We, my wife and I, came many times back to Maison L'Orchidee, not only for the beauty and comfort but also for Jack and Jacky, the owners of this bed& breakfast. They are very helpful and their hospitality is extraordinary. We hope to enjoy this place again.
I was a pleasure to stay at La Maison de L'Orchidee. The rooms are very confortable and the breakfast is generous. The village is very pretty and quiet. The nicest thing was to meet the owners Jack and Jackie who are very friendly. They will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Thank you Jack and Jackie, we will come back
A truly amazing bed and breakfast with lovely large rooms. We stayed here for 5 nights while my husband was working locally. A lovely couple run this place making you feel very welcome, they also offer evening meals which we'd recommend. Can't thank Jack and Jackie enough for their help while we were staying here, a really great place to stay ran by a great couple. Hopefully we will be back to see you soon. Matt and Claire
Great hosts and very charming rooms (we traveled as a couple and had the rustique suite with two rooms and a big bath room). We got everything we needed including a very satisfying breakfast. We will come again! :-)
We had a lovely 4 day stay at the Maison L’Orchidee in July. The hotel itself is charming and the colourful flowers and lights outside really made it feel homely and welcoming. The owners are very friendly and English speaking. Jack is very knowledge about the area and he was very keen to tell us about all of the best places to visit. On the first evening we had a very pleasant meal outside on the terrace with the owners Jack and Jackie. Jackie also made us a very tasty picnic to take out with us on the second day. We stayed in the Rustique suite which was very clean, comfortable and had all of the amenities we needed. The weather was very warm whilst we were staying but we found the ceiling fan in our room was enough to keep us cool during the night. The location is ideal and it was very peaceful both during the day and at night. The area is very beautiful and there are lots of interesting places to visit locally. The Abbey is within 50 yards of the hotel and was very interesting with lots of little rooms to explore. Carcassonne castle was bustling and had a great choice of restaurants and shops to visit. We also visited the town of Foix and were lucky enough to see the Tour de France passing through whilst we were there.…
