We visited Ikos Aria as a group of 40 and had an incredible week. The resort is everything expected. Can’t fault the service, facilities, food, drinks and people, not just the hotel staff but also George the tennis coach. We played tennis as friends and also had a number of lessons with George. George is absolutely fantastic tennis coach and even better player! After the food and drink consumed it was good to be put through your paces. I asked George to focus on refining forehand and he very quickly noticed that I wasn’t opening early enough. George took the time and a lot of patience and detailed explanations of how to change game. It was a great week with George’s focus has changed the way we play but also, challenged technique. Cardio tennis - a group of us tried this session. It was a fantastic work out. You don’t have to be a tennis player to do it. I had never done it before so was a great introduction and you really felt like you deserved all the food and wine after! It’s super the hotel offers this exercise class and it isn’t all just in the gym. There were also a number of children’s lessons which George took. Both my 7&5 year old attended with their friends. They absolutely loved it and George was great at speaking with the children and creating fun games for them.

I wanted to give 4.5/5. Four is too low. Five too high (see reasons). We returned to IKOS Aria for the second year running this past July. Last year, we were blown away, hence returning. A few things were not as good this year with respect to service, and some food quality. As you'll gather from most reviews the IKOS brand target excellence, and generally do deliver in this regard. All staff are polite, engaging and pro active. Likely due to the price tag, you avoid "lager lout" "brits on tour" type families. Everyone we've met here has been lovely. Less it's mentioned here, assume what ever you want is excellent. Food - book restaurants online before your arrival and there is plenty of space. We booked the first week (of two) in advance, so we could decide where to dine the second week once we'd tested the menus. The only let down here was that the steak last year was fillet steak (perfect) but this year was a lower quality cut. As a steak lover, this was disappointing to return to. Generally still cooked very well, though some guests had quite fatty/grissly cuts. The Asian restaurant Aniya is really hit and miss. Some fantastic dishes, some less enjoyable. Over the two holidays we've had, the service here has always been a let down compared with all others on site. Drinks - excellent range on offer - no hidden charges. The frustration for us was when on the roof terrace, staff service was fairly poor with a very slow service and incorrect orders arriving. We didn't experience this last year, so assume a change in staff lead to this. Hopefully improved as the season progressed. Our room was in the main hotel. It was ample for our needs. Clean and well maintained. Well stocked minibar that was included and replenished daily. The pools are excellent. If you are travelling with kids, the combination of pools, splash pad for <6s (no limit just under 6s used it most) and kids club kept them well entertained. Only drawback on the pools was that the sunbeds (delux pool) were on their last legs and had clearly met their UV exposure limit, and the towel quality had dropped. I hope these are all renewed for next year. Overall it was fantastic. We returned and met at least 5-10 families we met last year (all by chance) which was lovely. If you haven't been - you should love it. If you have been before, you know what to expect.

My husband and I stayed in early May to celebrate our wedding anniversary having been super impressed by Ikos Oceania the previous year. There was no warm welcome and check-in was extremely slow which was a disappointing start after a tiring journey and especially since it was our wedding anniversary that day. There was no acknowledgement of our anniversary whatsoever which again was disappointing as it was mentioned before we arrived but they didn’t follow through with their promises. Ikos Oceania made such a lovely fuss the previous year. By way of an apology and as a result of my husband expressing our disappointment they gifted me with a beach bag usually reserved for Deluxe guests only which was a welcomed gesture. The staff were as helpful as they could be, therefore giving them the benefit of the doubt my assumptions are that the hotel’s shortfalls were due to being understaffed at the start of the season. Service was slower than expected and attentiveness was lacking compared to our previous stay at Oceania. Overall we still had a lovely stay. Ikos hotels are so impressive when it comes down to a luxurious holiday. The views are stunning, decor is beautiful and the Michelin standard food delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities such as wine tasting and cardio tennis. Booking a Tesla to explore the island is a must and don’t forget something white for the White Party on the beach. The Ikos Way is definitely the best way in my opinion and we can’t wait to book another stay at Ikos next year.

This was our 10th ikos holiday & 4th visit to Aria. All I can say is another fantastic holiday was had by all. The staff truly make this hotel & they work tirelessly to make sure you have the best time. The weather was also amazing too at around 28 degrees. We stayed in the deluxe area again this year but have stayed in both. For us Aria has the best deluxe pool area & this year the service was second to none run by Anastasia. She absolutely excels in her role as deluxe pool bar manager & is an asset to the company. Her team work so hard & are so friendly. It was lovely to see so many familiar faces from the housekeeping staff, gardeners & restaurant staff. The food & drink were as good as ever & we cannot wait to return.

The short version of this story: Best all inclusive experience from start to finish - Highly recommended The long version: Ok, so we decided to try the Ikos Aria experience as all our friends in the UK were so enthusiastic about it. I am always sceptical when it comes to all inclusive, there is always a hiccup somewhere somehow...but I was pleasantly surprised that at Ikos Aria this was not the case. We booked directly through the Ikos website. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by a very courteous gentleman, offered a refreshment and our private transfer was there to pick us up straight away. The drive was comfortable and only lasted..15mins. The check-in was utterly straightforward, too short to be true. We were there early in the morning and the room was not ready yet however we were able to enjoy the sun/pool and have a lovely lunch at Ouzo , the Greek restaurant. I realised at that time that I had forgotten my daughter's pool noodle and slightly disappointed. Literally 2 minutes later, Dimitris (front house manager) who heard my sighs, showed up with a brand new pool noodle for my daughter to use throughout our stay. DRAMA over, way too many brownie points for Dimitris whose mission was to save the day whenever my daughter was going into a meltdown!! On a separate occasion Dimitris walked all the way down to the beach, to give our daughter a lovely hand painted pebble as another child had accidentally taken hers at the kids club. Good vibes only. We were pleasantly surprised that we were upgraded from a standard room to a garden view junior suite for free. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and the outdoor space was great to relax. The pools were nice but more importantly the sea was nice, transparent and so very warm for the season. The beach was nice and sandy. The beach at the side of the deluxe rooms was the best as there were no rocks in the sea so perfect for kids to splash and play. There was never an issue with getting a lounger either at the beach or the pool. Although the resort was at full capacity it never felt crowded. There was always space. There were no queues. There was ambience throughout. And that is soooooo important. The gardens were well maintained. I went for a run every morning and running through the herbal/botanical plants just made my day. The gym was well equipped, modern and the outdoor yoga deck was very peaceful. As far as the food is concerned, everything was top spec. We tried the Greek, the French, the Asian and the italian. All meals were tasty and wonderfully presented. The cocktails/wines menu were extensive and each restaurant had a different menu. So never bored! Always something new to look forward to. Our 5 year old was always welcome to join us for dinner and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The kids club had excellent facilities . My daughter complained that I had not booked enough sessions for her to join (lol). Happy child, happy parent. Finally and very importantly, we were there at the very last day of the season 29th October. We were slightly worried that after midday and checkout we would have nowhere to go /nothing to do as the hotel would shut and our flight was late in the evening. It was the complete opposite. The hotel allowed us to have a late checkout and they continued to provide beach/pool service (including food and drinks) , lunch and dinner until our departure. This was amazing!!!! This holiday could not have been any more smooth or fulfilling. Again top marks for this wonderful provision. A few members of staff who deserve a big thank you: Georgia (ouzo) and Anastasia (Anaya)-lovely manners and made us feel very welcome, our daughter loved them both -Shahid lovely buggy ride for the first tour/ first impressions of the resort and our room -Endri and Kostas (main pool bar) these two gentlemen made every visit to the pool a special experience. They were polite, welcoming, they would always suggest a different cocktail or they would come up with their own recipes depending on what we wished for They were eager to please. They were so good I sometimes ordered my cocktails at the pool bar and took them to the beach with me . They were delightful. My daughter adored Nikoleta and Louise at the kids club, she did want to let go and genuinely wished to join the club at every opportunity which was a bliss. Vagelis at Flavours in the morning and Provence in the evening took care of every aspect of our meals and was always helpful. Vasilia(Provence) shared authentic insight into the wines. Angel and Panagiotis at the deluxe beach looked after us really well during our prolonged stays at the beach, made sure we were always hydrated and fed , were polite, attentive and acted very professionally despite the heat and the demands of their post. Valantis at fresco served us out last lunch before we left the resort, he had a great sense of humour and engaged in conversation. Overall all members of the team were extremely welcoming, attentive and made sure that all our needs were met Thank you Ikos Aria and hope to see you again soon.

This was our first time visiting an ikos resort and will definitely not be the last. To save writing an essay, I’ll try and be specific: Communication - we love the way you can use their WhatsApp service for all contact with the hotel. It’s quick and friendly. Facilities - resort caters for many people especially young families but also couples and older families, as we saw a lot of age range. Resort is cleverly divided so that you can get your quiet time away from kids if you want to chill. Vibe - we love the vibe of this place. Even though it caters for all, this is the most tranquil resort we’ve visited. It’s not loud or brash. No loud music during the day etc. Everyone is respectful of each other. Staff - some of the best staff we’ve ever met. Special shout out to Anita, Aggeliki and Georgia. The ladies make such a fuss especially for kids, making them feel they’re the only one that matters. Gents are also caring and professional. No complaints at all. Food - buffet restaurant isn’t the biggest but it doesn’t need to be because the choice of A La carte restaurants is amazing. However, the buffet is well stocked and I think is the only buffet we’ve come across where every single item is labelled. (Great choice for kids and younger toddlers/babies to which was surprising). A La carte restaurants served super quick food at a consistently high standard. Some of the best food we’ve eaten. Rooms - great rooms as per what you see in the pictures. We had garden view which was great with the kids as they can play in a secure space before heading for dinner. Room Service - amazing how this is included at no extra cost. Order via the WhatsApp number and your order is with you in super fast time. If it’s not on the menu, they’ll do all they can to cater to your needs. I could go on and on but I’m sure the above gives food for thought. Overall, the staff and atmosphere of this resort make it so relaxing and inviting. They do all they can to help you and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful resort. Excellent food, service, couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel caters very well for families and made travelling with our 4 month old much easier. Travel cots, sterilisers, changing mats, baby monitors, all available should you need them. Would highly recommend.

We had been looking forward to returning to Ikos Aria after our stay last summer. This time we booked a deluxe sea view one bedroom and the room was huge and the views were amazing! We did have some niggles and raised this to the Duty Manager however there wasnt much improvement so after we submitted a second survey our issues were escalated to the General Manager Mr Dimitrios Tsaklas. He was excellent, listening to our concerns (some equipment we requested was missing, dietary requirements for our baby weren’t organised / ready even though we emailed beforehand, massages werent able to be booked, confusion with transfers, etc). He ensured his team were able to help with anything that had gone wrong and ensured the rest of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. We really appreciated his help because of this will be returning again next year! We would like to highlight: Doukissa (service excellence team) was very patient with a request before us stay in provided. Excellent customer service. She was also assertive and often emailed solutions or alternatives such as menus that we can view before we stay. Katerina and Maria (reservations team) always listen to our requests and followed up with excellent customer service Anastasia (deluxe pool manager) always remembered our orders and had a smile on her face. She also went above and beyond to find things like plums for our children, which weren’t on the menu. Georgia (Ouzo waitress) always greeted us with a smile for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and went above, and beyond to make sure that we were happy. Our two children absolutely loved her and she is an asset to the hotel. Ionis (Seasons Manager) always has efficient and good service Samantha (kids club) was absolutely outstanding. Our boys loved her and she always had a smile on her face with lots of energy. She helped make us stay better, even though we were disappointed with many things Amelia (Kids club manager) was very helpful even before we arrived. Shila team were very flexible with our requirements for both our children, especially how young baby made our stay much more relaxing. Katerina (Hotel Director) helped us when we arrived as some of our requests like a buggy when able to be met beforehand. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and settled in. Unfortunately, the levels of service from others dropped after we checked in Thomas (Seasons waiter) always had recommendations and a smile on his face was truly passionate about the menu, and always made us laugh Alexandros (Oliva waiter) made excellent suggestions and provided great customer service

We were concerned that our 3rd time it an ikos resort would be a disappointment, I mean, how long can a company maintain such a high standard on EVERYTHING? We needn't have worried, this was a 6 Star experiance! The resort, even at the end of September is truly beautiful and (as usual) very well maintained. Our accommodation was equally well presented and maintained. We loved the Nespresso coffee machine and the well stocked 'drinks fridge' and the views of the sea made us smile every day. We dined in each of the numerous onsite restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All were first class, although (surprisingly) the Spanish restaurant was our favourite. We really enjoyed our local dining experience too, a fantastic restaurant with exceptional views and an underground tunnel to an old restored windmill to stretch your legs after the meal was a real treat, There are several pools to choose from, all great with comfortable sun beds and lots of shade if you need to keep out of the sun. The free ice creams were really nice as were the on tap cold drinks delivered to your sun bed. I could add that the spar treatment and complementary Tesla to explore the island was a real treat, Kos is beautiful, so well worth taking the time to explore. But for the both of us, the best aspect of iKos holidays is the people who worked there. From the guys that cut the grass, to the people who serve you your meal or drinks around the pool to members of the management team, we have never found a company in the travel industry that manages to hire and retain such friendly, competent and customer centric people. Well done all at iKos, another 6 star holiday, see you soon no doubt!
