We stayed at Don Lino for one week last year & are returning for 2 weeks in February. for our 17th trip to Cuba. This resort is clean, comfortable, quiet & good value for the money. We stayed in a two floor building last year but have booked a beach side cottage for our next trip. The food is basic...

My wife and I have been to Cuba at least a dozen times, but the first in this area, and resort. We stayed Nov. 13th for just a week, and we will be back for longer after 'checking it out'! The Don Lino is a wonderful resort, for what it is. As many have mentioned it is not a 'party...

Small resort, very country like maybe not enough comfort for many. We enjoyed the people of Cuba. Take a buggy ride in the country side. Food is OK needs fresh fruit and no white wine all week. We had two lobster dinners only one eating area. No water for 3 days and no free bottled water. No water to flush...

This was my third trip to Cuba and I was looking for a break to relax more than tour around. So I had a great time. My expectations were low given the price and the reviews I'd read so I wasn't disappointed. We were there in August so had a couple of rainy days which we used to explore. There...

Overdue review...Stayed there in February of this year. It really is the staff (Tony!) and closeness of the guests (Timbone!) that really makes this place what it is. That's why we gave it 4 stars. The grounds, rooms and amenities are nothing to write home about so set your expectations in advance. The beach is decent but definitely want some...

I am a regular traveller to Cuba, first starting my Cuba journey in the big hotels but falling in love with the Cuba, the people, the sense of safety and untouched beauty, seeing as much as I can while I am there and meeting Cubans is like a breath of fresh air. From staying in the Casa particulars to finding...

We enjoyed our stay at the Don Lino only because we were together and it was a break for us. It was a nice place to get away because of the sun. The people were friendly but if you like to swim at the beach this is not for you. You cannot go into the water without getting hurt by...

This is no 5 stars hotel. But then again it's not supposed to be. I spent a week there and will go back for sure. I like to hear the surf when I go to be and that's what I got. I even saw a whale blow right from my porch. (Yeah it was too far to see the actual...
