Lovely family run hotel, location is very good for the beach and close to all restaurants and bars 5 mins to harbour.our room was cleaned every day except Sunday, towels changed every other day. We were in room C which had a pool and sea view, there is a fridge in the room. Pool bar food is very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast consisted of bread, ham, cheese, jam, orange juice and tea or coffee. Next day was a boiled egg, bread, jam.., orange and tea. Mike,Eleni and there daughters were very hard working and couldn’t do enough for you. Will definitely be back.

This family run hotel is friendly helpful and exceptionally clean. We arrived late ( very late ) but were made welcome ,the pool area was clean and the sun beds plentiful and comfortable. The rooms were cleaned daily fresh towels and linen Note that air con is an " extra " but the cost is fair. Breakfast is continental but fresh . It is a " budget " hotel so if you want 5* then it isn't for you. But if you want a friendly, neat, clean, well located base then this is your hotel. And yes if we return to Kos it would be a first choice.

Been here 10 days - 4 to go and it has been a wonderful holiday - The Hotel Elenib is a great place - 2 mins from Supermarkets, Beach and Tavernas. Pool is ideal for kids as adults can stand (5ft 10) even in deep end. Breakfast is continental, rooms cleaned daily- use of large kitchen, fridge and freezer as our room had just beds and shower etc. Showers hot and powerful. These places are Greek don’t expect UK standards and you won’t be disappointed. It’s quiet and peaceful, I love this ending Kos for this.

We stayed 10 nights and had a lovely stay thanks to the family who runs the hotel. It's a 2 star hotel. So the breakfast and rooms are simple. But everything is looked after well and the service and location are fantastic. Kefalos is the more quiet part of the island. And camel beach and Agio Stefanos beach (both very close) are great snorkeling spots!!

On entering the hotel, the décor of the reception and lobby areas looked fresh and inviting, but this was to change as we were shown to our room. Very small and outdated. The sink was cracked, and we had to wait for a plumber to arrive to fix a leak under the sink. The shower had no fixing so had to be held by hand. The room itself was backing on to the kitchen, so we were woken early in the morning by the arrival of the bread being delivered, and by the preparation of the breakfast. Although this consisted of the bread accompanied by ham and cheese, or cheeses and hard boiled eggs on alternate days (with jam and butter). No fruit, cereal or yogurt on any day. One returning couple were given toast, but this was not offered to anyone else! Our room was the first in the row and everyone else had to walk past our ground floor balcony to access their rooms so we felt as if we were like gold fish in a bowl. We asked for another room and were given a first floor room which was bigger and better as far as décor was concerned.. However on using the air conditioning on leaving the room we found it was dripping water down the door, and my husband slipped, spraining his ankle and bruising his toe. This was reported and was 'fixed' by a piece of masking tape and a plastic bottle. (This did not work!) Apparently the plumber wasn't answering his phone! The owner did not seem to be very hands on, however his wife and daughter worked from early morning to the evening, from breakfast to changing beds and cleaning, they worked extremely hard.

Firstly the family that run the Eleni are lovely, nothing you ask is to much, it’s clean and well located. It has a nice pool or you are a few minutes walk from the beach, you can easily get a bus to Kos town and kefalos town from the seafront road. The beds are very hard and it took me a few nights to get use to them, the rooms are very clean and they are cleaned every day except Sunday. The breakfast is simple but nice and it’s nice to sit outside by the pool to eat, there are lots of places to eat away from the hotel if you wish. The Eleni has a small bar which is lovely at night you can a late night drink before bed and you can chat with other guests if you like. We all feel in love with this place and would certainly came back, we all recommend the Eleni, when we were here was out of the school holiday and there were no children, this is how we prefer it but I would think the Eleni would be well suited for Familys as-well. A big thank you to all at the Eleni Hotel for giving use a fabulous holiday.

We stayed a week - a family of 7. Youngest aged 3 and parents with a 14 year old , 24 year old and ourselves late 50s. This is a lovely lovely family hotel. Run by a family Mike and his wife and 2 daughters. You feel part of the family. The place is absolutely spotless. Bedrooms cleaned every day. Pool area and bar pristine. Lovely garden and field with tomatoes and melons and fig trees. Pool great with a children’s pool and loads of sun beds and beds to float on in the pool. Never busy and always space. Lovely bar with the best Greek salad and tuna sandwiches and club oh and a mean cheese omelette. Gin and tonic 4 euros and half and half , beer cold and ouzo aplenty. Also do a lovely iced coffee frappe. So friendly. I’ve read the other reviews about the owner and honestly how anyone could think he was anything but welcoming I don’t know. He is a bit of a character. 3 minutes walk from a supermarket and 6 minutes from the best beach ever and tons of lovely restaurants and loads of water sports. We hired a speed boat for the day. Low key and quiet but enough for the older ones. The only downside is the mattresses could be better and the rooms on the ground floor don’t have A/C. So if that’s important check when you book. Our son had a ground floor room and he had a fan and he was quite happy. All the rooms have verandas and outside furniture. Breakfast too wasn’t to our taste but was plentiful with ham and cheese and bread and nice jam. Maybe some yogurt and fresh fruit and decent coffee for a change. I would not hesitate to book it and would happily visit again. I hope to return. Thankyou.

This 2-star hotel is good. Staff is friendly, rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels. For breakfast there are delicious homemade jams, eggs, cheese, homemade cake. Perfect start of the day. You have to pay extra for WiFi and air conditioning in the room but that depends on your booking. Close to the sea, 2 minute walk and the bay is wonderful here. Perfect choice if you wish to stay in a less touristy area of Kos. And the area is the best part of the island!!!
