The ART Hotel & Resort has received mixed reviews, with some guests appreciating its lively atmosphere and spacious rooms boasting impressive views, while others find the ambiance and décor somewhat outdated. The service is often commended for its courtesy and promptness, yet there are notes of inconsistency. Cleanliness generally meets high standards across rooms, facilities, and beaches. The amenities, including the food and spa, are popular among many travelers, although some issues with beach furniture have been mentioned. However, several guests question the resort's value, pointing to crowded spaces and underwhelming service considering the cost.

Check in was fast & easy. Rooms are just as you can see on the official website. Sleeping quality is good but you can hear noises from rooms next to. Housekeepers could provide more bath gel. Hotel is clean and feels fresh. Food is good but should be warmer. We were missing evening events/ shows although ladies playing an instruments next to focal bar were excellent. All inclusive services could use theme restaurants & proper information on bars open for those clients. You have free of charge sauna, which we didn't find information soon enough. Women are not treated with respect you expect when arriving from Europe.

I stayed at the Art room 502 as part of GFBTU programs for the first time ever and my experience was beyond excellent because of the staff first and the facilities second.

Hasan the bellman was always polite, friendly and fast. Karla was lovely and Grace was truly graceful. The Bahraini gentleman at the gates of the swimming pool and beach with specs was wonderful. The lifeguards were always present and watchful. The housekeeping staff constantly greeted us first with bright smiles whenever we passed by them in the corridors to our room. The gym instructors were always nice when they told me the gym was about to close as I always went late. The waitresses had beautiful smiles and the waiters tended to us tirelessly whenever we were at the restaurant or the meeting rooms. And the cherry on top was Maria who mesmerized me first with her lovely snow-white dress but then astonished me with her cheerfulness.

The facilities are top notch, flawless and very well-maintained. The view of the room was breathtaking to wake up to. The meeting room scene was strategic.

The lighting for the room was very dim and I wished we could make it brighter and the lunch buffet could be much better. But the breakfast was very tasty and had reasonable varieties.

Thank you very much for your amazing hospitality and I am looking forward to coming again for leisure purposes.

With only a few days left to our month long stay, I wanted to take the time to show gratitude for our time spent here at the Art Hotel. The facilities are beyond phenomenal and the staff truly caters to our every need. The breakfast staff, including Ms Roshni and Ms Sandaya, are so kind and warm to our children and attentive. We always felt safe and secure with the diligent and professional security staff. The valet staff, everyone one!, always greeted us with a smile and assisted me with any additional baggage. Ms Maria in the front lobby, is truly an asset to the staff as she always helped no matter how busy. She greets everyone with a smile, she is truly a professional. Housekeeping was always there to help if we needed an extra coffee or pillows or anything!! The lifeguards are incredibly trained and attentive at all areas of waterplay within the facility. We will miss everyone terribly as they have become our family over this past month and will be back to visit and stay again!!!!

Worst hotel value I have ever experienced. Took my family for a holiday weekend trip and we had to leave after the first day.

The hotel isn’t very old, but the property is deteriorating fast. From the moment you arrive, not only is it readily apparent that the grounds aren’t well kept, but the exterior of the hotel has clearly not been cleaned in a long while, if ever. So, it’s not a surprise when greeted with a musty smell when you enter the lobby, which is cheaply furnished, and a bit dingy. Certainly don’t expect to be greeted as if it were a five star hotel.

It doesn’t get any better when you get to the small room, and we had a club room. Cheaply appointed, with only two old threadbare towels, one each small viles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, basically the same feel as an older Holiday Inn.

Beach furniture is dilapidated and the service there was worse. We had to flag waitstaff to order anything which took quite a while and good bit of effort, followed by a fairly long wait for most items.

Throughout the entire stay, the service was terrible. We booked aclub room, that was supposed to have snacks after 3 PM, there were none, and the staff said that they couldn’t provide. When we did go to the club room at 5 PM, we found only the very cheapest beverages, and only one selection of each.

We asked for a turndown service and to provide towels and soap sufficient for our family, was told that would happen, but it never did. This carried on all the way past our check out, when we had called down to ask the valet to bring our car around. After checking out and waiting 20 minutes for inquiring where our car was, it was no surprise at the valet that we spoke to, hadn’t bothered to initiate bringing the car around.

Do yourself and your family a favor and avoid this hotel. All of the above was for a $700 per night room.

Very mixed opinion of this hotel . I generally don’t post negative comments preferring to give the hotel a chance to put things right if there are any issues but I think this hotel needs to decide what it wants to be . We booked all inclusive as a late winter sun get away ( price very comparable to the same package in the Caribbean ) . In some ways thank goodness for the all inclusive the food and drinks are staggering expensive if you pay as you go .
On the positive side the staff are really friendly and try really hard with the service . The hotel is clean and well equipped , outdoor pool is heated and the beach area is lovely .
On the negative - you can only use the buffet restaurant for your meals - we accepted that as it is becoming more the norm with all inclusive and the food is really good quality but apart from that the policy is bizarre to say the least . Drinks ( very limited choice which you only get to know about when you try to order something ) is only available from 11am till 7pm at the beach bar and pool bar , then in the buffet restaurant . After that you can’t get an all inclusive drink not even a cup of coffee . We’re not big drinkers only had a couple of alcoholic drinks with dinner but you can’t even get a soft drink except water until the outdoor bars open at 11am . Just tried to get a bottle of water and a Pepsi at 10.43. - only water available till 11!!I find that really wierd and doesn’t really make you feel like a valued guest . Security check your bags to make sure you are not taking your own drinks onto the beach - one guy actually had a can of Pepsi confiscated.

A very wonderful experience, the hotel facilities are beautiful, diverse and clean
The variety of restaurants is something special in the hotel, in addition to the quality of food in the existing restaurants. The hotel is a family hotel suitable for all family members
It has more than one swimming pool for adults and children, in addition to water games for children, and the sea area is clean with constant monitoring.. The only negative point in the hotel in my opinion
The room lighting is very dim, which is very annoying in the evening

We’ve just finished our stay at the Art hotel in Bahrain. Contrary to other reviews, we’ve had an excellent experience here. Now, we’ve stayed at some pretty posh hotels but the service at the Art is pretty hard to beat. Paying a little bit extra for a ‘club’ room is well worth it with a 3 and 6 year old. Refreshments are available after pool time and it was a godsend (Bahrain is quite an expensive country). Gion who seems to single handedly manage the Lounge is always at hand, caters to our vegetarian diet and is so patient with our rowdy children! Thank god they are not allowed in after 5.30pm! When the wife and I alternate for some ‘me’ time and a cheeky whiskey.

The Lobby staff also are amazing, Tareq who works at the Lobby bar always has our order ready and knows what my children like to eat. Orders come fast and take less time to eat. My fussy 3 year old always has a cup of milk ready at bedtime. That is what’s important to us. Kids are a bloody headache and it helps when staff are very sincere.

The pool staff are amazing, my son (whilst running) slipped and bumped his head and all of a sudden 4 members of staff came to the rescue. Offered water and we felt at ease. They kept an eye even after. Very very good lifeguards, very vigilant.

Lots of stuff for the kids to do, they haven’t been bored for the full 5 days we had been there. Look forward to coming here again. If its a resort you want to relax in, this is the place. The breakfast… all I can say is, fresh fruit smoothies. Very well done.

Super holiday in a fantastic hotel. The welcome was very friendly so that you felt at ease upon arrival. The room on the upper floors overlooking the beach and the city of Manama was ordered by competent staff; the cuisine, the hotel's true strong point, coordinated by highly skilled chefs, offered a gastronomic variety of the highest level; the various services managed by very professional "guys", praise for their diligence and kindness. A special thank you to Muzzahlam at the reception and to the executive chef Theodor Rudiferia, I have no words to thank him. So a splendid holiday in a fairytale setting.

The rooms are comfortable, sweet and elegant
They are meticulous in cleaning and arranging and pay attention to detail

Staying here at the weekend is not really recommended, especially if you are looking for some peace and quiet. You are woken up in the morning by loud music from the fitness class taking place by the pool. Then the loud music continues at the beach club, which belongs to the hotel. There are various areas in the bay, all of which belong to the hotel, and each one plays different music at high volume. After we waited for over an hour for our food and drinks from the pool bar and asked about it, we were told that they had not understood our order correctly and that we should order again. In the restaurants inside there is also only loud music, absolutely not good if you want to have a conversation while eating.
