This resort checked my most important boxes in that the room was clean, the mattress was good quality, and it was quiet offering us a good sleep. We stayed in a chalet king room overlooking the lake for one night only. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. However, with taxes, and resort fee, our bill topped... More

Thank you for the “nice comments” about the guest room and staff. The Price quoted was a Premium price for a Saturday night June 18 in our largest best suite in the chalet in our premium room, requested by your husband when he reserved. Regarding rate and the suggestion the it should be $200 per night. Our last minute Specials... More

My husband and I stayed at Westwind Inn for the long weekend (May 21-23) . We wish we had stayed an extra night to be able to enjoy everything the resort had to offer! We originally had booked a jacuzzi garden/forest view room but when we arrived we immediately upgraded to a jacuzzi lake view room. Just could not beat... More

The Inn is nestle by natural beauty & breathtaking nature & vista for your relaxation and enjoyment. The April 21/16 weekend was very cool not a good time to use any of the outside amenities, I did walk some of the trails. This Inn breaths relaxation whether inside the INN or outside. I would give this Inn a score of... More

The hotel and staff were great the only problem was that the TV was on top of the fireplace therefore height was a problem to turn it on. Very old TVs with no remotes. Not much room between the end of four poster bed and end of fireplace could be dangerous if getting up in night..breakfast ok but had nicer.wifi... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the Westwind Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and personable, the food was plentiful and excellent, and the atmosphere was quite relaxing. We would love to visit again when the weather would permit more outdoor activities- as they have beautiful grounds, and offer access to canoes,... More

This lovely Inn is tucked away by a lake, and surrounded with forest and walking trails. Even though it was March, we enjoyed walking in the woods beside the Inn. Lots to do...a beautiful Art Gallery is right next door, and you can put in an afternoon at the stores on the Ojibwa Reservation. The young Westwind Inn owners were... More

We had a wonderful weekend at the Westwind Inn. The Inn was beautiful and rustic. The owners were helpful and accommodating. The grounds are stunningly beautiful and I look forward to seeing it in all seasons. The food was absolutely fabulous and filling. We will be back to this relaxing and beautiful Inn. Thank you to the Jensen's!

My husband and I spent the weekend of October 2 to 4 at Westwind Inn. I booked by phone on September 28, a lake view room in the main lodge building. The rate was $700.00 for the two of us for two nights, including two dinners and two breakfasts. Added to this rate was a 10% resort fee, plus taxes,... More

Thank you for the input Cindy. As a seasoned traveler and someone who worked In tourism for 40 years, your homework possibly led you to believe Westwind Inn was something different. We try to make the rooms comfortable and affordable. Its a hard balancing act to constantly upgrade keeping with the latest trends with 36 bathrooms. The room you chose... More

Just as they advertised, it was a quaint, quiet, rustic, scenic, couples resort, just what we were looking for and it didn't disappoint. Now granted the weather did not co-operate in that it was very cold so was not able to take advantage of their water amenities but it seemed like they had lots of different choices. Did walk on... Once more I am inclined to sing the praises of Westwind Inn and this area of Ontario. Let me note that our weather was by no means optimal, and still we had a wonderful time.
