Coco Palm receives accolades for its attentive and personable staff, though there are occasional mentions of slower service during peak times. The hotel boasts spacious and well-maintained rooms; nevertheless, a few guests feel the decor could use refreshing. The cleanliness of the hotel, especially the rooms and pool area, consistently earns high marks.
With a variety of amenities and a location close to the beach and local hotspots, it's a hit among travelers, despite the lively atmosphere that some may find too noisy. While the value proposition receives mixed reviews, the hotel's overall appeal remains strong.

We very much enjoyed our 7 days at Coco Palm. The swim up suites were awesome. The food & drink were tasty and the staff were super friendly and kind. The shower faucet & AC did need fixing, but management had it done the same day. I was impressed. We will totally return! Love how close it is the Reduit Beach, too.

Just returned from seven nights stay at the Coco Palm, Hotel Manager Jean St. Rose should be very proud of his establishment and particularly his staff, who almost without exception made a major contribution as to why this holiday was so enjoyable.
We had a pool view room, well positioned on the second floor in the main part of the building, the room was kept spotlessly clean and had all that was necessary to ensure a comfortable stay.
The bar area is very pleasant whether you prefer to sit at a bar stool or in the more relaxing lounge area, the bar really comes alive when Dwight is on duty !
The real bonus for us here was the food, we got to know the young Chef Nigel quite well, he was interesting to talk to and his passion for cooking showed through. The Lamb Shank was out of this world.
The hotel has an excellent pool ,comfortable loungers with mattresses and plenty of umbrellas for shade. The surrounding gardens are immaculately kept.
It is almost unfair to name individual members of staff, but there were a few who were special to us, Supervisors Genevieve and Sam, Waitresses/Waiters Princess, Patricia, Lise, Shervan, Cyrille and of course "Dr"Garnette for her life saving Ginger Tea. Thank you Ashton on Reception for finding us such a lovely room and to Peppy for helping us with excursions.
We would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveler reviews.
We chose Coco Palm because we didn’t want a large resort. With only 50 something rooms it definitely hit the spot. There is plenty of character and the room was spacious and well appointed. Our garden view room didn’t have much of a view, but we didn’t spend time looking out of the window - it was much nicer to sit outside by the pool or the verandah by the bar and restaurant. The small size meant that it was easy to get chatting with other guests, which we enjoyed.
The food in both restaurants was excellent and the best we’ve had on all-inclusive (we’ve not tried the 5 star places). It was lovely to find that the lunch and evening menus were all la carte except on Friday evening (our least favourite) and the Sunday brunch buffet, which was amazing and accompanied by live steel pan music. The presentation of the food in Ti Banane was particularly good and all the waiting staff were lovely. The bar staff, too, were superb as were the cocktails!
In fact, it’s the staff that really make this hotel. We were always greeted with a smiling face and everyone really seemed to enjoy working there and were endlessly helpful. I won’t single anyone out because they were all so wonderful and felt like friends by the end of our stay.
In terms of location, it’s a few minutes from Rodney Bay village, which has two shopping malls. It’s also a 5 minute walk to Reduit Beach if you use the local short cut. That part of the beach is quiet and I enjoyed snorkelling there.
The downsides? Well, there is no sea view from the hotel, but if there had been we probably couldn’t have afforded to stay there. It didn’t seem to trouble most people, with lots of return guests. With 11 nights there, we would have liked a change of menu at some point, but we always found plenty we liked so it wasn’t really a problem except at the Creole Grill, which had a smaller menu.
Overall, well done Coco Palm

Thank you for your glowing review and detailed account of your stay at Coco Palm. We are so pleased you enjoyed all that we offer. Our team do take enormous pride and your kind review will be much appreciated which our GM will share with enormous pride. Your account of what you enjoyed we know will help future guests appreciate what we offer and know what to expect from Coco Palm. Absolutely correct, if we were to offer sea view rooms the price point would certainly change! But, for those who wish to take a short walk the beach is very accessible but as you noticed, many enjoy relaxing poolside. We take all reviews to our heads of department and will highlight where we can strive to improve. With thanks, Coco Owners, Managers & Team

Hotel was dated. Many corridors decor needed maintenance. Shower took 3 to 5 minutes to become warm & flow was poor. Too few umbrellas around pool. Sunbeds old and sagging where the plastic mesh is . 3 different persons advised it affected their backs when trying to get up from these. The main restaurant was constantly running out of ice cream, and running out of a number of meal menu choices - one was because of having no basil and tomato !. By this I mean they ran out of about 10 different food requests during our 1 week stay! Other guests discussed the same problems with us & one guest actually took the complaints to management. Many times ran out of Sauvignon Blanc & Bombay gin. Food in Creole restaurant was cold & dish choices were out of stock so we ate in the main restaurant. The air conditioning unit in room 312 is very noisy.
On arrival the swimming pool looked very dirty with many bits of paper and rubbish in. These were cleaned out on our second day but towards the end of the holiday a nasty scum was seen floating around the edges which was rectified but it gave us no incentive whatsoever to go in the pool
Staff absolutely lovely but management is letting them down. This is only a 3 star hotel

We are sorry to read your review on your stay. As our rooms were upgraded in 2019, we have planned for the public areas - hall ways and pool to be done 2020. Am sorry if you found this not to your liking but given the elements in the tropics, to you and all future guests, rest assured this is an ongoing exercise. Our pool is painted with stone river finish which gives it the effect which unfortunately you found uninviting. Our pool is cleaned daily but at the end of the day one may see remnants of sun tan lotion which sounds like what you are referring to. In speaking to our F&B department, we did not see that there was any day we had run out of said items. Am sorry you didn't raise this with the team or Management who would have been able to address this. Our stores had all items noted. Sorry to read you felt the only way to address this was after the fact and let this impact your stay. Am happy to hear you found our team welcoming but must say, this is the first time we have read that our management let the side down. We implore any guests who are not happy to raise any concerns during your stay so as to help you have an enjoyable stay or find an alternative option. Our guest satisfaction is key and we hope anyone coming enjoys their stay and thus note to any future guests, please do communicate whilst we can help resolve any issues. Coco Owners, Managers & Team

Our party of 10 stayed at the Coco Palm Resort from 28th December 2019 until 8th January 2020. Two of our group had been to Saint Lucia before, but for the rest of us it was our first visit. Over the 10 days we all fell in love with the Island, the wonderfully hospitable people and this beautiful hotel. My wife & I stayed in a swim up room and loved sitting on our balcony in the morning watching the hummingbirds flying really close to us as they moved around the vibrant flowers on our patio bush. Our newly refurbished room was spacious and lovely. Tea & coffee making facilities were provided along with a free safe, full size iron & board, UK plugs and USB ports. The standard of daily cleaning was also excellent.
We were “all inclusive” and have to say that the food and drink at this boutique hotel was fabulous! We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, lunch and bar food. The evening meals were A la Carte and of an exceptional standard - all cooked fresh! The alcoholic drinks, cocktails, beers etc. we’re all good ..... especially The Chairman’s Reserve Rum!!
We spent a number of days by the hotel swimming pool and we always managed to get comfortable sun beds with mattresses.
However, the best thing about this hotel is it’s amazing staff!! They are so friendly & helpful! They can’t do enough for you and nothing is too much trouble!! They also got our British sense of humour which made our stay even more fun! Special mention must go to the lovely hotel management who even came out to wave us off, Dwight, Lance, Christian & Dario behind the bar, Octavia in the restaurant and the star of the hotel Princess who helped to make our stay perfect!!
This hotel is also a great base for exploring the Island. Rodney Bay has all the shops that you need, Reduit Beach is lovely and Pigeon Is idilic. The hotel concierge can also assist with any trips that you wish to take.
Prior to travelling we arranged to renew our wedding vows on Pigeon Island after 30 years of marriage. We were assisted with this by Louanne Gustave from Extraordinary Weddings and Events on Wedding Wire. She was so helpful / professional and we would really recommend her services to any couples.
A minor thing for the hotel to improve on is the decoration of some corridors .... but who spends any real time in corridors!!
The owner of the hotel is a gentleman called Sir Michael Chastanet and he was a friendly and visible presence during our stay. His son (The Prime Minister of St. Lucia) also visited a few times!
We spent New Years Eve at the hotel and the poolside area was transformed for The Havana Nights evening. Dancing on the stage over the pool and then seeing in 2020 in the pool was unforgettable!
We all absolutely LOVED this place and will return again very soon!!!

Our room:
we has a suite on the 4th floor, which overlooked the pool. the bedroom had a very large ensuite and the living room area also had a large shower room and toilet. we brought along travel adapters (we are from the UK) but these weren't required. the rooms has plenty of plug sockets, more UK than USA type ones. It also had USB ports.
Our room was turned down every night, which was a nice touch.
Location: centrally located in the Rodney Bay area. we only heard outside noise on 1 occasion. the hotel is very quiet.
Amenities:
Many guests spent their entire vacation by the pool, therefore, I would suggest the all-inclusive travel option because St. Lucia is quite expensive for dinner.
Food: the buffet breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious. We didn't need lunch, lol. The staff were friendly and attentive.
There didn't appear to be any entertainment for guests at the hotel in the evening.
I would consider this to be a '4' star hotel, not a '3' star one.
In all my family loved it. this was our first family holiday to st. lucia.
I can't single out any particular person, a bit unfair, the team worked well together and we had a great time.

Thank you for choosing to stay at Coco Palm with your family in one of our newly updated suites. We appreciate you highlighting in such detail all that you enjoyed which we know will help future guest appreciate what we offer. Happy the attention to the detail particularly power outlets and USP charging didn't slip by you! In our recent renovation we tried to anticipate what the guest needs are to make your stay that much more comfortable. Our All Inclusive is encouraged but also to give guests the independence to consider exploring the island. Entertainment is scheduled a couple nights a week vs nightly and in particular around special events which we do make a fuss about. Our GM will take enormous pride to share your sentiments following your stay which will no doubt inspire our team to continue to look after our valued guests. We do strive to over deliver on our expectation and happy to credit Coco Palm with 4*! With thanks, Coco Owners, Managers & Team

This is my second time at coco palm. Firstly Covid provisions were excellent and top notch - we felt safe and reassured
And it was very well managed. Even spraying our luggage on arrival and spraying down sun beds at night - extra things we weren’t considering. The staff make it, the food is excellent and varied each day, the rooms large, bright and spacious,
The gardens are beautiful. Full of flowers and humming birds and butterflies. We had B&B and also had massages at the spa. Shout out to Larry and Shannon and Corleen, but all the staff are excellent. It’s close to Rodney bay and reduit beach and allows for the amazing beauty of St Lucia to be affordable to more people in January. My only criticism is that the hotel is now a bit tired in places compared to when I last went and could do with some maintenance …. on the pool - please
retile, repaint the outdoor areas, get some cushions for the sun beds. Our room shower head needs replacing or replumbing. But these are minor as it still very much punches above it’s weight and is a wonderful hotel. If it gets left though it might deteriorate so I hope they do some upgrades. Thanks Coco Palm for a lovely stay. Keep it up. You’re a gem of St Lucia.

Thank you for returning to Coco Palm as one of our valued returnees! Times have certainly changed since your last visit so we appreciate you shouting out on how our team have adapted to the new protocols for the protection of all. Your review is certainly very helpful highlighting our unique selling points. As one who has stayed with us our team will be flattered to read all that you noted on their respective efforts to make your holiday so special. Rest assured, we will be addressing some of the points you mentioned around the pool. As many rooms had not been used some of our shower heads may need descaling so we will be sure to follow up. Most of all, thank you for appreciating what value for money we offer and we continue to strive to exceed our guest expectations. We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back again. (Written from the perspective of a young couple with a low budget in July 2022)
Upon booking this hotel I was quite concerned. Many of the reviews referred to outdated furnishings as well as a chronic noise problem. We are currently on day 3 of our stay at the coco creole village (which was deemed the epicentre of these issues) and could not disagree more
The hotel has clearly been recently renovated and the rooms in the coco creole match the standards of most 4 star resorts I have stayed in within the region
The staff are for the most part incredibly polite and kind, especially the security staff. Our only non-positive interaction was with one bar staff member but everyone has off days and that can be excused!
The breakfast offered as part of the package is excellent and consists of options which branch traditional Lucian cuisine as well as European classics, catering to every pallate
For the price point, I can safely say that this hotel is unmatched among most hotels in St lucia and is an excellent option for travellers on a budget!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to share your detailed account of all that we offer. Most importantly, we appreciate you defying the previous reviews and booking your stay. We do indeed offer rooms at our Kreole block which is our lead in price without compromising! Great value all inclusive stay at this hotel for 4 nights on our honeymoon. Only a short walk from Reduit beach - one of the best on the island. Ephraim will sort you out with sunbed and an umbrella. His end of the beach has a great vibe.
Hotel pool is nice too. Don't be put off by the green colour - that's due to the colour of the pebbledash not algae! All part of the resort's colour scheme. Some of the paintwork and the surround could do with a touch up though. Water is clean and fresh and pool is one of the few that is large enough for a proper swim.
We booked a suite on the top floor and the extra space and quality decor is well worth the upgrade with two newly refurbished bathrooms and a separate lounge. Relative luxury for a fraction of the price of the higher starred resorts.
Layout of bar and restaurant is great and the bartenders will prepare all your favourite cocktails with a lot of flair. The staff are a great team and all seem to enjoy working at Coco Palm which makes this a really friendly place to stay.
Food in Ti Banane restaurant is freshly cooked to order from a wude varied menu with lots of local dishes. No lukewarm buffets here! Plenty of staff on hand but be prepared for a wait at busy times. Creole restaurant is ok for a change but menu is more limited.
Overall a great place to stay in Rodney Bay close to shops and amenities. Reception and concierge staff are really helpful with anything you need.

Thank you for your kind endorsement following your stay at Coco Palm! We are happy you appreciated our spacious newly renovated suites which are certainly worth the little bit extra! Food is an integral part of ones holiday and our F&B team take pride in your kind compliments. The Creole Grill is a limited menu with an emphasis on the old favourite local dishes which are not traditionally served but for those looking to enjoy a local flavour. We appreciate you highlighting our river stone pool which we know is not as familiar to some but as you said, it is clean which is mot important! But rest assured, the pool tiling and general maintenance is on our list for 2020 following our Palm room renovations. We take great pride in sharing your review with our team which we know will certainly encourage them to continue delivering our service with such pride and instill confidence in future guest to consider Coco Palm. With thanks, Coco Owners, Managers & Team

I can’t praise this hotel enough. It is well located, a short walk away from the beach at Rodney Bay, and not far from nearby shopping malls, banks and buses. The best thing about the hotel is the staff, who go out of their way to help you and sort things out. We upgraded to all inclusive for our family holiday, and can certainly recommend the bar staff who shook and mixed delicious cocktails all day long. Breakfast and all meals were excellent. The New Year’s Eve Party turned out to be an amazing extravaganza. Rooms were spacious and large. The pool side double was good, and the family suite very luxurious with two adjoining rooms and a separate large bathroom - worked well for our son and his young family. Good size swimming pool for both children to paddle in and for adults to do lengths.
What you have to learn when you arrive in St Lucia is to chill. At the beginning the service seemed very slow, but wherever you go, it’s just the St Lucian style. Go with the flow and enjoy.
A special thank you to Princess and Andaman.

No they are not salt water
The pool is large and has a normal area of deeper water but there is an extensive shallow area on one side where children can paddle and parents can be on hand to watch over them. Adults and children who are non-swimmers are well-accommodated.
Probably the rooms on the lowest floor. Our room was on the first floor with the pool just outside the sliding door. We have better luck booking hotels directly with the hotel. We used the internet to choose the type of room.
Hi , there are no cooking facilities in the bedrooms.
