Doest, room Willem van Saeftinghe. In fact a lot of space, absolutely wrong divided. You enter the lower part and a sink, an open (rain)shower with seperate toilette are literally in the corner, without any separation. Further a sofa a table and 2 chairs. The flatscreenTV however is located in the 8 stairs...

A little bit hidden in the Belgian countryside, but once you find it a very very nice place. They have 6 rooms and we had the rooms upstairs. The room was excellent, big, and comfortable. Lunch and breakfast were delicious and the staff was very attentive. A couple of minor things, there was still an empty shower gel bottle in...

This is a family run hotel "in the middle of nowhere", but still quite close to the civilization in form of the village of Lissewege. Our sat-nav sent us to slightly different place, so you have to be careful, especially when the hotel is not sign-posted. But when you see a small chapel right in the "fork" on the junction...

We had a relaxing weekend in this charming hotel. It did not start very well because of the terrible smell of bleach in the check-in and bar area (around 3pm, they were finishing the washing of the restaurant's kitchen), but the room made up for that: recently refurbished, welcoming, clean. The room was very quiet (expect other guests upstairs walking...

We had a lovely weekend at this Hotel and will definitely return in the future. Its very rare that you will find a true gem and this was definitely it. The Hotel is run by 3 generations of the family which says a lot in itself. The rooms were pristinely clean and very well laid out. It had all the...
