The hotel was family run, the rooms were a bit on the small side but that was fine with us as we tend to be out all day, you had to pay for the air conditioning, a fridge, safety box and a kettle, we were lucky as we had taken our own, the breakfast was included in our price and it was the basic fare for Greece, cereal, bread ,no toast, meats, cheese, tomato, cucumber yoghurt, honey and fruit which came out of a tin, the beach was straight of the hotel grounds, but you had to pay for the use of the sun loungers, the food in the on site restaurant was lovely but a bit pricey compared to the other tavernas that were open around the area, the only shops open in the resort were supermarkets but that was because of the Covid 19, they did have in place all the right safety measures, we hired a car for a couple of days and that was quite a reasonable price, all in all we had a lovely chilled out holiday

We stayed here for a week in September 2020 and will definitely holiday here again. Antonio and family, in fact all the staff, were so welcoming, happy and helpful from the moment we arrived. We had a seaview room with balcony that was clean and very comfortable. The food was exceptional with generous sized portions, cooked to order. The dining area was right alongside the beach and was very atmospheric. Much of Kefalos was closed due to Covid-19 however we wanted a beach holiday with plenty of swimming and relaxation and that was what we got. The weather was lovely, the beer was cold, the sea was warm and sunbeds with beach umbrellas were available and all within a few metres. The hotel followed Covid-19 rules and we felt safe walking about the resort and particuarly around the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble and we wish to thank Antonio and his team for a fabulous holiday. Two beers, please.

Just returned from a lovely, relaxing week here which was the last week of the season. A small family run hotel right on the beach with a pool and a fabulous taverna. The asian restaurant was closed as it was late in the season but the taverna serves excellent food. My room was quite small, perfect for just me but not sure about two people sharing. It was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bathroom was tiny and showering requires a certain knack. I use kitchen towels to soak up the inevitable spillage but it is a typical greek bathroom and not without its charm. Stamatis is a lovely chap and so are the rest of the staff and i was made very welcome. It was very quiet and i had the pool to myself most days . I was recuperating after an illness so didnt stray far, however Kefalos is a quiet resort at the best of times, perfect for a really relaxing break. I would definitely come back here maybe earlier in the season next time. Recommend highly for sole female travellers.

What a great location - directly on the beach with a swimming pool as added bonus. The view is stunning and never to be forgotten. Stamatis was welcoming and the staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was on second floor with sea view. Hotel was clean with all necessary precautions taken. Antonios Restaurant is fine and portions are huge. All amenities - supermarket, restaurants , bars , car hire and excursions are within walking distance.

First time here for me and my husband but went with mother in law who has been previously. Felt 100% welcome from the moment we arrived to the time of leaving. Left as friends! Food is gorgeous and catered to whatever we asked for. Nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous pool, lovely clean facilities, best view ever! Will definately go back. See you soon Stamatis and Petia
