Detailed Reviews
I recently stayed at the Birches resort for a wedding I was attending in Buckhorn, if you are picky about a view, this is the place for you as it the view is beautiful.
We stayed in a 2bdr cabin which was small, but all we really needed.
Beds were clean and firm.
One thing to remember to bring - toliet paper!

+1

In October 2014 we hosted a wedding. We needed accommodation for one night for out of town guests. Accommodation in the area consists mostly of family run cottage resorts. There is usually a weekend minimum of a two night stay. The Birches was the only resort in the area that would take the one night booking. Our wedding guests pretty much took over the resort. We also had our rehearsal dinner of pizza and beer in The Birches common room. The co-owner Irma Klein was a delight to deal with right from the start. Nothing was a problem and she was so agreeable to every request I made. She went above and beyond and even gave one of our visiting families a second cottage free of charge for their adult children to sleep in. The Kleins were wonderful hosts.

"The cottages are all on the water and are nicely spaced apart. There is a beach and docks all along the shore if you bring your boat. The cottages are comfortable and immaculate."Read full review
