To be greeted by Sreekanth and the team there with such a happy and positive welcome means we have smiles on our faces from the minute we arrive... Those smiling faces are infectious because they seem to be everywhere, whether it be staff members or guests, everyone is walking around with one on their face... I think they plan to update the hotel rooms and communal areas which IMO is needed but what makes this place is their wonderful staff... The hotel catered for the children on many levels, they helped to arrange multiple excursions and they looked after us very well... Mani brought our daughter Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and ensured she had a packed lunch to take on excursions... Incredible stay at our home away from home at LMAA... From the exceptional rooms all boasting a sea view to the high quality dining options (Gonu and Sapore are firm family favorites)... We were there during the Eid holidays and despite full occupancy the huge pools, spacious grounds and extensive sandy beaches provided plenty of options to relax and have fun as a family...

The hotel is right on the beach and is a perfect spot for a stay cation or vacation... The room was big with a nice balcony and ocean view... The breakfast buffet has a lot of different options, including fresh fruits and eggs station... If you like snorkelling and scuba diving, there are some pretty awesome spots nearby that can make even Maldives jealous... There is a professional and well equipped dive centre in the hotel... For the romantic souls, you can book a sea view dinner in Gonu restaurant...

The Meridien Al Aqah is probably my favorite place in the UAE... The rooms are spacious and the views are spectacular... The pool is substantially larger than the other hotels in the area and my husband and sons love playing volleyball with the other guests at sunset... The food at Gonu is delicious and reasonably priced by UAE standards - plus nothing beats listening to waves over dinner... If you are just looking for snacks, there is a petrol station with a mini-mart and subway across the street... Our teenage boys wore themselves out in the pool and playing volleyball, ping pong, pool, and putt putt... I love getting a lounge room for the benefit of breakfast, tea time, and happy hour... Others might prefer all-inclusive...

We ate breakfast in Views every morning and once again nothing was too much trouble...

We booked the Meridien as it was a cheaper option than Dubai for a family holiday. The hotel was perfect for our needs (we have a 2 year old and an 8 month old) and we had a very enjoyable time... The hotel catered for the children on many levels, they helped to arrange multiple excursions and they looked after us very well... Mani brought our daughter Mickey Mouse pancakes for breakfast and ensured she had a packed lunch to take on excursions...

...Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is one of the best hotels we've ever visited. Beautiful, neat territory, clean beach with beds available at any time, vast swimming pools and nice friendly personnel made our holiday fantastic... We enjoyed our room with everything at hand, good room-cleaning with daily sheets change... Hotel bars are nice with adequate choice of spirits and snacks, ice-cream is always available at the swimming pool bar... The Italian restaurant is nice, as well, as the Thai restaurant, the choice if food is quite small, but really good... We will recommend Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort to our friends and will be happy to come back here again one day...

...We have been to a few of the other hotels also but this one is best for the kids and activities it offers... The pool is really nice and there are quite a few of them for kids and adults... We took the dinner included offer and very much recommend that... Amresh Kumar at diner who is outlet manager met us a few times to ask about what specifics we needed and once the children needed something specific so he organized that from another restaurant... The rooms we got were the upgraded upper floors facing the sea and i can tell you that sitting in the balcony and watching the sea is very enchanting...
