If you are in town on a business trip this might be an alright place to stay for a couple of days, but it is not really geared to provide a romantic getaway for couples. It is rather austere and somewhat dated, with bizarre artwork and strange accent colors and devoid of anyplace to spread out your toiletries in the tiny bathroom. But the shower is scalding hot and you can grab a late night filet in the dining room after surviving an all day bus trip. The hotel is located on a busy street in centro, a R$25 taxi ride from the Rodoviara.
The hotel is fine if you want to be in the middle of town, the photos of the hotel are well , not represented for what they are, the beds are very poor the mattresses are approx 30 cm and very uncomfortable the room was dark and dingy this has been the worst hotel we have used, The only good point was that the staff were excellent at their jobs and gave good assistance to us.. The breakfast was typical and was not kept cold or kept covered, and the noise of barking dogs were not a good start to the day,
we stayed at the hotel just one night in our road from Belo Horizonte to Rio de Janeiro. The room was tipical from a business hotel, with a desk in the front (was like a small office) and the beds. breakfast was great, with all you may expect at a good brazilian hotel. services was very good, people at the front desk very friendly. it included parking and breakfast for a very convinient price.
